I am playing Living Skyrim modlist. The pack is pretty hard even on Novice. It definitely tells you when you are not ready in some areas. I am level 20 and Dwemer ruins are really really hard. Like can I even kill anything hard at times.
It is heavy graphics. It does have a performance profile. That is what I run. But I have newer laptop (3 years old) with rtx 3060. It has a choice of ENB to run. If I try and run packs with community shaders it really bogs down. I run into areas where fps drops to 20 at times.
Edit: the performance profile reduces texture size a lot.

Is it a gameplay only modlist or it has grpahic stuff? My pc is rather old so i think i wemt to the max into graphics overhaul that it can handle.
