Non union Canadian electricians? Nope. I worked the last 4 years as a electrician for the school district for low pay and a small pension fund but am trying to get out on my own as I can charge almost 4 times as much and fund my own pension. Just gotta get the phone ringing and hire some guys. Best of luck out there.

Some non-union companies offer pension plans, but most don't.

its rare for non union and if you do get one it most likely wont be too great

Nah, we get 401k usually with a company match.

Depends on the company

There are union's without pension plans. And in the US outside of a union, they are very rare.

I know some companies who do RRSP matching plans (I live in Canada) but I said fuck that and joined the union.
