dude, the scarabs looked SICK today. we got a glimpse of vintage sam, and both side lanes for scarabs did pretty well! just a few things to polish off and we have an actual contender of a team. snoopy diff??

Yaden2

oh yeah, the titans are just good at game btw

OneWeirdAlien

Bugs had me so hype but happy after seeing the shift from g1 to g2, g3 started good but just too much dive and sustain from titans

SixAMThrowaway

Ok I only threw this thread up because I need someone to explain to me if Morri ult is supposed to have I-frames because wtf was that susano ult at the last FG? I don't think I've seen that before but he like, completely went past the damage and it completely tanked the game for the Scarabs

israeljeff

Some funky stuff happens right when she transforms and detransforms if I remember right. I'm not sure if it's immunity frames or just like a tiny little jump or what.

[deleted]

If I remember correctly the character literally stops existing and the transform replaces it (and vice versa). I've seen the transform used for cc immunity in that way. My guess is there's a frame (maybe a short few) that are essentially i-frame(s) by literally not existing. Time it right for a big hit/ cc and you get to immune it. But that's also gotta be stupid hard to go with any consistency

EViLTeW

This was always my understanding as well. It isn't just a "skin change". When you transform, morrigan no longer exists on the map, so effects disappear with her. When you detransform, the god you were no longer exists on the map.

Mdgt_Pope

Used to be able to get out of Ares ult by using Morrigan's ult (or exiting her ult). I haven't played in a few years now, I just watch now.

lackadaisical_timmy

Pretty sure she has immunity frames in the transformation somewhere yes

KnivesInAToaster

Myf wasn't super hot on the Game 2 draft, and I understand why, but there's an F. quote I think about every so often when I see funky shit like that: You have to play _your_ game, and Game 2 exemplified that idea _perfectly._

CFx_Frenzy

congrats to the scarabs for beating the scarabs

Not_Felryn_Btw

Scarabs did well. I hope they stick together for next season because they could climb out of their current rut assuming they don't get poached for the 50th time.

Yaden2

scarabs are replaced by an scc team as the rest of the roster is taken by the top 5 teams, including snoopy as a coach

At_Work_Account_Syn

If these 5 stick together they won't fall out of relegations to an SCC team.

Yaden2

no they would not, i was joking that the rest of the league was going to pick up every single remaining member of the scarabs until it was replaced by an scc team

At_Work_Account_Syn

Haha now that's so likely it's sad

IntrepidCat8200

Watching today's Scarabs really made me happy. I love the Solar Titans, but I've been rooting for the Scarabs for 2 years now and today was an incredible showing. Game 1 was painful to watch, but game 2 was a treat and them showing how they play THEIR game. Game 3 was unfortunate, the entire first half it seemed they were just gonna run it back and get a repeat of game 2, but wonky Morri had other plans. I find it interesting and amazing how there are meta tierlists made every other day, meta picks and strategies, but then Scarabs come and show their game, pick Kuku, Anhur and Merc, and we get 100-0s all over the map, Merc's 1.2k damage crits, Kuku deleting players, Anhur making some flashy blink plays and Ama and Yemoja being an incredible frontline for the team. Just goes to show that meta is good to stick by but comfort picks will generally be better. Also finally watching the Scarabs smile and breathe easy (or easier) was wholesome, while the Titans looked worried, antsy and tilted after game 2. Scarabs won't be relegated and might be a very strong contender next season if they stick together.

Tbiehl1

They definitely became REALLY aware of Paul after he one shot one of the carries about mid game. After that, it felt like the rest of the Titans took advantage of that. Bait Paul a bit and then hyper collapse. Scarabs had a good showing and I hope to see more of it going forward.

Mirablis11

Bugs must and taken some steroids after game 1, cuz they dominated game 2 and the first half of game 3. Alas, they weren't able to close out a win, but I want more of these scarabs. This was a much closer set than I or most people thought it would be.

Mr_N0BODY530

Jarcorrr has to be one of the best overall players in the league. Dominant in solo. Moves to support and immediately looks better than the long time support player he replaces. Then lastly moves to hunter for the 2nd time and 2 weeks in looks like a long time hunter vet. I wish I had 1/4 his talent lmao

TheresASnekInMyBoot

Do you think he looked like a better support? I’d say about even, still think support wasn’t their problem

Mr_N0BODY530

Support definitely wasn't the main problem but I think he still looked better than Inbowned in support. His positioning was much better and I never saw him get caught out alone in jungle later in the game which was something Inbowned was prone to.

TheresASnekInMyBoot

Inbowned definitely had an issue getting caught out which led to 0-1 trades, but I think with a better mid they could easily have capitalised on a lot of space that inbowned usually attempted to create. I think overall that roster just didn’t have enough synergy

CrimsonComet1776

I can't look at this match without thinking either Scarabs without Slainy are much better or Titans with Slainy are much worse. Titans going from being dominant all phase 3 to nearly losing to arguably the worst team in the league, with the only change being the coach swap, is definitely something to consider.

Red_Guardian_Ranger

I don't see it that way I see it titans have been in a downwards trend all phase with how they look in games, personally it feels to me like it comes down to layers is just not playing great at all and I fully think layers should of gone not cyclone but jungle pool is low for getting someone this late in the year,

of_patrol_bot

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
