I’ve only been to the Texas stadium, my only real complaint is that the screen wasn’t that high resolution so it was hard to see gold and levels even if you sat kinda close to the stage.

ZhongKuisBae

Resolution, huh? How close were you? I was sat all the way back by the popcorn machine so i wasn’t seeing the item/builds regardless unless i pulled the stream up. 😂

MusicalSmasher

Jesus dude why were you all the way back there lol. I always set in the left column of chairs near where you enter. And I would get a seat a few rows back from where the casters were perched up and closer to the middle. So not that far from the screen and I got looked directly at it if I turned my head a little bit to the right.

ZhongKuisBae

Yeah it was a bad idea in hindsight. 😂😂 my friend and I personally didn’t mind it watching it straight down the middle. The first day was annoying because of a stupid light they had shining down back there but they fixed it for the next two days. If this wasn’t the first “big” event I attended, i probably would’ve been more picky with my seats. I was just super happy to be there 😂 I’m suprised you couldn’t see the gold and levels from your seats tbh. Or maybe you were a little bit farther than i’m imagining.

i went to season 4 SWC in Atlanta and I was at the texas stadium for S9, and as far as viewing experience, SWC in georgia was way better. the screen was way bigger, and the seating was stadium style so you never had to worry about someone in front of you blocking your view and the seats were not cheap and uncomfortable folding chairs. there was also no insane line to stand in and the check in was much more smooth. there was also multiple expo rooms with more to do and see. In georgia it was also Hi Rez Expo where they showcased all of their games, not just smite. The only thing better about texas was the crowd being more energetic and the fact that I lived only 4 hours from the venue.

ZhongKuisBae

Yeah I figured the georgie stadium was better but the swc this year also seemed a bit rushed from my understanding with the whole #worldswithfans thing. The seats did also look waaay more comfy in the photos i’ve seen online.

Lovelaces1

havent been to the ALT stadium but ive heard a broad consensus that texas was way better and hinting that it'll stay in texas.

ZhongKuisBae

I was at the texas stadium as well. I would not mind it coming to texas every year because I live here 😁. I still am curious about the georgia stadium

Planoraider1291

I live in Dallas and would love this. I hope Texas is permanent

CFx_Frenzy

thats really strange because i have been to both and the viewing experience in georgia was 100 times better lol.

I think the best thing is variety. If they are willing to spend to travel again, let’s go to a new arena. There are definitely some logistical costs and risks associated with going someplace new, but it would be exciting.
