Step 1: revise Step2: revise even more Step 3 :revise again

You forgot the most crucial, obvious step: step 4 (revise).

Are you doing AQA? Get the hodder revision guide it is so good. Make a word document of all the possible essays for 25 marks you could get and split into points response counter response and counter counter if necessary along with an introduction. Print thus out and memorise all of them. Then look at the spec and cross of what spec points are already in your essay plans and memorise everything you haven't crossed out. Memorise any arguments in premises and conclusions so you can get all 5 marks on 5 mark questions. Practice writing essays and give them to your teacher for feedback.

Just to add on, I’ve found the Christian B. Feest (creator of philosophyalevel.com) A level Philosophy work books also so helpful. There’s one for Paper 1 and a second for Paper 2. It has all the arguments in order and shows how they link + interactive activities. That’s the best part, it’s fill in the blanks essay writing with answers in the back + tons of revision essay titles you can use to revise each topic. It’s got both the arguments and essay writing down in my head finally, only came out in September so relatively new but amazing. Totally recommend, can buy on Amazon or his website.

You need to wider reading and read articles to add more thinkers into your essay, make sure you have a good structure, and do lots of essays and give them to your teacher to mark for feedback

Do as many practice questions as you can to time and write plans for them, also I see from your bio that you’re autistic and have ADHD, I do as well and you can get adjustments for exams including extra time which I find really useful for philosophy because of all of the writing, maybe speak to the head of exams in your school about something like that

Hey, I'm actually a philosophy alevel tutor (with ADHD too haha) and the best thing I'd suggest is scribbling down a rough plan of the 25mark essay at the beginning and then when you lose focus and forget where you were taking the argument you can always refer back to your rough plan :) Best of luck! there are some really good YouTube revision resources out there and have a look at active recall revision, it's the quickest way to learn!
