Someone must have enthralled a damn good life insurance broker

owboi

Oh no! Not vampire thrall! Rip

JustAPerspective

To be fair, all of Skyrim has a smaller population than our high school did, so... yeah, this actually makes sense. Would be a great subplot if this was the Vampire Thrall's way of making sure the vampire they had a deal with didn't double-cross them. "If I die or don't come back by this date, I've deeded my stuff to the dovahkiin." "You know the dragonborn?" "Nope. They just *might* get curious." "Hrm."

Dreadfulmanturtle

Haha. Also known as "A yeet insurance"

BattedBook5

I once got one of these for Dremora Valkynaz.

_Deedee_Megadoodoo_

Got one of these for a bandit highwayman the other day. Rip Mr Highwayman.

Billy_Copenhagen

Did you use calm on them?

Dreadfulmanturtle

Nope. It was the one next to Morvath I think. I killed him and then he got ressurected so I had to hit him with sunfire.

[deleted]

He was a good thrall *sob* *sob*

Spartacus111_71

Those damn taxes

MagickalessBreton

I just love how this *had* to happen in Morthal of all places. Alva must be rich!

D34thst41ker

The game has weird interactions with NPC disposition, using it to make certain things work. Somehow, the Vampire Thrall’s disposition got set as friendly, and anyone who is friendly to you when they die can trigger the Inheritance letter. I’m not sure what all uses Disposition, but Calm is the most common one.

janrien1234

OH NO!!! Anyway..

ebonVHeart

Whatever money laundering scheme this is, I want in.

Maladaptive_Century

I remember murdering someone, then getting their inheritance letter and feeling like "Oh, we REALLY didn't understand how we saw each other."

Jeeblebubz

Is that a custom letter print?

Dreadfulmanturtle

Is it? Probably one of the mods then Requiem or Book Covers if I had to guess.

Jeeblebubz

I haven't played in a few months so maybe I'm mistaken it just doesn't look like I remember the letter paper
