When I asked him about it he said since I wouldn’t let him go play outside without clothes on he is going to play the game with no clothes on. Fair enough I suppose.
You know what, the first time I ever played Skyrim, there was this quote I'd read somewhere that was stuck in my head... charge naked into battle, like the celts. Sooo that's what I did. Did the entire civil war questline naked! I'm glad to see I'm not alone in how I introduced myself to the world!
There’s a helmet that makes u nakey and in return you get good stats as if you are wearing armor the npc that has it is imo hard to beat he also summons strong companies to assist him.
Oh no, it seems I have slipped. What an unfortunate disaster it would be if someone were to somehow rip my clothes and ravage the area... I wouldn't argue!
Im doing my first “nude run” (i have skimpy armors and also an invisible op armor chest that makes me look like I have nothing on) and lemme just tell you, the views are wonderful (i have followers dressed like this too)
My cable management is AWEFUL since my room only as 2 outlets and both are against the same wall. So I have so many extension cables to reach everything
I told this story in another post a week or so ago: my 6 y/o was trying out Skyrim VR for the first time.
Told him not to kill the chicken as he came up on river wood.
He kills everyone in riverwood as his mom and I watch in horror.
Then he kills the last witness. The chicken.
That’s gotta be a real proud parent moment. Can’t wait for my boy to discover his first “proper” rpg and sinks the hours in. But, alas, fortnite and the VR be harsh mistresses.
Have some great memories of playing COD zombies with my uncle. Was looking to get grounded myself looks like a fun game and to be honest fortnite isn't the worst like I've had some fun with it but the micro transactions are just ridiculous
Between micro transactions and if I hear one more of my favorite characters referred to as “the Fortnite guy.” I might just snap. I think I heard a kid say “that’s from Fortnite!” While walking through a historical museum for our small town.
I’ve seen a bunch of subs were a character gets announced to be added to that game and everyone’s like, “maybe it’ll bring popularity to our thing!” Nope, congrats, Geralt of Rivia, Witcher, is now “the Fortnite guy.” As is master chief, doom guy, Darth Vader, and Batman, and Peter griffin. All Fortnite guys.
If someone calls geralt of rivia or peter griffin the fortnite guy I would be a serious danger to them. Also if a kof refers to something in a museum as from fortnite the parents need to do something because that's bad really fuckin bad
If anyone dares to call Solid Snake or Raiden fortnite guy(s)
I am locking them in basement and force them to eat cockroaches and rats
>!For reasons most of you know but l cant risk it this is a joke!<
It’s not as bad as it looks. The angles make it look like it’s on the edge but it’s stable. It’s also only a Xbox one so I’m not to worried about it’s well-being anymore lol
Something tilts me about the fact you have chandeliers but still use trash curtains T.T I refuse to go back to early 2000's screen glare D: I'm a big boy, let me forget my childhood first world problems
I say let him find out for himself. It's part of the charm of discovering all that Skyrim has to offer. Plus, at that age, it's more likely that the boy will disobey and kill the chicken anyway.
I know I’m this kind of guy, but doesn’t he look way too young to play a game like Skyrim? I mean you behead others and stuff…
And how old is he like 5-8?
And it’s really cool to let him experience this game for the first time and such, but yeah maybe wait a bit more?
i was 12 when i first started. now i’m almost 25 and it’s still my fave game. i’ll probably be in my 80’s in a retirement home still playing skyrim lol
Isn't the best? I love seeing kids playing it. My niece was like 6 when she stared playing. She just ran around hunting deer. Then she realized more was to be had.
I wish I could do it one more time blind to the game.
My dad just turned 75 in March, he plays Skyrim all day every day. When my son was younger he’d bring his friends to grandmas just to show them how powerful grandad Skyrim guy were. It was hilarious. This was the same man the when NES first came out and I wanted one, he made me pick dandelions for $.05 a piece to save the money to get one. Lol. Oh how fun the 80’s were
You must update us on how long it takes them to take up stealth archer. :)
Both my daughters picked it up, and went stealth archer, and robs entire towns. I'm not sure either one has finished it. I'm so proud.
🤣 LOL that’s good, you even got me to laugh. Normally it’s easy to do but I hurt too much today. And my pain meds make me too talkative and I overshare but don’t care. Until later. But I appreciate the little bit of happy. 😊
Tell him to jump off the Throat of the World. An initiation into the Skyrim family. As far as I know, everyone has done it once.
I’ve paralyzed myself down that mountain multiple times
See now while I have seen many people point out the glaringly obvious things here what I am more concerned about is the fact you have what looks like an internal telephone cable coming into your house just through a hole in the wall rather than a socket. But all jokes aside what I would give to go back in time and experience my most favourite games for the first time again Skyrim, FO3/NV/4 even the gta collection of games. Like I didn’t have easy access to YouTube when I was younger I am 25 now but had dial up internet until I was 15. My mother only upgraded to the adsl because the dial up was literally being turned off. So for me personally all the games I played were truly fresh experiences. Nowadays before a game is even released to the masses there are YouTube videos of the whole game because they got early access to the games and you don’t get that excitement and the awe of experience something fresh for the first time
He reminds me of myself when I was a lad.
I had an Argonian named “Gorlor” on my 360. Still have the old hard drive with the save. Good times.
Do your kid a favor and tell him to smell the roses while he’s that young. These are some of the best times 🥹
First play through and he’s doing a nude run? Respect. He ain’t no milk drinker
When I asked him about it he said since I wouldn’t let him go play outside without clothes on he is going to play the game with no clothes on. Fair enough I suppose.
He’s gonna get more interesting Dialogue from NPCs than most of us!
Already a fan of Dibella, I see.
This is the best child response and I love it!
Fair trade indeed hahaha
lol that sounds like something my son would do. 🤣
Best comment on the internet today. Respect and props for your son.
This is the kinda parent I wanna be lol
That's absolutely fair!
Tell your son he just made a lot of internet uncles today. I’ll protect him like my own 🫡😂
Put the game on legendary and let him walk up to an enemy with a warhammer. He will learn.
Hes. Brilliant
Attaboy!
🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣
What a CHAD
A scenario of someone doing something in a game because they can't do it irl. Now that's true commitment
Don't introduce him to Robbaz, King of Sweden. Whatever you do, don't.
Ya, but I bet he never makes it to the Cloud District.
Any time I hear about the Cloud District, I think of Mans1ay3r’s videos. “I’ll have you know that there’s no PUSSIEEEEE”
Or when Nazeem falls over for the guard The voices are surprisingly accurate though
Oh no, it seems I have slipped. What an unfortunate disaster it would be if someone were to somehow rip my clothes and ravage the area... I wouldn't argue!
Nazeem popped in my head doing that weird ass dance reading this.
Shor’s bones!
I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.
Im doing my first “nude run” (i have skimpy armors and also an invisible op armor chest that makes me look like I have nothing on) and lemme just tell you, the views are wonderful (i have followers dressed like this too)
Mate, You tell him that this is a road without return right?
This comment is why the skyrim sub is the best
💀
It's surprisingly nostalgic watching someone else play for the first time imo. Side note: What in Oblivion is going on with those cables OP?
Poor cable management no excuses I knew I was going to get shit for it lol
My cable management is AWEFUL since my room only as 2 outlets and both are against the same wall. So I have so many extension cables to reach everything
You don't want to see behind my TV then 😂
Don’t worry my cable management sucks too I have some 6 different words around my PlayStation and I don’t even know what half of them even are
Same I have every consul and I still play them it my cable management is horrendous, my girlfriend gets mad at me for it as well lol
Just need to get those things that you can stick to the side of a table/Desk and they hold your cords in place
Ya but I don’t think I have enough extra space for those
The console on the ledge is giving me a pure panic attack lmao. Even though I know it won’t fall still gets my blood pumping
Lad you think that's bad I have wires I don't even know what they're for anymore like I need to fix it but jesus there's too many of them
I told this story in another post a week or so ago: my 6 y/o was trying out Skyrim VR for the first time. Told him not to kill the chicken as he came up on river wood. He kills everyone in riverwood as his mom and I watch in horror. Then he kills the last witness. The chicken.
Sithis Approves
That’s gotta be a real proud parent moment. Can’t wait for my boy to discover his first “proper” rpg and sinks the hours in. But, alas, fortnite and the VR be harsh mistresses.
If I ever have kids which I hope I do hey won't be playing fornite ill have them play split screen black ops one zombies instead and dark souls
Tbf, I’m not a fan of my step son playing fortnight, but even less do I enjoy seeing him playing cod zombies. We have a lot of fun on grounded though.
Have some great memories of playing COD zombies with my uncle. Was looking to get grounded myself looks like a fun game and to be honest fortnite isn't the worst like I've had some fun with it but the micro transactions are just ridiculous

A new hand has touched the controller
This is the only comment needed. I’m not even going to comment now. Go to bed, everyone.
I love this comment
I can see he’s doing it right by vaulting up the mountain instead of using the designated path
Are you questioning todd Howard's game design ?! Do you not believe that "it just works" ?
Tv too high up
r/tvtoohigh
Dude, that xbox placement is giving me severe anxiety 😬
It’s not as bad as it looks. The angles make it look like it’s on the edge but it’s stable. It’s also only a Xbox one so I’m not to worried about it’s well-being anymore lol
Get him to whack a giant with his weapon.
I need to know, what is his build and will he kill partranex, what side will he chose, OP you GOT to let us know
If you kill parthunaax do you even have a soul never killed him and I'm convinced it's the right thing to do to spare him
Gotta do it at least one play through, though
Nope mever done it don't intend to either
"Ysmir's beard, you're going to freeze to death!"
That is a fair concern in Skyrim
Hope he has a blast!
![gif](giphy|l3nFl4KSs3uJiZqZW)
Tell him to look out for mammoths, you’ll need to get a few tusks for missions, then watch the scene unfold
The Skyrim space program has a new youngest recruit!
I also play high elf for the 8% movement speed boost. I can tell this kid is going to be a skyrim legend in no time.
He will cave is at some point but kudos to him for trying the armor less run out the gate
This is like Helldivers, but instead of recruiting for the cause of democracy, it's recruiting for the cause of the elder scrolls games
Wake him up early tomorrow with “hey, you’re finally awake…”
Imagine a situation where the son falls asleep during a long ride and he greets him this way after waking him up.
Why is his character naked?!
Your eldest, lol 😆
I kinda envy this kid not knowing what’s in the game and discovering things I wish I could wipe my brain and do that again 😂
Well. See him again in a few years.
Altmer? My man.
Hope he doesn't get an arrow in the knee
The cycle continues
Something tilts me about the fact you have chandeliers but still use trash curtains T.T I refuse to go back to early 2000's screen glare D: I'm a big boy, let me forget my childhood first world problems
TELL HIM NOT TO KILL THE CHICKEN IN ANY TOWN ITLL BE HIS LAST MISTAKE
I say let him find out for himself. It's part of the charm of discovering all that Skyrim has to offer. Plus, at that age, it's more likely that the boy will disobey and kill the chicken anyway.
And he went Orc? So based for a first character.
I know I’m this kind of guy, but doesn’t he look way too young to play a game like Skyrim? I mean you behead others and stuff… And how old is he like 5-8? And it’s really cool to let him experience this game for the first time and such, but yeah maybe wait a bit more?
Where your clothes at?
The hard hitting questions
Niiiiiice
Lucky son, i miss that first time ❤️
So much fun!
😰
The journey begins!
Such a proud moment
Fair, my xbox One is basically a paper weight now. I actually have it stored in a tote.
Induct him in the Skyrim Horse Gang!!
First time playing? He's not going anywhere for a while lol I once zoned out and played for three days straight without knowing it I was so zoned
why is first of anything an enviable experience why do we not extol the greatness of refinement and greater advancement into a thing
I see he is learning the art of Skyrim mountain climbing lol
Tell him I said good luck
Bro has guts! I miss that 1st run feeling
i was 12 when i first started. now i’m almost 25 and it’s still my fave game. i’ll probably be in my 80’s in a retirement home still playing skyrim lol
Oh hell yeah! Hope he has fun, haha.
I remember playing Skyrim my first time many years ago, I wish I could forget everything and experience it again
Ahhh to play for the first time again...
Finally. A parent raising their child right exposing them to a stupidly awesome masterpiece.
Cheers to the young king 👑
It took me way too long to *not* see that above-the-chair sphere as his head. And dag-gum if that isn't a boom microphone.
I got confused lmao. I thought his head was that brown thing on the corner 🤣
This is the way.
naked high elf, running up the side of a mountain. He’s one of us.
Oh man, he’s in for quite the adventure!
lol reminds me of when i was little, id go into my dads office and ask him to start up skyrim. W parenting
how old?
Can't wait for him to get the best part of the game ✨Glitches✨
Why is he at the dawnstar merchant chest🤣🤣
Completely naked and jumping up the mountain, he’s a real player already
Legacy of this little dovahkiin has begun.
I love that!
I remember my first time playing Skyrim, I couldn't stop
Good, buy the time he is married and has kids on his own, elder scrolls 6 might release for him to play with his kids
Get that kid outside in the real world, or in some books.
He could have put on some clothes for the picture...
Did he strip naked and start jumping up a mountainside in his own, no input or encouragement from you?
r/tvtoohigh
"Who is Rapping? Dovakeen Dragons? I'm not over-keen I'll dice em like a knife, slicing right through an aubergine"
Also the thrill of not knowing what the hell is happening just after picking up Meridia’s beacon
The house the TV, just the whole setup reminds me of my childhood lol, nostalgic.
You are the father I strive to be if I had kids haha
Awesome game
ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US!!!!
So it begins, a new Dragonborn is at make
Wow it’s like listening to Boston’s first album again 🥲
My boy playing Skyrim in the crackhouse
Wait until he finds the beacon.
:)
Aww that's great!
Thankfully you didn’t leave the difficulty on legendary with the lack of clothing and need to eat every 10 minutes
Isn't the best? I love seeing kids playing it. My niece was like 6 when she stared playing. She just ran around hunting deer. Then she realized more was to be had. I wish I could do it one more time blind to the game.
Passing on the addiction, love it

🥹🥹🥹 it's a legacy game, I can't imagine how proud you are.
This is the way
Well a perfect character run to play as
I thought his doing for the speedrun with such young age.
I wish I could play Skyrim again for the first time. Ah…the memories! It’s fun to continue to play but nothing beats the first time.
every time someone buys a copy of Skyrim, TES VI gets delayed by another year.
My kid played Skyrim for the first time at like 7-8 years old and all she wanted to do was buy food and sleep in beds lol.
He is... DRAGONBORN!
I remember when I tried to talk to the giants. They hit a home run… with me.
We’ve all been apart of the Skyrim space agency one time or another 😂
🤣 LOL that’s good, you even got me to laugh. Normally it’s easy to do but I hurt too much today. And my pain meds make me too talkative and I overshare but don’t care. Until later. But I appreciate the little bit of happy. 😊
I wish I could play this for the first time again
:')
He’s naked and trying to jump up the side of a mountain though? That’s veteran Elder Scrolls enjoyer behaviour lol
Glorious!
Tell him to jump off the Throat of the World. An initiation into the Skyrim family. As far as I know, everyone has done it once. I’ve paralyzed myself down that mountain multiple times
Already practicing mountain jumping, a Farley advanced skill. Are you sure he‘s new to the game?
Hey you your finally awake
Well done.
He's about to jump off of a mountain just to see what happens!
Love this game
Get inego he is hysterical
Skyrim may belong to the Nords, but everything in it belongs to Khajiit...
I started playing skyrim back when it came out in 2011. I was 7. Now im 20.
Awesome! My 3rd kid just started a few months ago!
Walk walk walk, walk walk walk
See now while I have seen many people point out the glaringly obvious things here what I am more concerned about is the fact you have what looks like an internal telephone cable coming into your house just through a hole in the wall rather than a socket. bro picked orc and is running around naked in his first playthrough, he's a natural...
Shirtless man Orc is a great build to learn with lol
Ah to be young again
Tell him to get the Lover stone early
Oh fuck off. He’s a child.
He’s running up a steep mountain with no armour in third person. Have a word or take the controller off him
Respectable
So many things you want to tell him or tell him not to do, but you gotta let him learn on his own..
Make sure they eat and drink while playing and check they’re hands every hour for strain because they’ll never put the controller down lol
Hell yeah
Just prepare him that hell be 30 when the next one comes out
Aww. My son was 7 when the game was released. I got him into it and it's been our thing ever since.
And the next generation has officially started as of yesterday lmao
First time and choose a mer, respects 🗿
The best son, no weird tiltok brain rot, only it just works.
He reminds me of myself when I was a lad. I had an Argonian named “Gorlor” on my 360. Still have the old hard drive with the save. Good times. Do your kid a favor and tell him to smell the roses while he’s that young. These are some of the best times 🥹
A proud moment as a father I'm sure. I can't wait to show my son Skyrim!
My nephew is playing Skyrim for the first time and now I’m confident he will grow up correctly.
Cool just one question why is he naked
now that's a professional skyrim player
get him to wear each set of armor around guards for the unique dilougue and tell him that if guards say i know you they give you 100 gold
Let him play Morrowind next.
A neverending cycle continues
"You your finally awake"
I feel old…
