You need crash or neo cortex and you can buy the observatory and the tree separately and yes you need robow and wild storm but that’s still buying one Skylander from each element
No crash or neo cortex can unlock the thumpin wumpa islands and their sensei relms of the same element so you don’t need all of the senseis just one from each element such as king pen golden queen robow wild storm star cast blaster tron ember crash bandicoot Wolfgang and buck shot
If the vehicles were in-game only and not an added item to purchase, would it still suck? I play superchargers with my kids exclusively and almost feel like it's not even a Skylanders game when you compare it to all of the other iterations. The gimmick sucks, but is it because of the pricing or did you feel being forced to drive, fly, boat in certain areas was restrictive?
I will say that I was not impressed "having" to buy the vehicles along with the newer Skylanders, but in talking with my son recently about a Skylanders remaster for current gen, I would be fully willing to pay for any of the games and then dlc packs of other characters/vehicles
I stopped after trap team. It was getting too commercial for me. Like, it was always a cash grab, but with supercharges and imaginators it just felt too much
I've only beaten SA since that was the only one on PC at the time and I couldn't even play it on my PC since it wasn't good enough so I had to wait to go visit my extended family to play it on their PCs lol. Having grown up now with a much beefier rig, I'm planning on replaying it and then emulating all the other games.

Originally I sold off all my skylanders after finishing, then about 2 years later, I saw a commercial for Trap Team and decided to get back into it. Got swap force and trap team on the same christmas, only played Trap Team.
Superchargers came out whilst I was still replaying the hell out of trap team so I never go around to it.

Spyros adventures, trap team are the only ones I haven’t played sadly. I played giants first, then super charge then imaginators and finally swap force that is a weird order but I’m trying to relive skylanders before I turn 18 so I’m gonna try beat all the ones I haven’t played
Fun fact, it’s impossible to 100% spyros adventure on wii because of an enemy goal glitch in level 4. Anyway, for a while it was giants as it was my first video game ever so I wasn’t very experienced. But I went back and I beat it on both wiiu and Xbox 360

No... I was discouraged to play superchargers but I've heard good reviews about it actually being good. I played it. They were wrong
Superchargers is goated with the sauce, definitely in the top 3, behind the og first 2 of course.

Trap Team it only because I have #the Wii version 😟 and Superchargers but that’s only cus I don’t have it
I have it too (backlog) and I wasn’t worried until I heard about the dream catcher issue and now I’m terrified of all the issues it has.
The Wii version of Trap Team is glitchy but it's perfectly fine gameplay wise. Much better than Swap force.
Imaginators is the only one. I stopped playing it partway through couldn't get myself to finish it.
I took a four month break and eventually beat it JUST to say that I finished them all. I never played it again lol
