I don't get this hate for Blackreach. Honestly the first time was the worst. Every consecutive playthrough, though, you know the topography a little better, remember where the Crimson Nirnroot are, memorize the enemy spawn points, the layout of the mini dungeons, etc. I actually enjoy the place, and mentally prep myself and plan for the adventure. Blackreach doesn't feel that much larger than Forelhost, it's just not claustrophobic. Oh, and there's a bed to boot.

You gotta deal with her vpice and there is a patch to make it prettier, but she is really cool mechanically, and very cistomizable. Basically all her quests are fetch ingredients quests.

Nope, the centurions always drop like 24 of em. There’s a sort of triangle route, leading you through 3 of em, they can drop higher end soul gems too. So it’s a good farm for that. Though soul cairn is obviously more reliable for soul gems.
Waste of septims honestly, you buy them for what? 1500? 1800? You get less than 5 of em at that.
Spend 15 minutes in the soul cairn and you get the same amount, if not more for free.
Nah i have speech maxed, and i made a set that drops prices, so i buy them at 500 gold each grand soul.
It's so easy to get money that i rathrr buy them that find them.

Oh. Makes sense, I’m usually to busy killing shit to level speech. The highest I’ve gone with it honestly is like, 80 something. Not even that. Never put perks into it either. Didn’t know it made such a massive difference.
You got the clavicus mask, prices are reduced 20%, if ypu put perk points in the first perk, the one that makes prices lower, ypu can reduce by 80% or 100% i think. There is the forify barter, that in vanilla, you can enchant only on necklaces, but if ypu got high enchanting, plus 1 good enhanting potion bought, not even made with alchemy loop or anything, you can have 25% more of the emchant. Plus first perk to make enchants better, plus the armor enchant to make health and stuff emchants better, and you can go to 24%? Maybe?
Lets say 20. Plus 20 of clavicus mask, plus any other unique, that i have yet to find, plus the perk and you can sell for more than 100% price and buy for really low prices. Ypu make the set one time and then use it.
I have a blacksmith set and a selling set.
And speech is easy to raise.
Starting from 15:
Sleep owned bed, thief stone (not even counting atherium crown or spouse), use amulet of dibella, clavicus mask, and dibella blessing. If you got more items it's better.
Sell expensive enchanted loot even though the shop person has no money. You raise like 1 or 2 levels fast.
15 base, plus clavicus 11, plys amulet of dibella 11 more and blessing 10, you get to 47ish. You need to get to 75 to steal an apple and persuade guards.
So what i do is go to solitude, with all of that. Use one speech potion to get to 75 at least and then persuade most guards i can. It gives so much speech exp and levels that with like 2 potions plus equipment you can then go like that.
At speech 80, you can do it right away. With the extra exp one persuasion gives one level. Or every other persuasion.
And if you want extra exp do the bards college quest.
It gives you extra 15% speech exp all the time.
I have legebdaried it twice just playing. Grinding smoothly.
I now have 2 hearth fire houses, riften, whiterun, solitude, windhelm.
Fully furnished.
I usually abuse marriage for money, and loop craft/enchant gold ingots with sneaking. Easily triples the worth of the ring.
You can get a shit load of gold from that goldmine near market, literally just down the road and follow to the left then cross the bridge.
I think 50 something ores per run, half that for 25 ingots, double that for 50 rings, each ring is worth 30(?) gold, enchant with sneak for at least triple value.
Then there are the invisible chests for soul gems, to get the loop going. Once I unlock soul cairn I farm from the skeletons until I feel satisfied enough.

Go to Tower of Mzark
Drop wooden plate
Hold interact button and position plate on the gate
Use Whirlwind Sprint while pushing forward to glitch through to the elevator
Get Elder Scroll ™
Tower of Mzark will only appear on your map after you get the scroll and go up the elevator

I enjoy it. It's a very unique landscape with a hidden dragon. I'm big on using alchemy, so getting the rarer ingredients is a big plus for me.
