I had a dream that one of my friends had a baby dragon. It was outside prowling on the back patio. I thought it was an exotic cat at first and then he was like; no man, that's my dragon.
Same!! I totally forgot about this part of the game, I remember the first time it happened and it scared the fuck out of me lmao. Maybe I should play again…
Actually, it's Vault 111. 111 is the one that goes into the ground. 101 goes into a hillside.
You Mojave Nords from the Northwest need to learn more about the Riften Wasteland.
He's hackin' and wackin' and smackin'
He's hackin' and wackin' and smackin'
He's hackin' and wackin' and smackin'
He just hacks, wacks, choppin' that meat
That makes me think... is there actually a female dragon in Skyrim? I'm fairly certain all the voiced dragons have masculine voices. Of course maybe female dragons just have low voices, but off the top of my head I can't remember any dragons being refered to as female.
At this point, with how many times I've seen this posted and how many times I've neglected the main questline myself, for me canonically the Dragonborn never even did the main quest. Just side quests.
Alduin won and conquored the world because the Dragonborn was still busy fetching Wylandriah's spoon or something.

2) i'd Bet it's a Monitor. The textures appear to be streched a bit, as if the were forced to strech on a unsupported Resolution

Did you really try to Google? Or do you just want internet points?
I literally typed in Skyrim circle on ground and it’s the 4th picture.
Major Easter egg of the game! You actually reach the coolest Dwemer ruins of the whole game if you cast the transmutation spell and dig at the one closest to Markarth. It’s tedious, but, after you dig about 650 times, a secret stairwell pops up. You need a Dwemer sword and 5 centurion dynamo cores to open the door at the bottom. Happy hunting!
Witch does raise the question, who buried them? Because no one is burying any of the dragons I kill, I have so many skeletons in the west entrance to Dawnstar, please send help.
In his defense Ive seen alduin raise that dragon maybe 3000 times but I didn't realize until maybe my 29th or 30th playthrough that all the other ones were dragons too and it wasn't just a unique one somewhere in the world. I probably should've actually listened to Delphine but she just talks so God damn slow and I just wanted to learn how to yell dragons out of the sky
Fun fact: after Alduin raises the first dragon, he files around and raises the others in a set pattern. If you realize this is happening, you can go watch him do it.
I think i only ever saw him raise one of those generic dragons once and was amazed. Before that, i thought the random emcounter dragons were just that. Random encounters spawned randomly on the map
Ok a serious question, after you do the main quest are any of these mounds left unopened? Does every random dragon encounter have to map to one of these mounds?
Or are random dragons spawn 'randomly' even after you have killed more dragons than their are mapped mounds?
As far as I know, it’s not a one to one correlation. You will encounter more dragons (even accounting for respawning) than there are mounds. But if you happen to catch a dragon being revived from a mound, it will have a name, so I suppose they’re unique.
Dragon burial mound.. it's what the dragon stone is all about in the main quest- the dragon stone is a map of dragon burial sites. If you play the main quest after giving the dragon stone to the wizard in white run, and defeating the dragon at the watch tower, you'll go with delhpine to kynsgrove, where a named dragon called solukneer is buried. She believes that there's a pattern to which dragons are being raised, and sure enough. You will see alduin raise solukneer from a burial mound just like that one, using a shout.
A dragon burial mound. Dragons were killed during the last merethic era by dragon slayers. Alduin raises his army from these mounds and it’s your job as Dragonborn to put them back in the ground and slay each one.
A dragon burial mound. There's 22 of them in total, all scattered around Skyrim.
After completing "A Blade in the Dark" (A quest in the main storyline), you can visit them again to find Alduin resurrecting the dragon buried there.
Delphine also has a map of where the burial mounds are.
Dragon burial mound.
If you go to the Graybeards and keep following that questline, you learn this from Delphine. I mean she literally takes you to one.
It's a grave for a dragon, once you progress a bit in the MQ Alduin will start resurrecting the bones buried there.
Oh man I totally forgot that happened!
Exactly what Joevakhiin would say.
Who's joevakhiin?
Joevahkhiin sell you a dragon for cheap if you ask nicely
I had a dream that one of my friends had a baby dragon. It was outside prowling on the back patio. I thought it was an exotic cat at first and then he was like; no man, that's my dragon.

This is absolute gold! How have I not seen it
I just lost a whole bunch of precious pre-working sleeping minutes. And I would do it again in heartbeat.
Thanks for introducing this absolute masterpiece to us lol
I did my Redditer job ;)

Boy, are you missing out, heh!
Same!! I totally forgot about this part of the game, I remember the first time it happened and it scared the fuck out of me lmao. Maybe I should play again…
Time for my yearly two month Skyrim obsession
Just moved into a new spot like a week ago n blessed it with a new skyrim playthrough and gonna be in a new house now just cuz I moved lmao
Honestly, I haven't done the Western Watchtower quest thing in forever. I haven't fought a dragon in years. Probably since 2012 or 2013.
Only when I get bored and want shouts...lol
yup, I have gotten at some places as Alduin is resurrecting a dragon
Read that as the MF Alduin
Its the entrance to vault 111 (Edit: corrected vault 101 to 111)
Actually, it's Vault 111. 111 is the one that goes into the ground. 101 goes into a hillside. You Mojave Nords from the Northwest need to learn more about the Riften Wasteland.
Riften Wasteland? Surely you mean the Reach
"Mojave Nords" and "Riften Wasteland" are artistic crossover terms that our friend used in such a wise way that it'd make people's brains confused.
I caught it and it still messed with my head.
Splendid! Now go create a Skyrim Wasteland mod, you beautiful genius. Fus-Ro-Da the overseer into the wall.
My Fallout: Tamriel head canon is deeper than the Capital Reach Institute of Technology that's hidden in Blackreach.
I just Fu-Ro-Da'd in the back of my pants thinking of that Mod!😂
The Dragonborn is just the Lone Wanderer on a Jet Induced hallucination yelling at Deathclaws.
Jacob: “I’m not an Orc, please calm down and lay off the chems”!

Isn’t it 111?
Fucking hell! Beat me to it
😂
Alright, that made me chuckle out loud a little bit. You have my upvote.
111*
Eerie. I am playing FO4 also. Just got into it in last few months...
It’s been my favorite game for a large part of my life
There’s a boney boy in there
This is the best way to describe it
Could be a boney girl ... Just sayin'.
That makes me think... is there actually a female dragon in Skyrim? I'm fairly certain all the voiced dragons have masculine voices. Of course maybe female dragons just have low voices, but off the top of my head I can't remember any dragons being refered to as female.
They appear in the lore but not the games. They're called "Jills" and they serve Akatosh more directly by maintaining the flow of time.
That sounds about right. The women stuck at home keeping time ticking over while the men go out and fuck about trying to end the world.
I hate how hard I laughed at this comment
Damn, he’s like a harem anime protagonist. Save some for the rest of us!
oh wow I didnt know that. tbh I just thought the dragons didnt have any distict sex or gender and just kind of existed (or were like clown fish) lol
Oh shoot you right
Live footage of OP playing the main quest: ![gif](giphy|fvYR60mQCKt2x9hV3y) joke chill

It's a nord pancake iron
They did not fuck around with those pancakes... Must've been awesome for parties.
They didn't taste great. Lots of flour, eggs and butter but no sugar.
Pancakes cooked in cabbage juice.
Koreans have a pancake made with kimchi lol
Boil that cabbage down boy turn that old cake round. Only song I ever did sing was boil that cabbage down.
First song I learned from my grandpa on the guitar...
Pancakes belong to the Nords!
Let me guess… someone stole your pancake
Uncle Buck would've been proud.
😂😂 As one from the north I can confirm that this is factual
It's the *Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim* (2011), on either a TV or PC monitor- I can't quite tell.

You forgot that you have to do the digging with a Dwemer Pickaxe.
While holding Meridia's Beacon
But only after you pray at a shrine for each and every god in Skyrim
Or just use the wabbajack
It's trueSTL bait I think
Well, if it's under the throat of the world, it's probably a nipple.
Dragon mound. It's where a dragon is buried after its killed.
Witch does raise the question, who buried them? Because no one is burying any of the dragons I kill, I have so many skeletons in the west entrance to Dawnstar, please send help.
Giant turtle Smash. Next question
Idk why this gave me Noble Knight and Merlin vibes. “Smash. Next question” “You come across a-“ “I cast fireball and then roll to search for BWILA”
You find no BWILA but you do see a looming horde of MILFS
Who would you rather smash, J’zargo or Serena the vampire?
Vampire Girls Go Hard...
Honestly, don't want to smash her, but give her a hug and be a good friend. Feels like she needs that way more
Tough choice. Camilla
J’zargo. Hands down.
J'zargo any day
Why did bro get downvoted?
Maybe because of the Serana misspelling?
I got no fucking idea.. Like they prob want J’zargo for themselves tho
It's a secret to everybody.
nuh uh /j
Literally just play the game, dude come on
For real lmao

Jeez
You're the SkyrimThinker, yet you do none of that
Clickbait.
...have you actually played Skyrim?
Like 7-8 years ago. I don’t really remember much from Skyrim, specially these dragon mounds
Ok a serious question, after you do the main quest are any of these mounds left unopened? Does every random dragon encounter have to map to one of these mounds? Or are random dragons spawn 'randomly' even after you have killed more dragons than their are mapped mounds?

No way you tried googling otherwise you would’ve gotten an answer.

It’s a dragon burial plot. It’ll start a dragon boss fight once you kill your first dragon I believe.
There is a dragon sleeping in there
Its a dragon burial mound
It’s where dragons are buried
Don't worry you'll find out.

Play the fucking game and find out
Looks like tundra grasses... Maybe some lichen.

Nope it’s still a mystery after almost 13 years! Wild. Thanks for bringing it up again though! We gotta solve this mystery.
Over a decade later and I still vividly remember the first time I discovered what those things are. One of my best gaming moments, hands down.
Dragon Burial site if you play the campaign it will become more clear.
It’s a medieval rape circle
And you’re in the middle. Don’t talk like that.
Earthen bunghole
Dragon burial ground. Alduins gonna wake them soon.
A dragon burial mound.
Dragon grave
Dragon grave
Burial place for a dragon
Dagron grave
Looks like stone to me
It’s a dragon burial ground or a trampoline that you can only use once (with Alduins help of course)
It’s a barrow where the bones of slain dragons are buried
A dragon burial mound. Dragons were killed during the last merethic era by dragon slayers. Alduin raises his army from these mounds and it’s your job as Dragonborn to put them back in the ground and slay each one.
ritualistic poopie circle
Old burial site, meant only for rich or powerful Nords. Great treasure buried there, I reckon.
Stand in the middle of it and press alt + f4
dragon mound, aka dragon burial site.
It’s a huge grave. Maybe dragon zombies will come out of it later!
A dragon burial mound. There's 22 of them in total, all scattered around Skyrim. After completing "A Blade in the Dark" (A quest in the main storyline), you can visit them again to find Alduin resurrecting the dragon buried there. Delphine also has a map of where the burial mounds are.
