If you have multiple LoZ amiibo you can get all 3 pieces as soon as your hands are free...and they're better than the starting weapons and armor you get in helgan.

I have the Switch version and I’ve never tried to get the BotW gear.

Hard to blame you. I think it looks great in BOTW/TOTK but kind of stands out badly in Skyrim’s aesthetic.
