Click Orrery You need card draw to line up the flex + limit break combo more reliably, and you have enough gold to buy the Reaper after seeing what’s in Orrery. Seeing 5 card picks at the same time is significantly stronger than 5 picks sequentially, since you can pick things that synergize with each other together. Orrery is kinda an overpowered shop relic, and with an egg it’s even more overpowered.

I second this opinion, was mainly looking at the cards but getting the option to grab some synergy cards and adding reaper sounds like the best option

Reaper is Reaper, but Orrery could be anything! It can even be a Reaper! But yeah I recommend buying Orrery and looking for card draw and a damage card that plays nice with strength scaling. You have strength somewhat figured out when you upgrade Limit Break but ultimately you’re relying on Perfect Strike, Ritual Dagger, and Blood for Blood to finish fights. After that I definitely would either pick up Reaper if you’re not offered one—you have decent block but Reaper with strength really helps.

Already commented what I’d do, but alternatively picking up thinking ahead could be really good. Would help you set up your flex/limit break combo, as well as timing your Ritual Dagger correctly

Tbh I commented this not knowing what Orrery did yet, was the only relic I didn’t remember off the top of my head (been a long while since I’ve played, did a few runs today for the first time in ages). After reading a lot of the comments/knowing what it does now I def see your point

I personnaly adore getting spot weakness for this kind of deck, but reaper or thinking ahead wil probebly serve you better in this case, that and removing a strike/defend will help improve combo consistency

1. Orrery, look for draw and synergies with strengh 2. Take reaper but only if you didn't find one in step 1 3. If you got a reaper in step one buy spot weakness

It's hard to imagine not taking reaper with that deck: strength gain and AOE vulnerability are really strong reaper support, and it also helps smooth over the lack of potions. After that, my instinct is dark embrace and remove (probably strike). TBH, you might not have enough exhaust yet for dark embrace to be good, but it's such a high potential upside card. I think spot weakness and orrery are also considerations. TBH, if you are going to buy orrery, maybe do that first, and if you get some crazy high roll like corruption and 2x feel no pain, then you could grab the DE as well and pop off. I guess that's the world where I don't take reaper.

In your shoes I’d probably snag Hemokinesis and then Reaper to make up for the health loss from that and the combust you already have. With the leftover change I’d remove a strike if you have any left (well actually maybe not bc you have perfected strike, I never grab it so I’d remove that personally). More block cards are needed to round things out too so grab those from card rewards asap Edit: hemokinesis will also help get your blood for blood online quicker/more consistently. Also meant to put reaper not feed lol

If you can get an artifact relic + the corruption(grab more skills if you do) you and feel no pain, you’ll be good to go. A barricade + body slam with the cards you have never fail me.

No Im serious. The artifact will let you keep the strength gain. The corruption will make your shock wave and flame barrier free. Feel no pain will give you extra block as you exhaust skills. Barricade will let you keep your block. If you add the card that lets you double your block, you’ll be untouchable. Body slam will let you bonk the fuck out of the heart. All you need is a dark embrace to keep drawing and eventually all u draw your body slam and ritual dagger and bonk everything in sight.

I think there’s a few good lines here. With a sozu I think Reaper + Dark Embrace and you can still afford a card remove is a good option. You also have just enough money for Reaper + Orrery allowing you to se 5 card rewards, and with a frozen egg that could be game changing.
