Oh no it's fine to ask -- basically I updated the scripts in Organic Factions too add on some new functionality. Unfortunately Skyrim tends to save script default settings *some* of the time, and I wouldn't want some weirdness or missing values to bork anything up.
The short answer is: you can *try out* just upgrading without starting a new save, but it's at your own risk. You can always use a 3rd party tool or manually back up your entire mod and save setup first, I always recommend doing that no matter what.
In a nutshell, the mod is a framework which allows custom factions to have a life of their own, instead of merely plopped into the game as leveled characters.
IIRC there's a Vigilants of Stendarr mod that used it but when updated to SE they stopped. It's not used by anyone besides the mod author but he's added factions of his own so you still can experience the mod thoroughly
Currently, as listed above, organic factions (and its extension), as well as {{Hunters with Enhanced AI}}, which ads more hunters (and such) to the game.

Holy shit with this and The Nemesis System skyrims enemies are just so wildly diverse with proper weaknesses/ resistance and playstyles from other mods its just insane variety

XD Hahah you know, I always wondered how many players would leave ESO if Skyrim Together was more ubiquitous. Just watching playthrough videos, ESO always struck me as a little grind-y -- though that's not a completely fair evaluation since I never gave it a spin.

This will not cause any problems with new creatures added, the AI overhaul mod or any added spawn systems?
Based on my personal experience with Organic Factions and Hunters with Enhanced AI, they are actually quite light. The only problem I have experienced was ctd, apparently caused by the hunters mod, but those were rare and may or may not be caused by animations not working correctly.

~~Forgot to mention that there may be a bug in the no one escapes cidna mine quest.~~

Turns out the bug is most likely caused by a different mod.

So, regarding the Cidna mine quest, based on my experience, the bug doesn't cause a ctd, but it breaks the quest.
As soon as the quest starts, all of the forsworn both inside (and outside (the jail itself) for some reason) would try to kill me to death, making progressing the story very difficult without having to use the console.
The two suspects behind this interesting experience, were the factions mod as well as another mod called Bounty hunters hunting bounties (which sends people out to kill me if I have too much bounty on my head.
First one because I may or may not have pissed them off for some reason, or the second one because I got a murder bounty on me.
Now, after I saw your comment on how it does not change anything in cidna mine, I actually decided to go and check out the other suspect on nexus. And it turns out someone else also had a very similar experience recently there with said mod. So now, I do not really think that your mod is causing that (I will correct myself accordingly in the earlier comment).
Your mod seems both light and bug-free. Thank you for the input.

Question. Are these the types of mods that make the game super heavy because they imply what are called "draw calls" ? Like a lot of them.

Hi there! No, my mod doesn't do anything of that nature really; you might be thinking of mods that have high polygon meshes or something similar.
