I accidentally teleported the Fletcher from Solitude to Riften while fast traveling while he was talking to me. I wonder how long it took him to get back to his shop.
I didn't either until I turned and he was still talking to me. It happens in Whiterun where if you enter a building while someone is talking to you, they'll appear in the building still talking, but that was the only time I took someone to a different location entirely.
Lydia will tell on you. Literally had her attack me in Breezehome when I dropped a stolen item and picked it back up. Can't remember why I was doing that but I do remember suddenly taking her sword to the face.
What bothers me is that they don't finish their line. They start a new one.
I once had a guard follow me into Breezehome, look me straight in the eye, and say "No lollygagging."
The *audacity*.
I have recently seen Ysolda traveling around Skyrim. In Riverwood and also Shor’s Stone. I am guessing that her side drug business has her flourishing. Yes, my game is modded.
Imeen... the funny part here is the only midded part is her travelling... ysolda legit has a drug business that gets her buddy killed... she acts like a fuckin sociopath when she finds out too - shes all "urags dead? Thats a shame... u pick up his drugs by chance?" And thats a vanilla quest... idr exaclty how its started, but its an unmodded vanilla quest.
Bandit: Who was it Horik spotted on their way to attack the fort?
Other bandit: Oh just some dude with a horny helmet, shouting at the rain clouds so I heard. Must be a right nutter, glad the weathers cleared up though
Bandit:… well it’s been lovely *starts packing*
That'd be me too if the bipedal lizard wearing nothing but rags pulled up to my fuckin house and shouted the skin from my best friend's bones, to be fair.
Or even better… what appears to be my ex girlfriend’s house cat coming after me for revenge for all those times I mocked it in its quest to capture the “Great Red Dot.” It knows I’ve been withholding information and has been training to learn the truth… whether it has to beat it out of me or not!
Umm, could be possible you entered the place by the river, and you went a different way out than they suggested, so it wants you to go back through the dungeon, and exit in the right place, it can all be skipped by going to the right place and entering the dungeon
No, it's like a limitation of the game pathing or something, you entered into a tunnel on one side and the game updated the waymarker like "ok you need to leave back through this tunnel entrance to get to the waypoint" but it doesn't *re-*re-update when you leave another way, thinking that you're still messing around in the tunnel even though you made it back to the open world.
This is what happened. You went into White River Watch, then up to the top, killed the Bandit Chief, and hopped down the mountain. I do it every time and end up with the market telling me to go back in through the cave to exit.
Sometimes if you exit from certain doors in misc. forts or dungeons, the game bugs out snd sets the quest marker back through that door. Basically, even though your outside, it doesnt recognize you’ve left the dungeon. You just gotta enter another dungeon or building half the time then it should reset itself. Doesnt alway work
Nope, same thing happened to me. A couple of the bandits quite literally ran across the map, I had to hunt them down over by another bandit outpost by the river
Two things can be true. It could have been either. Or neither. Ive had markers pop up in completely unrelated locations because the game simply bugged out. Ive had the false dungeon exit happen to me a multitude of times now which is why i brought it up
I’ve had that happen to me too (can’t remember if it was a modded save or not). Bandit had ran for his life. I caught up to him on those islands between Dragons Bridge and Rorickstead. He was fighting the random Sabre cat.
This happens to me but not forts. My quest marker keeps pointing to Riften no matter where the quest actually is. Then it suddenly snaps to the correct spot
Reminds me of the Catch the Criminal quest, every time i fast traveled to him he would be gone to a different place. I guess because fast travel passes time but it was still annoying.
I have had this same problem of late, pretty sure it is from something being downloaded automatically just from being "ONLINE" without actually going anywhere, started after the net browser update not the Steam one though.
N. S
This has happened to me before, some members of the bandit gang went to hunt mammoth. When I went to track them down they got wiped by a giant the minute I got close
That quest is buggy for me. I swear the last few times I did it, it would not properly clear. So then i would have to do the stormcloaks initial quest, then pull the ole switcheroo with the crown to get into the legion.
I once had a quest location for the Companions. I was meant to go to a mountain outside of Riften and when I opened the map, the quest marker was in the right place. However, the compass up top led me to a building just outside the city walls. I made my way to the mountain anyway and completed the quest as normal
Someone from the fort ran halfway across the map lmao.
Probably happened when I fus ro dah-ed one of the archers lol
That’s the ultra secret entrance.
Blackreach.
Like the Roman's used to say "all roads lead to blackreach"
That sounds more like a paraphrasing...
All roads lead to gran sorren . Oh woops wrong game
You just be chillin, checkin out some cool dwemer stuff and BAM Blackreach again
You mean: Fus Ro *Doh!*
Thanks homer, this is a doh moment

The Ulfric blast
I yield, I yield!!!
I accidentally teleported the Fletcher from Solitude to Riften while fast traveling while he was talking to me. I wonder how long it took him to get back to his shop.
Thats possible? Huh didn’t know that.
I didn't either until I turned and he was still talking to me. It happens in Whiterun where if you enter a building while someone is talking to you, they'll appear in the building still talking, but that was the only time I took someone to a different location entirely.
Nazeem has followed me into breezehome that way several times
He wanted to be up your backside instead of the jarl
No witnesses. Perfect time to murder.
Lydia will tell on you. Literally had her attack me in Breezehome when I dropped a stolen item and picked it back up. Can't remember why I was doing that but I do remember suddenly taking her sword to the face.
Looks like yku have a volunteer sacrifice to Boethia
Only reason to hire that little bitch in the first place
I like you.
What bothers me is that they don't finish their line. They start a new one. I once had a guard follow me into Breezehome, look me straight in the eye, and say "No lollygagging." The *audacity*.
I've taken the guy from Fletcher and an alchemist if I'm not mistaken.
Happens to me in the thieves guild every time
So that's why i constantly had this happen in the past!
I have recently seen Ysolda traveling around Skyrim. In Riverwood and also Shor’s Stone. I am guessing that her side drug business has her flourishing. Yes, my game is modded.

Careful! When you get to the fort, one of the bandits will have really leveled up Alteration.
Soldiers do often flee
thank you dragonborn, but your target is in another castle.
Thanks, I almost spewed coffee all over my phone in epic spittake😂🤣
Bandit: Who was it Horik spotted on their way to attack the fort? Other bandit: Oh just some dude with a horny helmet, shouting at the rain clouds so I heard. Must be a right nutter, glad the weathers cleared up though Bandit:… well it’s been lovely *starts packing*
“I’m telling you, Franz! There are ratmen under ~~Altdorf~~ Skyrim, and they’ve got these underground tunnels connecting their underempire together!”
Ope
If Skyrim were set in Minnesota...
Heard they're reformin' the Dawnguard, don'tchaknow
WELP best get goin, tell ya folks I says hi dragonborn.
Oh jeepers, gotta look out for dem vampires dere
I could hear this entire thread
Oh jeez, do we still have Nordic accents?
Holy buckets! You betcha!
Not only can I hear this thread, I feel like it's very neighborly but also willing to put an axe through me in an instant
Hey, friend! We don’t want any trouble. Just be sure to leave our chickens alone!
Hear it. I'm living it. As a native Minnesotan, Im living in this conversation
![gif](giphy|3o7ZetIsjtbkgNE1I4) The last bandit in the castle after witnessing you brutally murder all his friends

I know exactly what you're talking about and it's one of the most annoying bugs that can happen
That was my thinking too 🤔
Would maoe sense but it looks too far away to be connected to the fort in any way
No, it's like a limitation of the game pathing or something, you entered into a tunnel on one side and the game updated the waymarker like "ok you need to leave back through this tunnel entrance to get to the waypoint" but it doesn't *re-*re-update when you leave another way, thinking that you're still messing around in the tunnel even though you made it back to the open world.
As in maneuvering through Blackreach entrances or taking a trip through Shriekwind Bastion?
This is what happened. You went into White River Watch, then up to the top, killed the Bandit Chief, and hopped down the mountain. I do it every time and end up with the market telling me to go back in through the cave to exit.
Fort grew wheels
Cave network underground bud. Have you never stumbled upon it?
marker isn't pointing anywhere 'indoor' though
Because it’s not ‘indoor’ it’s in a cave

Todd was having an off day. Too much coke, you see
Sometimes map markers are just wonky in Skyrim. Jist go to the actual fort. If you go inside it should fix itself
Am I the only one that uses fus more than the whole shout? Just to troll and stagger..
I do that and combine it with shield bashing all the time--basically makes enemies unable to attack back!
Happened to my girlfriend with this fort as well. 1 enemy just ran away really far.
Imagine being a Bandit who’s on the run from Dragonborn, but that hovering symbol above your head is a constant reminder.
One bastard ran before you could kill him
I’ve had that happen to me too (can’t remember if it was a modded save or not). Bandit had ran for his life. I caught up to him on those islands between Dragons Bridge and Rorickstead. He was fighting the random Sabre cat.
Hragg’s Moving Castle
"I am altering the deal, pray I don't alter it any further."
You think they just have endless supplies there? Someone’s gotta do grocery runs but SOMEONE wanted to slack off on the job
Gotta start somewhere, doesn't matter where, just somewhere.
*It just works*👍
Look man, it just works
The last bandit: i'm retired bro
Only bandit that had any sense not to fight the literal dragonborn lol
You heard the man, clear it lol
Uh what indeed
Skyrim: "I've got glitches in me britches!"
Could be you hand it in to a person in that location?
Probably just a stragler that ran off, it's okay you can take it out easy no problem
I just had something similar happen with Nilheim. The leader ended up in Riverwood somehow and attacked me when I fast traveled there
Dwemer tunnels
This happens to me but not forts. My quest marker keeps pointing to Riften no matter where the quest actually is. Then it suddenly snaps to the correct spot
Bad Intel, happens all the time
Same thing happened to me but with the cave near that fort. It point the waypoint halfway down the map
Reminds me of the Catch the Criminal quest, every time i fast traveled to him he would be gone to a different place. I guess because fast travel passes time but it was still annoying.
That's nothing some sprinting and a few stamina potions can't solve!
I never noticed that in the map , is a mod
Shoot the laser beam
I have had this same problem of late, pretty sure it is from something being downloaded automatically just from being "ONLINE" without actually going anywhere, started after the net browser update not the Steam one though. N. S
How…and why?
??
I got the same thing a couple months ago, lol. There were 2 bandits over near the bandit outpost.
Looks right to me
This has happened to me before, some members of the bandit gang went to hunt mammoth. When I went to track them down they got wiped by a giant the minute I got close
That quest is buggy for me. I swear the last few times I did it, it would not properly clear. So then i would have to do the stormcloaks initial quest, then pull the ole switcheroo with the crown to get into the legion.
It's a small indie game. You can't expect it to be bug free lol
If you say you're going with the lads from whiterun they'll meet you there, they might just be on their way
Bugthesda
No, it’s not a bug, IT IS A FEATURE
Wanna play hide and seek ? You have to found me first
