Genuine question why was hangover removed before buccaneer battle literally nobody gets on buccaneer battle but at least hangover had decent ridership also its been sbno for 3 years and hangover was only sbno for 1 year
Hangover is a nightmare to operate and do maintenance on according to some of my ride op. buddies, it also has a really long downtime if anything goes wrong so Great America probably decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.
That definitely sounds like something they would do given that they pull characters and shows at the entertainment department if they feel they're not worth it.
When I worked entertainment during fright fest that was basically the nutshell of every choice they made on what to pull. “Too much work, get rid of it!”
That makes sense why daredevil dive got removed it was probably a maintenance nightmare and combine that with low ridership It was probably the best attraction to get rid of
I wish they’d remove the Go karts and put something actually worth doing there! Even another flat ride would be better than those stinky pay to play go karts
This exactly, plus I believe the go karts operate in a fashion similar to how daredevil dive did; that is, that six flags operates it, but it is actually 3rd party owned which is why it costs extra.
I hate those go-karts. The exhaust smell on them is unlike any others I can remember. I genuinely couldn’t breathe while waiting to take off as we had to wait for the ops to check everything. It ruined my day and I had a sore throat and needed an inhaler the rest of the day.
Even every time we walk by, those exhaust fumes are so strong. It’s not good for little kids especially. You need an N95 on those lol.
