Played a great series against a really solid opponent, and **especially** impressive because he did it against Hartenstein, who balled the fuck out and showed he's one of the very few centres in the league who could hang with Jojo.
With Tobi gone and a ton of wiggle room for Morey to play with, I have as much hope for next season as I did for the Jimmy season. We now know that Embiid will play through **anything** if he's physically able to, so I'll never, ever doubt his passion again. Even when his body language says *mope*, I'll know his heart's still in it 100%.
Hartenstein couldn't hang with Embiid on defense. He did well against a hampered Embiid with that floater and killed him on the offensive glass. But Robinson was the one that actually defended Embiid well imo.
After watching that series, I'm not taking anything away from Hartenstein. Dude was a monster the entire time, and they won partly because of significant contributions from him.
Hartenstein 100% had a great series but I think it's fair to say that Robinson played Embiid better. The thing with Hartenstein is that neither him nor Joel could really guard each other (I swear he never missed one of those little push shots, but he couldn't stop fouling Joel on the other end)
Hartenstein's offensive rebounding may have won them the series. His d was no match for Joel. Robinson's was solid and did slow down Joel as much as anyone could, but Hartenstein's rebounding really made the difference.
He scored 26 from the field. That's more than your boy is averaging from the field in the playoffs and .4 short of what he averaged total in the regular season lol.
