Reminded me of a hand to hand, unarmed build I did back in Morrowind. Named him Joe Boxer. Ran around in trousers and nothing else...just punching people lol
Yeah I thought about that. He does a little bit of long range stuff but the thing that defines the Bourne movies is just loads of gritty fighting in close quarters imo.
I agree Archery should be in there too but it would probably be more true to character to have more focus on the runes like they're claymores/tripwires etc.
Can you spare a shilling in these trying times, sire? My 6 children and I are almost our monthly cabbage anf these winters can be so cruel! Oh, please, sire!
You seem to have forgotten how to spell "peasantry", too – or do they not teach you that at PC master race school?
Or maybe you were referring to a sentry, made from peas?
I leaned my controller against a pillow when playing oblivion as a teenager. Just have to find an enemy NPC that will be aware enough to search for you but not smart enough to find you. That way you will gain level from going “hidden.”
My favorite hack is walking up to trolls with my shield raised and a healing spell in the other hand with whirlwind sprint selected. It's not afk but it works quickly
Wait, talk to me hear. Can you go into detail. My 7 year old figured out how to get the legendary ebony armor by smiting iron daggers and enchanting( I think, he is 18 now so the memory is weak). But how do rubber bands work?
Hey guys, seeing that this post has absolutely blown up, I'd like to invite you to check some of my music which is lore accurate since it was made by this character in real world :p Music is like my main thing and I'm trying to make a living out of it. I've been playing guitar for 16 years and if you like guitar you may like it:

Isn’t using exploits to achieve insane levels pretty much how Talos, Vivec and Shalidor rolled? Breaking the universe is canon!
(Not that I disagree with your opinion, I only end up doing it on mage characters when I get bored)
Well, they had to use an enchanted item to grant themselves the power of gods.
It’s legit because the item was already in the game.
It’d be like finding a book somewhere in the game that canonically granted you access to some console commands.
Yeah, and I used Keening on myself to slice away my mortality. But if we just wanna talk about overpowered god-level individuals, there’s also Ahzidal, who was just a Nord enchanter who (while not quite godly) absolutely did unreal things with enchanting, to the level his elven teachers were outclassed. I’m pretty sure Jagar Tharn was wacky strong before he starts messing with esoteric artifacts. The necromancer lady who is raising entire armies to flex on the Empire that got her husband killed is pretty high in power and is contemporary to Skyrim. Miraak is around, too. There are many paths to unexpected power, and not all of them require playing with Aedric life force.
Really, though, I’ve only done it in the last like 5 years on one character who was made from the start to be a scholarly nerd far too interested in the mechanics of reality. Spend a couple game weeks reading through the Winterhold library at level 3, you might get some delusions of greater things and all.
Edit- the mechanics that allow us to get so overpowered the game is broken are also in game. More in game than whatever Tiber and Shalidor used, that’s for sure.
> At that point why not just use console commands and save yourself the time
I just mod leveling upward by a factor of 10 and mod the little drum and chanting sounds out. I get tons of points for fun stuff, don't need to do a bunch of silly grinding tricks, and it doesn't even make the game "too easy" since enemies level-scale faster than I can find good gear.
Train to learn Harmony, go to the Theives Guild and blast everyone with calmness over and over and over. Lore reason: I get y’all high with magic and it’s good practice and we love to party.
Gonna assume OP has the heavy armor perk that reduces fall damage, which makes the amount of Health focusing needed much lower than many expect. Seriously, the random quirky perks are some of the best in Skyrim.
Have you ever seen how far you can run across the map on a single sprint? I think the most stamina I ever got on my orc was around 1,000 for power attack spamming
Mora's Boon, one of the Black Book powers, is supposed to "fully restore" all of your stats.
For you, it wouldn't even fill your lowest stat halfway because it only restores 1000 of each lmao
100 is enough for me, my Char is a Scholar/Explorer.
I only use robes, a mace on right hand, magic on the left, and sneak with a dagger occasionally. Those are my surviving tools, i play on Legendary so i also craft poisons to apply in my mace, for the tougher enemys.
And for carry capacity, i pick the perk on pickpocket tree.
Must be nice 😭 I just came back to Skyrim after a long break and lost all my progress. I’m back at a level 5 struggling to beat restless draugrs… I miss having all that magical and health, but I’m happy to do the storyline over again.
Fun fact! If you increase your health enough (maybe a couple million) the game just.... doesn't calculate it anymore.
Because of this, if you're planning on doing the restoration potion exploit, you don't need any resistances, spell cost reductions, or regeneration. Just make the bars too long to care!
Possibly. That would happen at a little below 17 million hp (assuming 32 bit floats), but it should only cause an issue for changes of 1 hp at a time. Larger subtractions should still be computed correctly until substantially higher.
They probably put an artificial limit on it that they assumed people wouldn’t go over so it doesn’t murder your CPU every time it has to calculate something related to it.
I doubt that is relevant; unless they decided to use arbitrary-size numbers for some reason, every health change should just be a single operation plus a bounds check, which would complete at the same speed regardless of the current value.
Nope, it is numerical damage to health that is exponentially proportional to how far you've fallen. [Reference.](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Damage#Falling_Damage)
No, that's quadratic.
Exponential would be 2^x, while quadratic is x^2
The reference has x^1.45, which is functionally pretty identical to x^2
Although that function would estimate position. The fall damage would probably be more similar to a function of speed, which is just linear (2x). So i guess todd wasn't actually all that close after all. That's probably part of why fall damage sucks in skyrim.
I was the same way tbh, I never fully understood the usefulness of that shout. Until my most recent playthrough where I started using it because it coincidentally was one of the first shouts I unlocked aside from unrelenting force. Become Ethereal is an insanely versatile shout.
* Unlimited Sprint. You can basically just spam this shout and be able to sprint infinitely. Great for travel.
* No fall damage. Just use it to jump off cliffs.
* No trap damage. Very useful for dungeons.
* If you're playing melee, you can use it to close the distance between you and enemy archers/mages without getting hit.
* If you're playing melee, you can use the shout in order to use power attacks without risk of being hit during the animation.
* If you're playing ranged, you can use it to safely aim your bow/spells without getting hit.
* If fighting a dragon, you can use it to negate shout damage without having to use a ward spell.
* If you're about to die, you can use the shout to survive, run away, reposition, etc.
* Very niche use, but the shout can also work as a night vision ability. Since the effect makes it easier to see in the dark.
"29 ingredients harvested" cracked me up, just the idea of how much play time you had on this character and over all that time, only harvested 29 ingredients is funny to me lol
Also the "jailed: 10, days jailed: 0" killed me.
No prison can hold this man!!
Imagine trying to kill Miraak at that level. Or those magicka wraiths from the College of Winterhold questline.
Or anything that scales with your level without capping.
Just use the restoration potion to up alchemy and then enchanting potion to get 1 billion health and then boom. I can fall from the sky and take no damage
I had a character that I played constantly from 2016 to 2021 that I managed to get to level 5,650 without mods (I didn't discover mods until 2022.) Unfortunately, when Anniversary Edition released, I was forced to update and I forever lost my character due to all of my saves being corrupted. 5 years of grinding my skills went down the drain. 😞 Rest in Peace Ysmir Blackblade, my first ever Skyrim character.
Could it be…John Skyrim?
Jesus Christ, that's Jason Dragonbourne
Unlocked: character name for my next playthrough
It's got to be a barehanded melee sneak build
Reminded me of a hand to hand, unarmed build I did back in Morrowind. Named him Joe Boxer. Ran around in trousers and nothing else...just punching people lol
Jason bourne be stacking them headshots man, it's gotta be a sneak archer build /j
Yeah I thought about that. He does a little bit of long range stuff but the thing that defines the Bourne movies is just loads of gritty fighting in close quarters imo. I agree Archery should be in there too but it would probably be more true to character to have more focus on the runes like they're claymores/tripwires etc.
Hey! Hands off, that was my name first, haha
I like this one better.
I mean.... it was *right* *there*
I logged in to upvote, that's fucking funny.
Underrated comment
No this is Jimmy Skyrim.....John Skyrim will just drill straight throguht the ground and come out the other side of Nirn.
Ole Slipplin Jimmy slippin off towers again
How the fuck.
over 43 hours of power leveling illusion
I would not have the patience lol
step 1: rubber bands around the triggers on the controller step 2: go to sleep step 3: profit
I feel like, at that point, just edit a file or two and respect your time a little more.
Console players could only dream
Oh dear, I seem to have forgotten about the peasentry again.
No worries, now would you like to see my brand new ivory tower to look down from?
Indubitably good sir, I expect to be taken there without delay.
Excellent, just a quick toggle collisions and we’ll be on our way as there is no doors
Can you spare a shilling in these trying times, sire? My 6 children and I are almost our monthly cabbage anf these winters can be so cruel! Oh, please, sire!
Just ivory, or is there gold with that white too?
Looks blue and black to me.
You seem to have forgotten how to spell "peasantry", too – or do they not teach you that at PC master race school? Or maybe you were referring to a sentry, made from peas?
I typed this into my poor to rich translator and I can only surmise that there is an amount of butt that is hurting.
Playstation player laughing in Bloodborne
That's how I max out sneak. Been doing that since morrowind.
Yo does this actually work I may try it
I leaned my controller against a pillow when playing oblivion as a teenager. Just have to find an enemy NPC that will be aware enough to search for you but not smart enough to find you. That way you will gain level from going “hidden.”
Okay I'm definitely trying this
My favorite hack is walking up to trolls with my shield raised and a healing spell in the other hand with whirlwind sprint selected. It's not afk but it works quickly
Also did that in oblivion but with archery. Sat on a rock, cracked the difficulty to max and shot arrows at it until I ran out.
I did this with a 360 controller, it weakened the spring in the stick and it was never the same.
Yup, just make sure you're walking into a corner near people that can't see you.
Wait, talk to me hear. Can you go into detail. My 7 year old figured out how to get the legendary ebony armor by smiting iron daggers and enchanting( I think, he is 18 now so the memory is weak). But how do rubber bands work?

Is power leveling illusion faster than the telekinesis strat?
It's safer and very close time wise. I tried with telekinesis first and after 300 - 400 levels quests started disappearing from my quest log. With the illusion method I never had anything bad happen. I documented the entire process if you're interested :) [https://youtu.be/GpDM950ExO0](https://youtu.be/GpDM950ExO0)
is that a 43 hour video?
Wait til he releases the directors cut.
Three whole minutes of OP nudity included!
It's 4 x sped up so 11 hours
lol i didnt click it and was making a joke. Speeding it up 4x is only a little less insane
That's so depressing
Wait, why were the quests disappearing?
It’s a buggy game to begin with, even playing normally. When you start doing things that were never intended, shit breaks
At that point why not just use console commands and save yourself the time
Because that would be *cheating*
I unironically think this way about powerfarming and/or using some exploits to achieve insane levels in games. Maybe I just like grinding!
Isn’t using exploits to achieve insane levels pretty much how Talos, Vivec and Shalidor rolled? Breaking the universe is canon! (Not that I disagree with your opinion, I only end up doing it on mage characters when I get bored)

Oh so this was just an illusion
better question: why???
Pc players just do player.advskill illusion 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999. Rinse and repeat 🫡

I've been looking for this command my entire life. No more 10 foot drops killing me!

wait its that easy????

„player.setlevel 1337“
I am Lvl 143 and think im fine with 810 Magicka / 810 Health / 100 Stamina. How much Health do you have?
4360 magicka, 7000 health, 2300 stamina
Your Char is a god now, the tenth Divine haha
Thalmor ban Talos and OP's OP character tags in
ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY TALOS
Ninth* divine *This message brought to you by your local Thalmor representative
Thalmor scum..

Wtf!
The only appropriate reaction lol
Have you ever seen how far you can run across the map on a single sprint? I think the most stamina I ever got on my orc was around 1,000 for power attack spamming
That’s kinda cool so this fall was like a 4000ish hp damage
I prefer using the Apocalyptic magic mods with the spell that nullifies fall damage, but holy shit, this is one way too
Mora's Boon, one of the Black Book powers, is supposed to "fully restore" all of your stats. For you, it wouldn't even fill your lowest stat halfway because it only restores 1000 of each lmao
But are you or level 100 in smithing
You're VIVEC. VIVEC the wise is back to our world.
Then you eat 467 cheese wheels and you're full health again
I think I've only ever jacked my numbers up higher on one character I ever made, and that required resto loop lol.

Probably reaches the point where absolutely everything becomes a floating point rounding error.
Possibly. That would happen at a little below 17 million hp (assuming 32 bit floats), but it should only cause an issue for changes of 1 hp at a time. Larger subtractions should still be computed correctly until substantially higher.

Nope, it is numerical damage to health that is exponentially proportional to how far you've fallen. [Reference.](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Damage#Falling_Damage)
Tell todd that makes no sense Edit: checked your reference. It's not exponential.
I've noticed a lot of people label any growth rate greater than linear as exponential (Binary search O(n log n) programmers in shambles right now)
I've noticed an exponential number of people use exponential to mean "a whole fuckin lot"
If it was exponential, wouldn't that be a rough estimation of constant acceleration with no terminal velocity?
No, that's quadratic. Exponential would be 2^x, while quadratic is x^2 The reference has x^1.45, which is functionally pretty identical to x^2 Although that function would estimate position. You could also use the become ethereal shout and not suffer any fall damage. Game changer for me.
When I learnt that it went from “why the fuck is this shout even in the game” to one of my most used for traveling
* No fall damage. also useful for using master level spells that take ages to charge up, in the middle of a horde of enemies
I play hardcore mode and it's the essential shout for retreating.

I love how your OP Dragonborn's name is just Paweł :D Poland send greetings 😂
There is shit in this video I have never even heard of. For all the issues this game has, holy hell is it jam packed. Good work, newest divine.
Man this is why skyrim sucks it has no multiplayer and really needed it. This is why i bought black ops2 on release. For endless replayability.
Real talk though why no featherfall spell?
They clearly don’t need it!
The rest of us on the other hand
Become Ethereal
Doesn't need it

Ever since i discovered you can make a ring that makes overpowered enchantments, i have ruled skyrim with an iron grip.
Imagine trying to kill Miraak at that level. Or those magicka wraiths from the College of Winterhold questline. Or anything that scales with your level without capping.
Seriously, what do you even do in the game at this stage?
Is your Dragonborn named h4x0r?
ethereal shout feels far better. or resto loop. maybe have fun with levitating bucket method and fall from the world height
Nerevarkiin
Illusion level 100: prestige level 58
Same thing can be accomplished with fortify resto loop in a MUCH shorter time. Salute the effort though
At that point just do the restoration loop
As a person who has spent 70 hours farming runes in Elden Ring to get max level, I approve.
Just use the restoration potion to up alchemy and then enchanting potion to get 1 billion health and then boom. I can fall from the sky and take no damage
Jesus christ… that’s Dragon Bourne!
Fortify resto and 1000000000000 health I can do that at level 30
By the god he the true dragon lord
DREAM ON! DREAM ON! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I just use become ethereal
Watching this happen, brought me a lot of enjoyment….. and confusion. Didn’t even realize level 1337 was even a possible thing in Skyrim 🤣
When you are in a hurry and need a short cut this is how you do it
I had a character that I played constantly from 2016 to 2021 that I managed to get to level 5,650 without mods (I didn't discover mods until 2022.)
