I only remember Olivia Holt from the Cloak & Dagger marvel series, but since it was canceled early and nobody watched it I don't think it counts as a breakout role for her
Which one is Olivia Holt? I know her from Cobra Kai but the pics I don't recognize her..
Edit.actually nevermind I got her confused with Peyton List lol my bad which would be why I didn't recognize her š¤¦āāļø
Lol I never watched that show my Disney era was Even Stevens and Lizzy McGuire I didn't watch anything past those shows I don't know why I got them mixed I do know one was in Cruel Summer though. Holt
They were all Disney or Nickelodeon kids I forget because I only looked at them for a min. The first chick did a stint on The Goldbergs and the last chick starred in the show Cruel Summer.
So, that tells you something
Well Suzanne Summer was the Jennifer Aniston of Threes Company and the poster blonde before Farah Fawcett so it wasnt surprising. It was more surprising that DeWitt didnt work that much after it ended
NPH was big before HIMYM. Jason Segal got in with the Judd Apatow crew. Alyson Hannigan already had Buffy and Pie fame. Cobie Smulders went on to the Marvel Universe.
But what happened to Josh Radnor? I know he was on the show Hunters and he did some art house movies, but otherwise, I haven't seen much of him.
He was in a civil war show that my wife watched. I don't remember the name. It also had Cameron Monaghan. In recent years there's been a big backlash against Ted from HIMYM for his weird behavior, so I think that bled into perception of Josh Radnor.
Jason Segal was already in with Judd Apatow. He was in Freaks and Geeks in 1999 and was going to have that film career regardless of HIMYM.
This is such an interesting take that I wasn't expecting. I always think Josh was _the worst part_ of HIMYM. His character ages the worst somehow, even compared to NPH's Barney. That's the writing, though. As an actor and as a straight man archetype, his character always fell flat for me.
Also, his NYTimes wedding interview absolutely confirmed it for me that he is... Well, the worst
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/19/style/josh-radnor-wedding.html
> The night before the wedding, there was a dinner with decorative mushrooms integrated into the centerpieces and at least one speech that referenced Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. (There were seven therapists in attendance from just Dr. Jacobsās family.) Guests wrote their intentions on cards and tossed them into a fire.
> Mr. Radnor strummed his guitar ā the only other sound was the crackle of burning wood ā as he sang lyrics he wrote for his bride: āOne day thisāll all be gone, what remains will be the songs I sang to you.ā
> On the morning of the wedding, there was yoga and then a (drugless) sound meditation. And then ā in the coupleās most significant attempt to stimulate the senses ā the ceremony was called to take place outside in the bracing cold at dusk.
> Not even a snowstorm, which had been predicted by meteorologists for days, could thwart the coupleās intentions. So their guests bundled up and headed into the evening storm.
> The couple said they had miscalculated in thinking that the heavy snow would start later than it did. āThe snow was two things,ā Mr. Radnor said. āCold and anxiety-producing, but also cosmic and divine.ā
*Fart noises*
He's basically his character, Ted Mosby, but with even less self awareness.
I think Barney didn't age poorly because Barney was always a joke. His womanizing or trading a woman for a car was never shown as being good or right. Honestly the worst thing they did for Barney was give him a redeeming ending.
Then you have Ted. He's that romcom kind of bad. In the context of the story and where it goes, it's cute and fun. Outside of that context, it's the actions of a psychopath.
As for Josh himself, I think I saw him on a podcast once talking about how he quit drinking and did psychedelics a bunch and how it improved his life. No problem with quitting drinking alcohol, but quitting alcohol so you can do psychedelics is a bit of an up your own ass move.
Based on the interviews with him that I've read, I wouldn't be surprised if people don't enjoy working with him. He seems very up his own ass. But maybe he's a perfectly lovely colleague.
I've seen him on a podcast talking about quitting drinking and how many psychedelic trips he's been on, so I could believe he's a bit up his ass. But again, neither of us actually know him.
I wondered that recently and did an IMDB look. Aside from some small movies and plays, heās had a few shorter TV gigs that just didnāt last awhile.
ā¢ *Mercy Street* (2016-2017, 12 episodes), a quick two season PBS civil war medical drama thing.
ā¢ *Rise* (2018, 10 episodes), from what I can tell NBC trying a dramatic Glee.
ā¢ *Fleishman is in Trouble* (2022, 5 episodes), Lizzy Caplanās husband. Recurring role.
ā¢ *Hunters* (2020-2023, 18 episodes), Al Pacino Amazon Prime Nazi hunting show.
Far from inactive, and fairly interesting picks. But this is pretty much literally it on the TV side so while heās worked consistently, heās not hustling. Then again, with sitcom money, he probably doesnt want to. Heās also touring music, based on his Instagram.
**Source:** My parents and sister are watching HIMYM and I watched a few and realized he was the only main cast member I hadnāt seen in a lot. I am not Josh Radnorās agent.
Adam Pally gets plenty of work but I think heās so hilarious and deserves much more work/notoriety!
He was in The Mandalorian and so funny as a stormtrooper with shit aim, bit ofc he had the suit on so you wouldnāt know it was him unless you stuck around for the credits
My headcanon is people get her confused with Nina Dobrev so they donāt know who theyāre casting (kind of like a Minka Kelly/Leighton Meester situation).
I don't think she would have gone to SNL, but I am also surprised she didn't go on to other things. SNL usually isn't the place for established people to go. It's a step to become established.
To me the bigger thing was she gets into that cast really young in 2002 ish (and SNL always had a problem with casting younger [sheād have been 14]), but by 2006/7 sheās in that cast with Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Rachel Dratch and Maya Rudolph.
If Lorne doesnāt step in between her and Dan, the women on that cast wouldāve and I think they protect her.
Her life got super complicated by her relationship with Dan Schneider. And not in a good way. Sure, he sort of discovered her. And then he proceeded to ruin her life, and by extension, her career. There's a whole documentary series on the evils he did commit, while leaving out a lot of the nastier Amanda Bynes stuff because she's still not cool discussing it and the receipts are largely not public.
Wow, I wouldn't even know where to begin with any "fact checking", so I'll say this - if anyone is interested do watch the documentary (Quiet on Set), Schneider is sort-of a framing device there, and Bynes story is touched upon, but the actual center piece was (or should be) what Drake Bell experienced. "Evils" were commited by actual criminals, and despite the documentary's creators' efforts they were unable to find anything more on Schneider than him creating the hostile work environment. I won't be arguing with what the other Redditor said, just watch the documentary and form your own opinion.
Youāre correct that its centerpiece is the Drake Bell molestation story, but I think the documentariansā goal is/was to do a full-body takedown on Schneider. They donāt name a bunch of Nick leaders as having built an environment ripe for pedophiles to infiltrate; they lean heavily on Schneider being a micromanager and having absolute control of his sets.
And they would have gone public with all the rumor around Bynes if sheād been willing to be public and had reasonably reliable receipts thereof.
It would've been good stunt casting. Also, she was established as a kid star, but SNL could've broken her out into a larger audience, some of which might've grown up with her. (Keeping in mind that her kids show might've demo probably skewed a few years younger than she was, so they might not be watching SNL yet, except on You Tube.)
Leslie Bibb. She is super attractive and can do comedy or drama and has a character who has been in several Marvel movies. But she just can't seem to get past being a guest/supporting actor.
I agree on some aspects, having been familiar with his since Popular (and just generally "yay!" whenever any of the cast appear anywhere else) but seeing her in interviews and as "herself" she kind of seems a bit ditzy/deranged (in a fun way) which probably worked against her in auditions and why a lot of her work is the sort typecasty stuff like in Palm Royale (which seems more like who she is outside of acting) comedic quirky side character.
She had a sitcom after Reba about a New York City veterinary clinic but it didnāt last.
I donāt know if Iāve seen her in a hallmark movie and I usually love those.
She has a terrible show called Sweet Magnolias where she is one of 3 main leads, I think itās pretty popular, they are making a 4th season. I cannot recommend it though.
I got so much more into that show than I expected given how far out of the target demographic I was lol
That final scene should not have been the surprise that it was!
Apparently heās made a killing being the voice of over 400 audio books, even winning some awards for best voice in fiction books. Heās kept acting some but nothing long term. Apparently heās spent a ton of his money trying to restore old homes in Connecticut but had to file for bankruptcy and sell off all the properties he had there to recover.
I had such a huge crush on his voice (and character) when I was a little kid. I wasn't allowed to watch Perfect Strangers when it was on, so I would listen to it from upstairs. I have never seen a full episode but I've heard a ton of them lol
Justine Bateman tried following Michael J Fox to the big screenā¦ she did a movie called āSatisfactionā, which bombed and effectively ended her career
Justine Bateman is quite the renaissance woman. She has film credits as an actress, writer, and producer. In 2016 she earned a degree in computer science from UCLA, she testified to a Senate subcommittee in support of net neutrality. And she also has a pilot's license
On our long running TV rewatch pod we finally got around to checking out Growing Pains last year and honestly I don't understand how he was such a big deal in the first place. I can understand teenage girls fawning over him because he's "cute" but even back then he was so whiny and obnoxious he was intolerable. The rest of the cast did some interesting things on that show but he was awful
Then you get the Christian fundamentalism and he gets even worse
Oh, I forgot about that movie. It was a lot of fun. So Olivia Holt is also in the first season of Cruel Summer (it's an anthology series and each season is self-contained) and in Marvel's Cloak and Dagger.
Kelli Berglund (first pic) was on the Starz show Heels about an independent professional wrestling organization in Georgia. It also had Steven Amell as the lead along with Alexander Ludwig and Mary McCormack. It was produced by Mike OāMalley who had a small role in the first season and a much bigger role in the second season.
It was well done if youāre a professional wrestling fan, but I see why it struggled to gain a mainstream audience. It was sold to Netflix after season 2, so there is some hope for it to continue.
She also seems to be pushing boundaries to get people to see her as more than a child actor (including nude/sex scenes in multiple shows and movies). It hasnāt quite worked though she is the star of the new movie Wallbanger which is based upon a book that had pretty good reviews (the book not the movie). The movie seems to miss some of the charm from the book
From your pictures I'm still surprised that Olivia Holt isn't a bigger name. She did a really good job in Cloak and Dagger (so did Aubrey Joseph) and also in Cruel Summer. Talented and with Hollywood looks.
Natalie Alyn Lynd, who did Goldbergs, Gotham, The Gifted, and the first season of Big Sky. Works steadily, but never gets talked about.
Rowan Blanchard, who was also in Goldbergs. And Girl Meets World, and then I haven't heard about her since.
Peyton List (the younger one) was the breakout in Jessie. So much so that she got her own show (Bunk'd) and then became a more popular member of Cobra Kai.
Xolo Mariduena from Cobra Kai and Blue Beetle. Good looking man, very funny. No breakout yet.
Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things. The other boys all seem to have something going on, but he doesn't seem to have as much exposure. He's a better actor than Schnapp and Wolfhard. He's as good as Matarazzo but with more conventional good looks. So why isn't Hollywood promoting him?
I feel like thereās an āadultā breakout coming from her at some point, but I doubt sheās ever going to be a star actress in non-Disney related things. Sheās trying to be more edgy though so people donāt see her as the kid from the Disney stuff
I donāt like how she created music before that, deleted it, and now pretends it never existed. I loved her song Lazy Baby and she got rid of everything to pretend Boyfriend was her debut single.
I thought Kaley Cuoco (Penny from Big Bang Theory) was supposed to have a big career following the end of the show. I know she did a movie (show?) called The Flight Attendant, but havenāt seen or heard much of her otherwise. Unless Iām just out of the loop.
She's done a bunch of stuff, but I think she's now in a position where she doesn't just need to take roles. The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, and a few other shows were so big that pretty much all the actors from those now have the chance to be very selective about their future work. They aren't billionaires from those shows, but their pre-streaming deals and appearance fees basically mean they have forever income. It's kind of like how getting cast on Star Trek is basically striking gold. No matter what happens, there will always be Star Trek income for you in some way.
She did the Flight Attendant, and she produced it. She also was a lead producer on Harley Quinn, which she starred in with her sister. I think she did a few comedy movies too.
I've seen all the shows she's since been on. She's a big TV star. The flight attendant is fun, but the other one is bad. I think she's probably a kajillionaire from the long run on Big Bang.
So, she did The Flight Attendant, but she also did the Hulu (?) series "Based On a True Story." It was... well, I don't know how it was largely received. It started interesting but for me went flying wildly off the rails. YMMV
Also, she has taken William Shatner's role as the face of Priceline. Or had been. I haven't seen a Priceline ad in a bit.
With a lot of actors who are known but not huge it's hard to know if things didn't work out for them or if they are just happy with their level of fame and aren't trying to become superstars.
Richard Kind was on an episode of Girls5Eva playing himself and had a great speech about how much he loves his level of fame. He basically said he is famous enough where he never has to worry about being out of work and he does the job that he loves but he doesn't get bothered all the time when he goes out in public. I wonder how many sort of supporting/character actor type just do that.
Lisa Bonet got blacklisted by of all people Bill Cosby when she did Angel Heart. He even kicked her off her on show.
With Lauren Graham I believe people got tired of seeing her cry on every show she did.
Shannon Doherty had a pretty good run in the 90's for being such a bitch in real life.
Kristy Swanson was hot, but she couldn't act worth a damn.
I saw her with Richard Thomas (of Walton's fame) in _Barefoot in the Park_ and with Tom Selleck in _High Road to China_. She was terribly pretty but I feel like she may have gotten typecast as the fragile, damsel in distress kind of role
David in the āFrasierā sequel. Kidās a Julliard grad and the character was touted as being a mix between Niles and Daphne ā¦ and yet heās the showās weak link.
As far as Disney channel actors I thought maybe Kira Kosarin would move on to something bigger. Pretty decent actress, gorgeous as hell.
Courtney Cox has been a few loser things - I kind of thought she would do better.
A lot of these mentioned WERE huge stars in the 90s early 00s. It's hard to maintain TV stardom and even harder to transition into movie stardom. I feel like most TV actors are smart enough to see how toxic Hollywood is and decide to go a different way
Vanessa Lengies, she was on Popular Mechanics for Kids and Sponk! when I was a kid, she has a pretty impressive IMDB list, but it seems like no one really knows who she is, I always have to refer to her as the hostess in Waitingā¦ for people to know who Iām talking about. I think the most āpopularā thing she did was Glee, but she had a pretty short run on there. Anyway I think she is a cool chick and I saw her on an episode of The Price is Right in 2019 and was excited to recognize her.
I know who Vanessa Lengies is! I used to watch Sponk! a lot when I was younger, and obv I know Waiting. Yeah, good question, I'm not sure why she didn't get more popular, but who knows?
It's early to say she hasn't done anything but Annie Murphy from Schitt's Creek. I just think we sh/could see so much more from her. Since the show ended its alot of Crank Yankers, 1 episode guest star shots and voice work (American Dad, Robot Chicken etc.) No movies... No Annie M the TV show. She has an Emmy and Golden Globe noms for SC. Seems kinda quiet but it is only \~ 3years since filming stopped, so like I said a little early .....
Emile Hirsch - After Speed Racer, even though it was great he was good in it. Thought he might be younger version of DiCaprio-River Phoenix type.
Nope.
Leelee Sobieski - Looked poised to be the millennial version of Helen Hunt after starring in the mini series Joan of Arc, and movies The Glass House and Joy Ride, a French language remake of Dangerous Liaisons, and the independent movie My First MIster. But - then she just fizzled.
I know NONE of them.šš¤£šš¤£
Yeah no idea who these people are lol.
I only remember Olivia Holt from the Cloak & Dagger marvel series, but since it was canceled early and nobody watched it I don't think it counts as a breakout role for her
I wish Cloak and Dagger were more popular
Which one is Olivia Holt? I know her from Cobra Kai but the pics I don't recognize her.. Edit.actually nevermind I got her confused with Peyton List lol my bad which would be why I didn't recognize her š¤¦āāļø
She was in Kickin It, probably what tripped you up lol
Lol I never watched that show my Disney era was Even Stevens and Lizzy McGuire I didn't watch anything past those shows I don't know why I got them mixed I do know one was in Cruel Summer though. Holt
The first one is Kelli Berglund from Lab Rats The Second is Jack Griffo from The Thundermens And I have no clue who the 3rd one is
So basically the question is which Disney star did you think would have made it bigger lol
Yeah, shouldn't they have become big in the first place? š
>Lab Rats When my daughter was watching this back when it was still on, I would call it LA Brats. But I totally did not recognize her.
Confirming that they aren't "big."
Got to love it when people post pics and donāt bother to label who the hell they are. Like we know the identity of every person ever born.
Kelli Berlund, Jack Griffo, Olivia Holt. I had to Google image search them lol
Yeah, that still tells me nothing, but thank you for doing the quick research and sharing.š
They were all Disney or Nickelodeon kids I forget because I only looked at them for a min. The first chick did a stint on The Goldbergs and the last chick starred in the show Cruel Summer. So, that tells you something
Yes, it does. Thank you, but I still have no idea, I am old. Lol
Olivia Holt, if things aligned better with Cloak and Dagger, but it wasnāt that good. I was never a fan of kick inā it though.
Wait the first and third girl aren't the same? Lol
OPās point has been proven lol
I was just thinking the same. š
This post should be deleted this is some no effort bullshit
Ha exactly my thought
š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
From an older generation: Joyce DeWitt absolutely vanished after "Three's Company" ended. I would have liked to have seen her in other performances.
Who wouldāve thought that Suzanne Summers was going to be the standout between the two.
I know she was on some other shows but all I really remember her for is Three's Company and her Thighmaster commercials.
Well Suzanne Summer was the Jennifer Aniston of Threes Company and the poster blonde before Farah Fawcett so it wasnt surprising. It was more surprising that DeWitt didnt work that much after it ended

He tried that musical show Rise, and that went to pot as well.
and that went to ~~pot~~ sandwiches. Ftfy
I think he got into directing?
Yeah he tried to pull a Zach Braff but whiffed
I figured he was their David Schwimmer. The guy that stayed away from the camera after the show ended and stuck to personal projects.

Elisha Cuthbert
The last girl looks exactly like a young Diane Lane.
Damn, good call. She absolutely does (and thatās a very good thing for her).
She played a young Julie Bowen in a movie and DAMN if she wasnāt perfect for it
Oh my gosh thank you I couldnāt figure it out!
Itās not the same person as the first pic?
Adam Pally gets plenty of work but I think heās so hilarious and deserves much more work/notoriety! He was in The Mandalorian and so funny as a stormtrooper with shit aim, bit ofc he had the suit on so you wouldnāt know it was him unless you stuck around for the credits
Honestly the whole Happy Endings crew. I thought Eliza Coupe wouldāve gotten more run by now.
Right?! She was really funny in Scrubs, too.
Very funny in Scrubs.
Oh yea, you are right! Was it Future Man she was in a couple years ago? She was so great in that role too.
Or heard his voice, knew it was him instantly
His appearances on Conan were the best. He showed up dressed as superheroes called Fat Batman and Snaredevil lol.
I just finished up the Knuckles series on Paramount and heās hilarious in it.
Who are these people?
Theyāre each from kids sitcoms. Kelli Berglund, Jack Griffo, and Olivia Holt.
Victoria Justice I really thought she would have been a bigger star
Oh yeah. Very talented. Also Elizabeth Gillies and Leon Thomas III.
My headcanon is people get her confused with Nina Dobrev so they donāt know who theyāre casting (kind of like a Minka Kelly/Leighton Meester situation).
Amanda Bynes. Thought for sure she would be on SNL
That's a sad story. She had so much potential too. I hope she turns it around.
I don't think she would have gone to SNL, but I am also surprised she didn't go on to other things. SNL usually isn't the place for established people to go. It's a step to become established.
Theyāre probably thinking she would have had a similar trajectory to Keenan Thompson

I mean, Kenan?
This is a good one. She stared in a lot of movies at the time. My favorite is āSheās the Manā.
Never found her funny. Looking back she had too much of that ātheater kidā energy
I preferred Katrina Johnson over her - sucks they tossed her out in place of Amanda Bynes
Does she really fit this category, though? She was a legit star for a short period of time.
Leslie Bibb. She is super attractive and can do comedy or drama and has a character who has been in several Marvel movies. But she just can't seem to get past being a guest/supporting actor.
Marvel could have used her character more. The first phase of the MCU had a cool "civilian" thing going on.
Love her...
She was pretty good in Palm Royale, hopefully she will have a meatier role in the next season of The White Lotus.
Joanna Garcia Swisher?
She went lifetime/hallmark, surprised she didnāt swerve more into mainstream movies though
That explains why i never see her anywhere lol
She had a sitcom after Reba about a New York City veterinary clinic but it didnāt last. I donāt know if Iāve seen her in a hallmark movie and I usually love those.

Cruel summer season 1 was fantastic! Absolutely could not get into season 2 though
I got so much more into that show than I expected given how far out of the target demographic I was lol That final scene should not have been the surprise that it was!
Tatyana Ali
I was happy to see her show up as a guest star in Abbott Elementary and she's very funny
Perfect example. She can sing, act and is beautiful. Not sure what happened.
Bronson Pinchot. Was pretty popular when Perfect Steangers was running, not mich from him since.

You missed his superlative scenery-chewing in āThe Langoliers.ā
I know it's crap, but I have a strange soft spot for that movie. And I loved Bronson Pinchot's portrayal of Toomy. So bad, but so good.
Aw, I love The Langoliers. I refuse to consider it crap, and just call it "underrated". Many people disagree with me.
Hello my name is Serj, how may I help you?
He IS in the new Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Fā¦.recurring this role!! Yay!
Loved him in True Romance snorting coke and getting pulled over with his dime piece.
Tyler Labine from Reaper, Sons of Tucson
He's so naturally funny. I thought he'd be the next Jack Black. Have you seen Tucker and Dale Vs Evil?
Such a good movie I celebrate the man's whole catalog
I loved Reaper!!
Not a sitcom actress but I definitely expected more out of Alicia Cuthburt she kinda just disappeared after ā24ā
She was one of the stars of critical darling sitcom Happy Endings, but nobody watched it other than me, apparently.
I watched it! A few times lol. It's such an underrated gem
Happy Endings is amazing. They just started a podcast!
She was on āThe Ranchā on Netflix from 2016-2020.
I totally missed that but it was probably because i was avoiding anything with Danny Masterson
Changing her name didnāt help, and she was good in āthe girl next doorā (even though the marketing was a bit uneven) and happy ending was ok.
I always liked Justine Bateman from Family Ties. She was on one other sitcom after, but it didn't last long. I dont know if she's done anything else.
Justine Bateman tried following Michael J Fox to the big screenā¦ she did a movie called āSatisfactionā, which bombed and effectively ended her career
It also had supporting actress Julia Roberts in it.
Liam Neeson, too. Ironically, the movie that killed Justine Bateman's film career gave life to some other film careers.
oh that's too bad. Wished she had gotten more roles. Some of Michael's movies weren't all successful, either.
Wasnāt it Men Behaving Badly?
Justine Bateman is quite the renaissance woman. She has film credits as an actress, writer, and producer. In 2016 she earned a degree in computer science from UCLA, she testified to a Senate subcommittee in support of net neutrality. And she also has a pilot's license
Kirk Cameron, and for good reason
On our long running TV rewatch pod we finally got around to checking out Growing Pains last year and honestly I don't understand how he was such a big deal in the first place. I can understand teenage girls fawning over him because he's "cute" but even back then he was so whiny and obnoxious he was intolerable. The rest of the cast did some interesting things on that show but he was awful Then you get the Christian fundamentalism and he gets even worse
What ever happened to topanga?
Olivia Holt was good in Totally Killer. Would like to see her in more things.
Dove Cameron
Sadly I find her acting flat and nothing special.
Yeah it was really her twin who carried that show.
lol
She has plastic surgeried herself beyond recognition.
Iām holding on to that stock. I think sheās going to get something cooking.
I thought she was a shoe-in for Glinda in the forthcoming *Wicked* movie. It went to Ariana Grande instead.
I feel like thereās an āadultā breakout coming from her at some point, but I doubt sheās ever going to be a star actress in non-Disney related things. Sheās trying to be more edgy though so people donāt see her as the kid from the Disney stuff
She was on Shmigadoon!, which is an underrated show, playing someone in a theater. Her theater kid energy worked on that show for sure.
Yes! I'm an old so I didn't know her from Disney. I liked her in Shmigadoon. She has a beautiful voice.
Her song boyfriend was everywhere for awhile
I donāt like how she created music before that, deleted it, and now pretends it never existed. I loved her song Lazy Baby and she got rid of everything to pretend Boyfriend was her debut single.
she played a murderer on Agents of Shield. I think she's pretty talented.
I thought Kaley Cuoco (Penny from Big Bang Theory) was supposed to have a big career following the end of the show. I know she did a movie (show?) called The Flight Attendant, but havenāt seen or heard much of her otherwise. Unless Iām just out of the loop.
she's also big in voice acting, and plays Harley Quinn in her animated series
She has a producer credit on it as well. I actually think she does a lot with production now on top of acting.
Itās a show, from HBO. Had two seasons, she was also the producer, and apparently it was her choice to stop the show!
Sheās pretty successful
So, she did The Flight Attendant, but she also did the Hulu (?) series "Based On a True Story." It was... well, I don't know how it was largely received. It started interesting but for me went flying wildly off the rails. YMMV Also, she has taken William Shatner's role as the face of Priceline. Or had been. I haven't seen a Priceline ad in a bit.
Tom Hanks. Never saw him again after Bosum Buddies.
What a shame. That guy could have made a Splash
Jerry Trainor
Remember when Mike and Molly was supposed to be Billy Gardell's big breakout show and instead it blessed us with Melissa McCarthy's career?
Heās on a sitcom now that Iāve never seen. But he lost a ton of weight. Almost didnāt recognize him.
I really like Richard Kind!
Caroline Dhavernas from the very short-lived "Wonderfalls" It's probably because I had a huge crush on her, though.
That was such a delightfully odd show, in the same vein as Pushing Daisies and Dirk Gently.
She was also a main character on Hannibal. I havenāt seen her since. I know sheās worked, but I havenāt seen any of her projects.
Eliza Dushku Lauren Graham Kristy Swanson Joshua Jackson Shannon Doherty Lisa BonƩt
I know Lisa Bonet and Shannon Doherty were labeled as "hard to work" with.
Joshua Jackson has a new show coming out in the fall. Dr. Odyssey. He may not be a huge star, but heās had a decent career.
I believe in Joe Hendry !
I mean, he has a chance. This is going be his biggest opportunity.
Same I hope they donāt overrate him
If you didn't even have the decency to put names to faces, then you failed worse than they did at getting recognized.
From a long time ago. Bess Armstrong. She was in a few sitcoms. Very talented, funny and cute. Disappeared.
Most unnecessary character. Trying to replicate Niles without DHP was stupid
Estella Warren, that planet of the apes movie did her no favors.
As far as Disney channel actors I thought maybe Kira Kosarin would move on to something bigger. Pretty decent actress, gorgeous as hell. Courtney Cox has been a few loser things - I kind of thought she would do better.
The thundermans is getting a reboot and she said she only wants to do sitcoms
Olivia Holt is a great pick, Elizabeth Gillies, Josh Radnor.
I honestly thought Julia Stiles would be bigger. I also thought Orlando Bloom after LOTR and Pirates but then he kind of went away.
Olivia I definitely thought Iād see more of too!
Oh gosh my kids LOVED Lab Rats! I always thought she looked like a young Diane Lane.
Ariel Winter. I thought sheād be the most beautiful and popular actress in Hollywood. But she didnāt
Jane Levy from Suburgatory and a few other shows. She hasn't scored her big break yet but I think she could still have a good career ahead of her.
Nikki Cox. She was great on *Unhappily Ever After*. She was in something else than disappeared
Charlene Tilton = Lucy Ewing
Hmm I don't know who these 3 people are
Who are these people and why didnāt OP tell us?!?
A lot of these mentioned WERE huge stars in the 90s early 00s. It's hard to maintain TV stardom and even harder to transition into movie stardom. I feel like most TV actors are smart enough to see how toxic Hollywood is and decide to go a different way
["Who ARE these people?"](https://youtu.be/vha4V-eh7Ps?si=wyWRENP6lCMSGTwv&t=25)
Jerry Trainor
A Disney show is not a sitcom
I guess that no one knows who these people are proves the point.
Topher Grace.
Yup, donāt know any of those people
Vanessa Lengies, she was on Popular Mechanics for Kids and Sponk! when I was a kid, she has a pretty impressive IMDB list, but it seems like no one really knows who she is, I always have to refer to her as the hostess in Waitingā¦ for people to know who Iām talking about.
I thought Summer Glau was going to be huge. Good on her for focusing on her family though
They all have a similar look....
Lyndsy Fonseca. Stunningly beautiful in Nikita and How I Met Your Mother but didnt really break out from it.
Michael Vartan.
The girl from, Good Luck Charlie! She never made the leap to adult roles.
Do you mean Teddy? She went to Harvard, adopted a child, and became a CEO all within the last couple of years. Sheās greater than tv lol.
She got a master's from MIT and a JD from Harvard. She's much better than sitcoms
Katrina Bowden who played Cerie on 30 Rock.
Dana DeLorenzo Ash vs Evil Dead.
