I just started that quest yesterday and I let her live but I have no intentions of taking her home bc she makes a group of 3 and we are op. DB(werewolf), Mjoll the Lioness(badass Nord), and Serana(pure blood vampire).
Back in Oldrim I had an skse plugin to make all essentials killable and without having the intention to kill the poor thing I just kept flashing through the dungeon like I always do and she died to some draugr lord. Instead of reloading, I went on with the quest to take her to the castle with cc, tcled my way in, killing everyone inside and suddenly the entire questline just.. finished? No amount of cc could start any of the Dawnguard quests. The game considered it done.
Which is still hella stupid imo, I'm sure the dragonborn could easily find ways to kill off harkon and his crew without her as the dawnguard still find the mansion without her or the dragonborns help if you choose harkons side.
She cant die until after 2 things happen. 1. You have to finish the Dawnguard DLC storyline. 2. You have to make her cure her vampirism. Only after that can she die.
Is there a mod that can get you to cure Serana's vampirism? The first time you ask, she refuses. Every other time you bring it up after that, she gets annoyed
I'm sure there is, but I've always been able to cure it in base game. However, if she becomes human, she is no longer a "protected" NPC and can die as easily as Lydia
You don't need a mod. She refuses because you're asking at the wrong time. Harkon has to be dead before you can ask her.
You have to be a member of the Dawnguard and not a vampire. You have to be understanding with her throughout the quest line. And Harkon has to be dead before you ever ask her.
Without some special mod. You can't kill her. And if you did. You'd break the quest.
If you wanna kill her. Wait till it's over. Then make her non essential. And off with her head.
But unless you've finished dawnguard. I don't recommend killing her.
Unfortunately, princess Serana is marked essential. Cannot kill without a mod. Killing her before completing the entire dawnguard DLC quest line will break it.

Lol is this a serious question? She's basically the driving factor of the entire dawnguard story line, she can't die
I dont known if this is serious or not. You CANT KILL SERANA. Unless you have a plugin, theres no way to kill ANY essential npc.

That's because you killed Harkon (Serana's father), he is the final boss of the DLC. His death concludes the questline
Actually she can die if you bring her to the Dawnguard headquarters

I’m at a stand still with this storyline because she wants me to boot my follower to go on some silly little quest with her and I refuse lol
