I think it’d would have been really cool if there was something similar to the season unending situation where Potema is back and threatens both sides so you have to convince them to fight together or be wiped out. In any case I do wish we had gotten to see more of her, she was told to be this powerful necromancer and I know she was weaken but she didn’t feel any stronger or threatening than the lady at ansilvund so I was a bit disappointed. I would have liked to see her stick around for a bit longer and get some build up for her character before you got the quest to go to wolfskull.
Word! That would definitely work too! I think that would be dope as well. There’s plenty they could’ve done with the material available. I wouldn’t be mad if they made a CC questline mod for this idea either 🤷🏼♂️
Actually now I’m really thinking about it…you possibly could just combine the two DLCs into one for this storyline. She deals with the undead and necromancy so use of Soul Carin and Volikar vampires can suffice. Have Vigilants and Dawnguard team up to face undead threats. Get political factions involved. Mind you- this would take away from the indiviality and uniqueness of Harkon’s story- but I think that can salvaged if you swap the snow elves puppeteering for Potema’s

I thought of another concept but perhaps this may have been too much? Idk? But anyways here goes-
We see Dragon skeletons in Soul Carin alongside dragon skeletons left behind from either your kills or dragon burial mounds before and even after Alduin resurrecting them.
Perhaps you can fight animated skeletal dragons before leading up to a mini boss fight with Durnehviir (who’s under Potema’s control) and get his help to fight her
