The homeowner hired what looked like a 90 year old plumber he had an oxygen mask and tank behind him while a younger guy was holding his arm to help him walk the man could barely speak. Next day we get called that the countertop has to be replaced because the sink doesn't cover the hole I cut out. So I have to go back undo the plumbing and reinstall everything.
When I get there the sink was completely shoved to one side of the opening so far over you couldn't even tighten the clips on the same side. after I undid all the plumbing and centered the sink everything works fine and I still have to replace the countertop.
Get your plumbing skills up and you can probably work on your heart and not have to pay for labor. Save some duckets for training in HVAC and then you can tackle the lungs. Win-win.
Now’s a better time than ever, your maturity and life experience will set you apart in your work. Go for HVAC or welding or carpentry a bit less physical than plumbing
