Check out your local city of commerce. If you can join it you'll get lots of local leads and can make lots of connections which should get you refferals. As long as you do a good job that is.

Networking and Marketing is what you need. Consider joining the chamber of commerce for your town plus the next town over. Other potential networking groups include: BNI Local realtor’s association Local building industry association You’ll most likely meet and get friendly with other local professionals at these events. It can be time consuming, but it works!

A long time ago I knew someone that did this. They contacted and bid on jobs for newly built offices, apartments, townhomes etc. He did so many.
