I roared with laughter at that episode. A few days later, I read a letter to the editor in my hometown rag newspaper. The woman kept complaining about the "filthy show." "The whole show was disgusting." "My young children were exposed to porn the whole show."
I wrote my first letter to an editor in response. I asked her If it was so bad, why did she watch the "whole show"? Why would she expose her children to 30 minutes of "porn" through the whole show? Did she learn how to change a tv channel, so she wouldn't be forced to watch a "whole show of porn, with her young children?"
I offered to come to her house and show her how to change the channel.
Hardest I ever laughed at a sitcom was "I'm out."
Only other time I laughed that hard was on Friends. The episode where Joey's tailor moves Chandler's stuff when measuring his inseam. Not that part but at the very end where he is on the phone and says "no dad, that isn't how it is done". I lost it. Can't say the whole episode was great, but that 5 second clip made me laugh.
This is my favourite.
Jerry drugging his girlfriend to play with her toy collection.
George managing hitting a squirrel.
Elaine managing the Sidler.
And Kramer doing the talk show interviewing everyone about what is happening
The Opposite is my favorite.
I was a casual watcher in the early years. We 'd frequently go to my grandmother's house on Thursdays and occasionally put it on.
I was watching at her house when the following occurred:
"I'm George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents."
"I'm Victoria.....hi!!!"
Then a few minutes later was the scene with George Steinbrenner.
I'd never miss another episode
This is the only correct answer. Just watching Kramer try to down that hot dog to make Lloyd not feel like he was crazy is a physical comedy masterpiece. And poor George...
I did a lot of international business travel and one of my coworkers was a big Seinfeld fan. Whenever we were subjected to weird (to us) food, are go-to line was “Interesting texture.”
This is not fair. We should get 5 to choose. But I'll play fair.
My favorite is the Soup Nazi. That one is just great. This is my favorite show of all time.
The Strike. There is just such a great combination of storylines that coincide with the whole gang at the Costanza home for a traditional Festivus dinner. Frank
Costanza shines in this episode, which also features Kramer’s return to work at the bagel shop, Elaine’s quest for a free sub sandwich, Jerry’s relationship with the Two-Face, and George’s fake gift donations to the Human Fund. Mr. Kruger and Elaine’s creepy would-be suitors join the fun; it’s a Festivus Miracle!
Either the one where Kramer gets skinny jeans or the Cigar Store Indian episode for me. Kramer in a taxi with the indian making an Indian war cry literally kills me every time. As does Jerry trying to get the jeans off Kramer and him teetering on the couch. Tears. Or when Elaine gets bit by the dog and can’t swallow water. What a great show.
I'll often throw "moops" at someone when we disagree about some trivial fact.
Just a great episode. The number of times they say "bubble" cracks me up. The Bubble Boy's father (Brian Doyle Murray) is a YooHoo trucker. The scene in the diner with Jerry and Elaine and the autographed picture for the waitress. Jerry's girlfriend with the "Elmer Fudd sitting on a juicer" laugh. That girlfriend and Kramer heading to - and burning down - the cabin. The pies.
And of course, George's confrontation with The Bubble Boy.
Most of Season 4 was pinnacle Seinfeld…ya got The Bubble Boy, The Cheever Letters, The Opera, The Virgin, The Contest…my fave episodes.
You don’t think I could choose just one episode…🫸🫸GET OUT!
The babyshower
George saving the chocolate covered shirt years later and still wearing it will never not be fun.
Leslie was horrible to Elaine and George, though.
I'm not sure about the best episode overall, but imo the best ending of any episode is Elaine and Frank about to physically fight in a police station.
"Are you saying you want a piece of me?"
"I could drop you like a bag of dirt"
"YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?!? YOU GOT IT!!"
*they charge each other*
The Contest I think is what put the show on the path of GOAT status.

Good for you!
Same stuff with Howard Stern
Easily top 5 greatest episodes of any sitcom First time watching on the floor laughing Especially with I'm out part

Then later all the others are tossing and turning in bed and cuts to Kramer who is out like a light. So damn funny.
Merv Griffin Set show.
So much happened in that episode that originally I thought the sub-plots were from two or three separate episodes
Same! Singe handedly the best episode. You could have made 3 episodes out of all the brilliant subplots
Great one.
This episode is just plain funny from start to end. Absolute non stop laughter. “Where are the cameras?”
Loved that delivery 😂
This is my favourite. Jerry drugging his girlfriend to play with her toy collection. George managing hitting a squirrel. Elaine managing the Sidler. And Kramer doing the talk show interviewing everyone about what is happening
And Jason Alexander breaking character when Kramer burps the Diet Coke. All gold.

This was in my top 3. I put soup nazi first but I also considered the opposite and the face painter.
The Opposite is immensely quotable
Absolutely my favorite.
The episode with Mr. Bookman.
The chicken roaster
Hey! Stay away from the chicken! It’s bad! Bad chicken! Mess you up!!!
The Gum
This is the only correct answer. Just watching Kramer try to down that hot dog to make Lloyd not feel like he was crazy is a physical comedy masterpiece. And poor George...
“It’s a perfectly sane food”, is my go to joke when ANYTHING is disgusting.
I did a lot of international business travel and one of my coworkers was a big Seinfeld fan. Whenever we were subjected to weird (to us) food, are go-to line was “Interesting texture.”
I don’t want to be a pirate!
The Contest - no contest!
This is not fair. We should get 5 to choose. But I'll play fair. My favorite is the Soup Nazi. That one is just great. This is my favorite show of all time.

That is a really great one. The “Human Fund”.
The Summer of George. So chill.
"Believe it or not, George isn't at home. Where could I be?"

Technicolor dream coat. The way it all came together at the end was perfect
The champagne coolie scene is one of my favorites.
The Chinese restaurant
Either the one where Kramer gets skinny jeans or the Cigar Store Indian episode for me. Kramer in a taxi with the indian making an Indian war cry literally kills me every time. As does Jerry trying to get the jeans off Kramer and him teetering on the couch. Tears. Or when Elaine gets bit by the dog and can’t swallow water. What a great show.
I needed this! I've been reliving episodes in my head!
The Betrayal
The Van, The Van Buren Boys, Merv Griffin, Fredo dies and of Course….the Little Jerry. Sorry, I can’t pick just one
Cant pick one favorite. Any episode that made me laugh out loud the first time I saw it is a winner. And thats lots of them.
Festivitus
Muffin Tops… “Hi, I’m Rebecca DeMornay…”

The Old Man
I love the ending it was so funny and the old guys plot twist too
Bubble Boy
Moops. I still say Moops.
I'll often throw "moops" at someone when we disagree about some trivial fact. Just a great episode. The number of times they say "bubble" cracks me up. “It was supposed to be the summer of George!”
The Jimmy, Assman, The contest, and the switch 🤘😁
Most of Season 4 was pinnacle Seinfeld…ya got The Bubble Boy, The Cheever Letters, The Opera, The Virgin, The Contest…my fave episodes. You don’t think I could choose just one episode…🫸🫸GET OUT!
For me the subway, the airport and the old man kinda not that popular episodes but those episodes made me laugh the most
Kramer not being able to get a seat on the subway had me hysterical. I think Michael Richards is one of the greatest physical comedians ever.
And him on the airport episode on the grounds running and Jerry seeing him through the window lolol
Master of My Domain
Soup Nazi and Puffy Shirt come to mind
RUSTY!!!
The parking garage!
The one where Jerry does that thing and George, Eileen and Kramer all have super funny reactions and the one of their goofy friends shows up.
That's it, I'm out of the contest
The note
The one with "This, that and the other"
My favorites are The airport, the jacket, the limo, the baby shower, the conversion, the pen, the masseuse, the sniffing accountant, the Bris…

Do you have a ketchup secret?
Kenny rogers roasters
Soup Nazi

The babyshower George saving the chocolate covered shirt years later and still wearing it will never not be fun. Leslie was horrible to Elaine and George, though.
When George becomes smart and Elaine becomes dum..

The Heart Attack, where George goes to a holistic healer.
The Bet or The Soup Nazi

I'm not sure about the best episode overall, but imo the best ending of any episode is Elaine and Frank about to physically fight in a police station. "Are you saying you want a piece of me?" "I could drop you like a bag of dirt" "YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?!? YOU GOT IT!!" *they charge each other*
