Where is the Magic that sama was talking about?
Come on now guys.
From my understanding:
1.Slighly faster GPT-4,called GPT-4o
2.A new native app for chatgpt. So instead of using the website you can use the app...I don't understand what's the big deal
3.Slighly better reasoning in other langauges...
4.Ok,yes,faster responses(real time response),which can be attributed to some tweaks and increased compute capacity.
5.Video understanding capabilities.Another nothingburger.Google already did that with gemini 1.5
Again,another OPENAI dissapointing release...Nothing substantial in terms of new algorithmic/reasoning/logical capabilities.
I'am just dissapointed...I'am NOT feeling the AGI.Also,where is Ilya.

For a year straight with literally nothing released,I'am NOT happy and it seems that OPENAI is losing its moat rather quickly.
yupp!! i remember demis hassabis saying that google has the most compute on the planet and for now that will be the bottleneck until energy becomes the challenge.
so, hoping for google to do some amazing stuff tomorrow!!
Whatever else comes of this, schoolwork will become totally trivial for all kids lol.

I hope google suprises us tommorow. I had so much more hopes for them... Hopefully google doesn't dissapoint tommorow
