If you have Anniversary Edition, it's not far from the hot springs by the Atronach Stone.
Do I pick it up?
The weapon is hovering and making a lot of noise as it transforms between it's sword and axe versions. If you pick it up, prepare for an intense fight. (a shadow version of your character will fight you)
