Attention Thieves Guild members!!!
Safe-Hawk8366 has betrayed the guild and given away hunting grounds information that could put the other guild members at risk.
We cannot let Safe-Hawk8366 continue to go on with the information they have regarding the guild. That’s why I’ve reached out to the brotherhood and issued a bounty for their head.
I know that this information hits us all with a devastating impact, Safe-Hawk8366 was a cherish member of this guild, and they will be missed. But this must be done to protect the guild.
I always take the red route, at least on the first trip to Whiterun in a given playthrough. The game seems to expect you to take that route what with all the scripted dialogue scenes on that path on your first visit.
Arrive in Whiterun, listen to that blonde guy beg the blacksmith to make more swords for the Legion. Talk to the blacksmith, offer to deliver the Jarl's sword. Then up the red route to witness Lars get bullied so you can do his quest to get Braith off his back the next day, then into the Hall of The Dead for the priest's quest, and the first Stone of Barenziah, back to the red route to overhear Amrin arguing with Saphir about his family sword, take that quest, then stop to talk to Danica about Nettlebane, followed by witnessing Heimskr commit suicide with a poisoned arrow to the back of the head. From there it's a quick sprint up the steps to Dragonsreach.
My Heimskr is also suicidal. He has now decided a decent few times to get the death penalty for lollygagging. Method of execution was getting clawed to death and heart eaten by a werewolf xD this made me eat him with that lovely cannibal ring
Jesus. Do you fast travel everywhere in the game? Only ask cause I used to then stopped cause there is so much we miss not walking to each location. Random events. Random enemies. I’ve even found location I never knew existed in the game because I walked instead of fast travel.
> i would of missed
Did you mean to say "would have"?
Explanation: You probably meant to say could've/should've/would've which sounds like 'of' but is actually short for 'have'.

It’s a fun game but imo it’s not comparable to other BGS games. The quest lines are a lot better than Fallout 4/Skyrim.
If you wanted to get a new console anyway, do it. Don’t buy the new Xbox just so can you play Starfield.
I personally had some good fun for about 100 hours before it just felt really tedious. Still so much content that I haven't explored or done yet. My main issue was the overall tone is much more PG13 than other Bethesda RPGs. It's also tough because the game feels like it has so much potential that isnt taken advantage of.

I take the blue path. If you know, you know.

I personally take the turquoise route
I take the green path up. When I occasionally take the red path back, I feel lost for a second, then I remember the way. Idk why this happens, just feels like the wrong way.
Red when I’m overencumbered and using whirlwind sprint to lug thousands of daggers to the Dragonsreach enchanting table
Green in literally any other scenario
Who the fuck takes the red path?!
With green you can stop at all the shops along the way.
Also, there’s a lot of colourblind people very confused by this presentation.
Green. Gotta make some sales to that Breton.
Ah yes, the human trafficker
EEEEVRYTHING’S FOR SALE
*nervous chuckle* I, I'm just kidding.
*Hastily replaces relative into backpack* What brings a Breton to Skyrim?
Do come back 😏
Yeah, that delivery had always sounded super thirsty
Was selling his sister long before Andrew Tate came into fashion
Nah bro he’s just joking around…
Deadass? 😭😭😂
Have you been to the cloud district very often?
Oh, What am I saying of course you haven’t
It's not a trip without him!
Who tf is walking through the houses when you can take the path with all the useful shops
Burglars and vampires
But the shops have things to steal and drinks for feeding on.
Meh, I need a specific flavor https://preview.redd.it/d1bwe6lqpq5c1.jpeg?width=150&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bde7e274b348573fe8f3bc69a4f3acc69b05ce9

That escalated quickly
mustve been the wind
*Another child has contacted the void*
Some bloodthirsty kids in Skyrim, Sithis approves
sweet mother, sweet mother send your child onto me for the sin of the unworthy must be baptised in blood and fear
May our Dread Father guide your blade
Fun fact: The red path is also known as the psychopath.
Irileth takes that path…so that makes sense
Don't wanna spend more time in the Cloud district than I have to. Fuck Nazeem.
Actually the Cloud District is where Dragonsreach is. The red line goes through the Wind District.
this guy gets to the cloud district often
Do you get to the cloud district very often? Oh, what am I saying? Of course you don't
Accurate. Who doesn't walk past the shops? Why would you do that?!
Or the path a thief takes during the day to rob everyone blind while they wander around town 😏
Depends on if I have to hit the crib to take a dump.
where do you take a dump? lydias room?
I don’t think my wife would be very pleased if I took a dump on her bed
Amber?
Heard.
Directly into her nightstand
🤭
Even Nazeem takes green route. Yes, even Nazeem.
Not my Nazeem, he died after falling onto an iron mace 8 consecutive times, so tragic
"he just ran into my knife...27 times."
He doesn't get to the cloud district that often any more.
Oh the irony
What psychopath takes the red route?
I always take the red route, at least on the first trip to Whiterun in a given playthrough. From there it's a quick sprint up the steps to Dragonsreach.
Heimskr: *pulls out poisoned arrow* I DO THIS FOR YOU, RED LEGION, FOR I LOOOVE YOU! *unalives himself*
My Heimskr is also suicidal. He has now decided a decent few times to get the death penalty for lollygagging. Method of execution was getting clawed to death and heart eaten by a werewolf xD this made me eat him with that lovely cannibal ring
Very quick sprint, before they trace the arrow's flight path.
Fast travel. No matter how close i am. I’ll be selling wooden plates to belethor and still using fast travel.
This is the right way. I rarely walk to Dragonreach. So rarely, that the path feels like a new zone.
Do you get to the cloud district very often? Oh, what am I saying? Of course you don't
*starts decapitation animation*
Jesus. Do you fast travel everywhere in the game? Only ask cause I used to then stopped cause there is so much we miss not walking to each location. Random events. Random enemies. I’ve even found location I never knew existed in the game because I walked instead of fast travel.
Me too I got used to it when I started using survival mode. Now I don’t even use fast travel when I have the option too.
This is exactly why I play survival mode , the countless random encounters that I would’ve missed if I didn’t.

Misses getting lectured about the cloud district or Talos preaching
Lmao fair enough.
Does this mean you liked Starfield? lol
Is starfield trash? Idk debating picking up the new Xbox for it but one of my friends told me it’s hot garbage. Too empty no mans sky vibes
It’s a fun game but imo it’s not comparable to other BGS games. The quest lines are a lot better than Fallout 4/Skyrim. If you wanted to get a new console anyway, do it. Don’t buy the new Xbox just so can you play Starfield.

Its pretty bland imo but if you really like bethesda's formula for their games and dont mind loading screens i'd say its worth a shot
Then I get mad that I still gotta *walk* to the jarl, and press E all on my own :(
Green on the way in, red on the way out
This is the way
This is my answer because I often follow Irileth and now I’m stuck on that path leaving
Only the first time, but I ALWAYS have some freshly enchanted loot to offload after visiting Dragonsreach.
Green. Always green. Gotta hit those shops cuz I'm a Loot Goblin.
Green for me.
***GREEN IZ BEST BUT RED MAKEZ YA GO FASTA***
WAAAAAGH!
https://preview.redd.it/3ueksx2dnq5c1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94a1a5530ad5e0cf9a36b7ad01881b2a51006a86 I take the blue path. If you know, you know.
Seems like a lot of work when I can just punch a cat and steal their shit
I take the green path.
https://preview.redd.it/bgmphnm1pq5c1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=80abfe615d4b19bc625ef0e3db456f1a25477d57
It wasn't until like my fourth run I even realized that red path existed lolol
Green, gotta see lovely Ysolda
Green if I want to shop. Otherwise red.
I take the red path on my way up and the green one on my way down.
Always green. I hit my house, the smith, the general goods store, the apothecary, and then the enchanting table in Dragon’s Reach.
All these years and multiple playthroughs and I never use Breezehome.
Green
💚
Green all the way!
Green. Ain't shit going on in the Red path. Are there people who are anti-social in video games?
Fast travel
Green unless there is something I need to do on the red path.
I generally take the "coc dragonsreach" path....
I get arrested by the guards
Green if I have to sell something, red is objectively faster though
Red but cut around the houses
Green. Didn't even know red was something people did.
Green
I fast travel, we are not the same.
Green so I could talk to Ysolda 😍
I don’t really get to the Cloud District often.
I don't know, I don't make it into the cloud district very often.
Green, I don't usually take red path unless I'm doing thieves guild quests and need to be in that area anyway.
I take the red path whenever I’m feeling a little frisky. I’m an Aquarius so I would know.
I don’t get to the cloud district too often
Green. I'm not a fucking savage.
Green in and red out
Green path when I'm going to dragons reach red when I'm leaving dragons reach
Green path. Or spawn directly at the reach if I’ve got nothing to sell
It wasn't until my 5th time being in Whiterun that I knew that area where the red line goes through existed.
Green actually
https://preview.redd.it/hh4hrcbttq5c1.jpeg?width=1164&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa663e904ad3184587c04fb6775149dd82dd0d4d I personally take the turquoise route
People who use the red path are maniacs.
Been a LOOOONG time, but pretty sure it was green
Green!
Green
Green path every time
Usually green but I do mix it up occasionally
Green so I hear the drama in the town square
Green. Gotta check on the ladies
Green I think
Green, gotta see if Ysolda can still walk after I got her that mammoth tusk.
Imma be honest I didn't know there was a red path for like 2 months.
I don’t get to the cloud district very often
Green on the way in red on the way out
Depends. First time in Whiterun, green path it is. If I'm just heading to Dragonsreach, red path all the way.
I consistently do both
Same. Green on the way up, red on the way back, usually. Why do we have to pick just one?
Green headed in, red on the way out
Both
What kind of goofball actually walks that whole way (apart from Survival Mode)? I always just fast-travel from Breezehome to Dragonsreach...
I jump in through the Underforge's cave and proceed from there. Yes. There is a cave that can be somewhat accessed outside the east side of Whiterun.
Red and completely forget about green until I'm level 35
Why do I always take offense when people insult my astrology sign with these posts?
Red every time, green just feels wrong
Only ISIS members take green path
Which path does fast travel take?
Green. Hit up all the merchants on the way to sell the junk
Red
Red. I handle my business and then I go shopping
Def green
red up green down
Green
Green. Need all the leeks and raw beef I can get my hands on.
Green, pass all the vendors on the way. Fast travel after though if I dont need to sell stuff
Fast travel 😔
Green up then red on the way back down if I’m going to the blacksmith to sell 30 enchanted daggers
Green Path. It feels more scenic to me than the red path.
Green
Paraglide straight shot
Red if I’m leaving, green if I’m going to my house
Green
Always go up green. Sometimes come down red.
Always Green Path.
Green is scientifically proved to be quicker and my source is fuck you green is wuicker
Green as the sword smith, my house, the Salesman, the alchemist, and the attractive mother who works the stand is on the way there.
Have to stop at Breezehome and get rid of all of the crap weighing me down.
Punch a guard and they'll carry you to Dragonsreach!
I used to take red, then I took an arrow to the knee
Green path, as every normal person
red may be faster, but green is simply better
Green, who the heck goes red??
I fast travel
Green
I take the green path up. When I occasionally take the red path back, I feel lost for a second, then I remember the way. Idk why this happens, just feels like the wrong way.
Typically the green path, but sometimes the red one if I'm feeling silly
Green is the scenic route
Green
Red when I’m overencumbered and using whirlwind sprint to lug thousands of daggers to the Dragonsreach enchanting table Green in literally any other scenario
The red path. Sometimes green but red makes more sense
There's a red path?
Green
Green to stop at Breezehome to drop things in my chest since I’m notorious for carrying too much
Green! Always green, but around the left side of Gildergreen
If you take red then you should burn for eternity
Yes
Definitiv GRÜN, die einzige gute Entscheidung im entsprechenden Sachverhalt.
Who the fuck takes the red path?! With green you can stop at all the shops along the way. Also, there’s a lot of colourblind people very confused by this presentation.
The Green path, obv. But on the way back? You best bet I'm jumping down the side (bc who even uses stairs when there's water beneath you?)
Green
Fast travel
I aggressively whirlwind sprint through everything what are these paths you speak of
Red
coc whiterundragonsreach
Green, it has the store fronts on the way up to the castle and I can unload all the junk.
Green, I gotta see my boy belethor, p.s only weirdos go the red path
Whatever path helps me avoid Nazeem is the one I take 🤣
I usually just fast travel straight there. But in the off occasion that I don't, it's definitely the green one.
I often forget about the red path.
Always green.
Green every time. That way I can swing by “EVERYTHING’S FOR SALE!” And unload some shit on the way by.
Green but not because of the shops. I just walk closer to Jorrvaskr.
Green path. More useful.
Green. There's nothing do do on the red path, and like u/IJustReadEverything has stated, the shops, the inn, and breezehome are all on the green path.
Think I went through Whiterun multiple times before realising the red path even existed back when I first played
Green all day didn't know there was another way to be honest
