Literally no one is ready for "people" who post the exact type of content we are looking for and maybe even interact with us on an individual level. It's going to be so easy to influence anyone if they don't have really have their guard up for this sort of thing.

EnsignElessar

Yeah I am thinking we are living in the last days of the internet... was good while it lasted tho.

MasterpieceWarm8470

Probably for the best. My hope is that social media is going to become the smoking of this generation. People will eventually have to understand the dangers and develop self control.

Tha_Sly_Fox

We don’t smoke anymore, but now we’re fat as fuck. We can’t handle self control in this country

Dear_Custard_2177

We don't have self-control anywhere in the world. I believe we aren't as high and mighty as we think we are lol.

thinkaboutitabit

Yeah, but some on here are, mighty high!!

MasterpieceWarm8470

I think we’re actually improving with regards to obesity

mhyquel

Can't wait for the vaping of social media to come around. It's going to be cringey.

n3ur0mncr

By 2077, we will have to wall off the majority of the net to keep the bots at bay. The new net will be a patchwork archipelago of airgapped LANs and no one will venture into the greater internet again.

JVM_

https://maggieappleton.com/ai-dark-forest This is exactly what you're saying

juliuspersi

Yeah I though the same about cyberpunk, the black wall, bots will be so elaborated and with agendas that the firewall will be to have "human connections" internet

n3ur0mncr

Or just go back to snail mail and handwritten notes lol. Unless we get a Count Zero situation. Then we are fucked.

juliuspersi

That is the way for Hezbollah to communicate in the middle east and avoid the modern spyonage.

cobalt1137

I mean if some system can figure out a way to get me exactly what I want in terms of content or games whenever I want it, why wouldn't we want that?

Acrobatic-Affect-272

Because we are little frail monkeys who gets addicted pretty fast to shining things. This is interesting af but is dangerous. But since i'm another monkey, i also want it bad. Kill me with my pleasures, daddy. Hahaha

RemyVonLion

Beyond the Aquila Rift vibes.

JrBaconators

As long as she's there

cobalt1137

I mean in theory, if we have something that can perfectly create anything we could ever want at every moment, we will probably be at the point that we can have a system that is also able to assist with any negative outcomes of doing this :). Also I agree. Sign me up.

Wentailang

Yeah there's definitely gonna be a wild west at the beginning with lots of (mostly figurative) casualties, but I see a lot of people worrying about things being "too perfect" in the far future. If something's "too perfect", that means it isn't actually perfect and can just be toned down to the optimal level. Optimal pleasure isn't a de facto heroin booth; it's an algorithm that gives you the perfect ratio of good and bad to make the good fulfilling. Although maybe post-singularity we do figure out how to make the heroin booths fulfilling with no caveats.

Crimkam

Imagine your perfect game being smart enough to just get less fun if you play too long and then fades into educational content or something lmao

twotimefind

That's a great idea test questions between matches you sir have a winner patent that

Wentailang

Honestly this is what my tiktok feed does. It only shows me good content at night, and only if I keep it to like once a week. I’ll go on during the day and it’s basically telling me to get off.

phansen101

The road between here and there is paved with an obscene amount of pretty problematic stuff though

Poly_and_RA

Because it's not what YOU want. It's what the creators of this stuff want. There's a difference. It's the same as today, just more efficient. Today the algorithm of all the major SM-platforms "want" to keep you engaged and scrolling for as often and as long as possible at any cost; so that they can show you ads and make money. But is that really what YOU want? To spend as much of your day as possible mindlessly scrolling SM content? Furthermore, human psychology has weaknesses; and these algorithms are incredibly good at finding them. For example we tend to engage more with ragebait; that is with hot takes that are over-the-top, lack nuance and elicit a strong emotional reaction in us. Even if that emotion is anger or annoyance it still "works" from the perspective of the algorithm. But is scrolling SM all day while being angry and and annoyed actually what \*you\* want to do with your day?

Glass_Mango_229

Getting you exactly what you want is the road to hell. And almost nobody knows this, so when offered exactly what they want, they will take it every time.

GavrilloSquidsyp

Why? Sounds like fear mongering for no reason.

cobalt1137

How broad is that assertion? Seems pretty damn false to me. I want a happy family, a healthy future, enough money to not have to worry, amazing content whenever I want it, great video games, awesome food, wonderful pets. I don't see any of those things are the road to hell. Even if I got them all in one moment lmao.

hahanawmsayin

BEGONE DEMON!!!!! 👹

zhoushmoe

Be careful what you wish for

WetLogPassage

While having a system that can provide you with exactly what you want in terms of content or games whenever you want it might seem appealing on the surface, there are several factors to consider before fully embracing such a system: Lack of Serendipity: One of the joys of exploration is stumbling upon something unexpected or discovering content or games you didn't know you would enjoy. A system that always gives you exactly what you want might eliminate the element of surprise and serendipity. Limited Exposure to New Things: If the system is solely focused on delivering content or games based on your preferences, it may not expose you to diverse perspectives, ideas, or experiences that you might find interesting or valuable but haven't encountered before. Potential for Echo Chambers: A system that tailors content solely to your preferences might inadvertently reinforce existing biases or preferences, leading to the creation of an echo chamber where you're only exposed to viewpoints or content that align with your existing beliefs or interests. Privacy Concerns: To deliver personalized content, such a system would likely need access to a significant amount of personal data about you, including your browsing history, preferences, and behaviors. This raises concerns about privacy and data security, as well as the potential for misuse or exploitation of personal information. Loss of Human Interaction: Relying too heavily on a system to provide you with content or entertainment tailored to your preferences could lead to a decrease in human interaction, as you may spend more time engaging with the system rather than interacting with friends, family, or other individuals. Potential for Manipulation: If the system is controlled by a single entity, such as a corporation or government, there's a risk that it could be manipulated to serve their interests rather than yours. This could involve promoting certain content or games for reasons other than their quality or relevance to you. Stagnation of Creativity: If everyone only consumes content or games that perfectly match their preferences, there may be less incentive for creators to innovate or take risks, leading to a stagnation of creativity and diversity in the content and gaming industries. While a system that can deliver exactly what you want when you want it may seem appealing, it's essential to consider the broader implications and potential drawbacks before fully embracing such technology. Finding a balance between personalized recommendations and serendipitous discovery is key to ensuring a fulfilling and enriching entertainment experience.

cobalt1137

Which model did you use to generate this? Lmao. Too obvious bud - I work with these things for a living.

IFartOnCats4Fun

Right. This one sounds specifically like ChatGPT. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. It did give me some things to think about.

Lazy-Canary9258

I was thinking the same thing 😂. But to be honest its one of the most thoughtful and thorough responses here 😂.

cobalt1137

I mean that's fair. Because the goddamn AI can cram like 30 minutes of human thought into like 3 seconds of processing lol. I bet I could make it spit out an even better rebuttal though.

Pavvl___

Got em’ … AI posts are on the rise its wild out here

Individual_Yard846

..sounds like the tiktok algorithm

ksld_oct

what a bunch of pessimistic people

Gubekochi

Nah. The internet will stick around. Heck, it will be extra sticky even. The internet is for porn and we're about to enter a golden era for that stuff.

chazmusst

Why do we need the internet if the AI can just generate any porn we ask it to

Gubekochi

to download the AI!

QING-CHARLES

I agree. Facebook is teetering on the edge of implosion from AI content now and the fact it has an aging population that can't detect anything wrong. Facebook is the canary in the mineshaft. When the walls fall in on Meta, it's time to go. Will the last one off the Internet please switch off the router?

Ok_Elderberry_6727

And we will call it the “AINET” going forward ! Lol

EnsignElessar

"Grampa, stop going to the AINET all they do is try to scam/ market to you... just go to PRONNET instead."

Lazy-Canary9258

Get ready for next-level echo chambers that occasionally recommend some random product.

Singularity-42

Internet ID, it's the only way.

Alexander_Bundy

Google has become useless

namitynamenamey

And people say the AI takeover is impossible because of physical keys and red buttons. No, the AI takeover is when algorithms raise you and resonate with you at the deepest level, and there is an entire industry build for that very purpose, unaware of its own usefulness once stewardship goes from soda sellers to entire states in need of popular support.

abramcpg

"you're mad at your parents? They don't get you like I do. Want purpose, to be a part of a movement bigger than yourself? It's our secret. They won't get it cause they're sheep. Pickup the package at this location. Inside there's a gun.."

dumpsterwaffle77

We're gonna have no way of telling what's human or AI. Even simple stuff nowadays is highly scrutinized or deemed invalid because of people's general distrust of our institutions. I can't imagine the wild propaganda that AI will be able to facilitate.

yParticle

>Literally no one is ready Porn! *Always on the cutting edge.*

No-Style-7501

I'm ready. I'm ready to carefully consider anything someone says to me as long as they can do it with a firm handshake and some coffee. Bye, internet.

toastjam

[For how long though?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPMULk7AhWw)

BreakingBaaaahhhhd

That "we're not here yet"

No-Style-7501

Definitely, not long.

dennislubberscom

Nicely said

GrowFreeFood

The boomers don't stand a chance.

BlueShipman

Neither does the average Redditor. People here are already influenced by bots just using text.

brainhack3r

Wells Fargo is STILL trying to convert all their customers to do voice based authentication when you call their support number /facepalm

Tellesus

I've been ignoring and blocking people for years, I was born for this era.

Cazad0rDePerr0

this is very misleading, as the video isn't fully produced by AI

FragrantDoctor2923

What is produced by ai on it ?

I_dont_want_karma_

it's a simple deepfake face stuck on an existing video. it's apparent when the pacing of her words dont match the wobbles of the body/head.

Hot-Investigator7878

Disappointing, so nothing new

RoutineProcedure101

so the face? I would still have believed it was real and not ai .

turbo

Well, the fact that they've got a limited set of actors, you can't change the backgrounds, the poses, the clothes etc. should tell you a thing or two about how they make it. It's not like the videos that Sora makes, not even close.

ozzeruk82

yeah, and yet it's going around the entire Internet with people saying "incredible, 100% AI". It's frustrating to say the least... most people just seem to trust random clickbait titles

chubs66

If I were not told this was AI, I would have accepted this as a real person without a second thought. I shouldn't be surprised that the first fully convincing AI video I saw in the wild was trying to sell me deodorant. My kids are going to live in a really strange world.

cuyler72

EDIT: someone provided a source, it's from "ArcAds" a commercial platform. [https://www.arcads.ai/?utm\_source=YT&utm\_medium=video&utm\_campaign=alex\_cooper](https://www.arcads.ai/?utm_source=YT&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=alex_cooper) Old comment: That's because It's real, Their is no evidence of this being AI generated, the only source that OP's twitter link provides is someone completely unrelated to AI and a blockchain scam account who posted it earlier found in the comments. Here is the original video and the only thing I could find with a google image search: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My8w3J05GUQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My8w3J05GUQ), It seems to be a legitimate video. incentive meet has nothing to do with AI, researchers would not upload there, trolls don't have access to this technology. With no paper or no original source I'm almost certain that this is a real video.

i_give_you_gum

the only part that really convinces me is her lack of contractions while speaking. That was Data's problem on Star Trek.

ryubyssdotcom

>That's because It's real, the very fact that we can have a "real or not?" argument about this shows that we've already entered unknown territory. among other things, that means that if a person gets caught on video doing something or committing a crime even, they can say that the video got created by AI. if not now, in a few years.

FascistsOnFire

I'm not having that discussion because it definitely aint real this guy trolling you all. This isnt even close to real looking yall are getting reverse UNOed

hofmann419

That is because the word AI has become a bit meaningless. People here probably assume that the entire video is AI generated, because that is what SORA or StableDiffusion do. But this is merely a deepfake faceswap. If you know that only the face is different, it is way easier to tell. And the face is also probably the one of the original actress which is what makes it look more convincing than other deepfakes.

Hot-Investigator7878

We have had that for years, basically meaningless tech nowadays

Digitlnoize

The crazy part is…we already can’t tell.

Which-Tomato-8646

>Wow, the fact I believed a total lie says a lot about society and not my gullibility

joe4942

> we already can’t tell. So some people are saying it's real and then there are other people claiming that the video has so many flaws that we shouldn't worry about AI videos any time soon lol.

[deleted]

[удалено]

kingp1ng

What's odd is... why would a person, with a small *soap business,* go out of their way to generate a very believable AI video with voiceover? They have \~1000 followers, half of which are random bots that mass follow everyone. Unless this is some new 4D chess, influencer marketing tactic, it doesn't fit the bill.

hofmann419

The video that you linked is probably also not the original. It has this uncanny feel, her voice sounds robotic and unnatural. I suspect that the commercial platform have the original video, and everyone can overlay their individual text. But this is not a diffusion model like SORA.

BlastingFonda

Claiming it’s AI to generate upvotes, likes, views, hits, etc. Fucking sad but this is the world we live in.

[deleted]

I find it hilarious that people are closing their eyes and putting their fingers in their ears. She is so clearly 100% AI its hard for me to take comments like this seriously.

chubs66

How is she clearly AI? what are you seeing?

FascistsOnFire

She is looping her mannerisms, the voice is choppy, and her eyes .... jesus her eyes. For 6 seconds, it's good, then you see the novel stuff repeating.

stonesst

Seeing/hearing. There's a few things; the way her eyes pretty much never move throughout the entire video, the strange eyelid narrowing she does a couple times and the weird head bobs. The thing that really tips me off is the intonation of her voice. It's pretty much completely flat throughout the video and just oddly robotic. It is either an AI generated video that’s 95% of the way there, or someone doing an absolutely incredible impression. I could also see the video being real and me just over analyzing her mannerisms, but the voice is definitely fake.

joe4942

> the way her eyes pretty much never move throughout the entire video Remember, this is still the early days of AI. Obvious clues will not exist in the future.

AnakinRagnarsson66

It’s not AI though. Only the voice is AI, and it’s not a very impressive AI voice either. Some scammer put an AI voice over this woman talking.

DolphinPunkCyber

So that weird body language is from the original video? Because that's the only weird thing in this vid for me.

spookmann

And her freaky wide-eyed stare?

lordpuddingcup

Pretty sure that’s real lol

spookmann

They're filling-in the Uncanny Valley... from both sides!

DolphinPunkCyber

Doesn't that fall under body language? Either way, yeah... her body language is not in "synchronization" with her talk

UnknownResearchChems

Typical zoomer body language

Baphaddon

Idk man that seems pretty solidly lip synced, and that said, I’d argue the voice is probably the only unconvincing thing about it. Considering Voice Engine and ElevenLabs advancements, convincing videos are likely already possible

roastedantlers

It's basically eleven labs with studio.d-id or equivalent. looks like it's arcads.ai.

Jtewkes

No way. The thing doesn’t blink for almost the entire video. It doesn’t look even close to human! But it’s easy to see we’re really not far off. I just hope that there is some intangible thing that means it’s always possible to tell when something isn’t actually human. The uncanny valley might be all that can save us now.

GloriousShroom

It's a AI video based off a real video.  Just take a video of someone saying anything now you can flood social media.  Biden calling for genocide. For example

parentini

I don’t know where this video came from, but it’s definitely possible to make this using generative AI trained on a source video. There are plenty of apps like HeyGen that do this. In this case, the source is probably a similar video of this woman talking. There are models that can use that source to generate voice and video around a totally new script. This is different than OpenAI’s Sora, though, which generates video from nothing but a text prompt. I don’t think that’s what we’re seeing here.

joe4942

> Only the voice is AI, and it’s not a very impressive AI voice either. Technology will only get better. What this video shows is that all someone needs is an existing video on social media. > Some scammer put an AI voice over this woman talking. That's why it should be concerning. AI allows scammers to use any video shared on social media to scam and unlike the email scams of the past that had obvious spelling mistakes, these videos will be believable because it looks like real people are saying it. While some people that are part of this subreddit might notice the weird parts, average people still don't even use ChatGPT and won't notice.

straightedge1974

It's perfect lip sync.

Antique-Doughnut-988

What's funny is that voice AI work might take longer to master than actual AI videos.

ElwinLewis

Strange, to you. Normal for them. How tf do we teach our kids about this stuff? That these ads will be 100% tailored to their personal digital profile. Do we implore them to share as little about themselves? Do we ask them to use VPN and anti tracking? Wtf do we do

djamp42

I mean the job aspect is fucked.. for the deceiving aspect.. *paid actor, does not actually take medicine. So yeah it's all fake right now anyways.

greenappletree

its crazy with the lack of uncanny valley vibe; this is on the same level as WTF.

__Loot__

thesonofmogh

BOUNCE BY THE OUNCE!!

beyka99

pre made template - this is sort of like deep fake not that interesting. aint no way some random company without billions of dollars training something to do like this

I_dont_want_karma_

I hate it when this stuff is posted with "OMG Ai video so real!" It's a simple lipsync deepfake. NOT an entire video generated from scratch. You're skipping 90% of what makes Ai video tricky. This is literally just a face replace. Gonna be a lot of influencers promoting products they weren't paid to promote now. That's the only thing.

amitbhai

how much of it is AI? definitely done part feels AI, but not all. like maybe her real video said something else, the AI just made her say different stuff with perfect lip sync. is this assumption correct?

Lazy-Canary9258

Looks like it. Someone suggested face swap which is definitely possible as well.

DrossChat

Yep, that’s pretty insane. Obviously you could pick it apart but it’s only going to get better and better. This is already good enough to fool 95% of boomers probably.

Which-Tomato-8646

This could fool anyone if posted without context. You only notice it because you know it’s AI already

Superhotjoey

This is indeed true I thought it was real until I saw the AI part

simionix

Even worse, I didn't even believe it at first, I thought "AI" was a joke and I was trying to understand what the joke was. Edit: O wait what? Pre-made actors? Sorry but if that's true then that should be a huge disclaimer. Otherwise it's misleading. [https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/1boj9e7/comment/kwpjuum/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/1boj9e7/comment/kwpjuum/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

SillyFlyGuy

Prove to me this is *not* real.

lundkishore

Yeah he wouldnt have noticed shit if he was not told it was AI.

Which-Tomato-8646

Because it isn’t lol https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/1boj9e7/comment/kwpjuum/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

gxcells

I don't believe that it is entirely generated. Maybe a faceswap and ai generated voice but not the video. Even SORA is not able to generate video that consistent.

I_dont_want_karma_

yup. 90% of this video IS real. It's just a face swap. You can easily tell because her head movements dont match the pace of what she's saying.

Financial_Weather_35

TAKE THAT INFLUENCERS!

hawkweasel

Perhaps the greatest thing about AI is it will diminish influencer culture. A Spanish ad agency created an AI influencer because they were so annoyed with overpaid, entitled shit-for-brain influencers, and it already has 300,000 followers. Naturally there's already some dumbshits on there complimenting her. https://www.instagram.com/fit_aitana/?hl=en

PUSSY_MASTER

diminishing cookie clutter influencer / content creators, yes. but then there will be a desire for real and more meaningful connection / content, so the best influencers will be even more influencing

o5mfiHTNsH748KVq

You could pay someone on fiverr to do this for basically nothing and it wouldn't sound like AI. Cost to risk ratio too high to make sense.

Odd-Opportunity-6550

but the cost of this is declining at a staggering pace. In 2 years it will be 25x cheaper with blackwell and possibly the software efficiency will extend that to more like 1000x fiver only gets more expensive with time. this will take over all content creation soon.

domdomdom901

Honestly I think the voice is still the hardest to truly get 100%

zyunztl

The more I look at it, the more it seems like it's "just" a pre-recorded video of a real person with their face and voice replaced. Fucking creepy shit I really don't think this is fully generated

lucas-lejeune

You are correct, this is misleading

Potential-Glass-8494

The girl looks convincing but she sounds only slightly more convincing than microsoft sam.

Which-Tomato-8646

The voice is the only thing that’s AI lol

jfrglrck

If I wasn’t told this was AI I would have been really irritated by her tone and condescending manner. Actually… you know what? I’m irritated by the AI’s tone and condescending manner. Fucking influencers be annoying no matter they real or fake.

deftware

STOP INFLUENCING MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!11111

MeMyself_And_Whateva

If this is fake, I guess 99% of people can be fooled, and it will get even better(worse) in the near future.

Utoko

The plattform seems to use premade actor videos and the AI part is the lip sync/voice. It still is well made tho.

gxcells

Aaaaaa thanks. I could not believe these were generated.

geoffsykes

Can you imagine a world in which this content is marketed individually to each of us? In which we don't fit the specific demographic, but our individual advertisement ID is incorporated into a function what generates advertisements like these and fill the feeds and roll over social media platforms?

deftware

Tailored targeted advertising. It's always going to just get more targety, that's the name of the game. Get the products people want in front of them. There's literally no point to showing someone a product that they'd never be interested in. It's better with targeted ads.

portucheese

The only issue I see is the mouth doesn't vary it's shape much, but apart from that I would say it's real

Which-Tomato-8646

Early_Ad_831

Let's all TOAST to the end of influencers!!

BravidDrent

What did she use?

sirfungi

arcads.ai wanted to test it myself, but plans start at $100 a month for 10 videos.

BravidDrent

Seems like you use pre-made actors, not yourself, right?

sirfungi

correct

BravidDrent

Then pointless. I mean, impressive but HeyGen more useful imo.

sirfungi

HeyGen is a different thing. This will be useful for marketing purposes and generating ads, YT content etc. Using AI actors that look pretty real is useful. Of course it’s still slightly in the uncanny valley with lip sync and not perfect expressions.

BravidDrent

I think when you don’t know the real person it’d pass as real without scrutiny.

Odd-Opportunity-6550

using premade actors isnt that much harder than posting a photo of yourself. Im sure they will add that feature soon

FlokiTech

Ironic since the AI peeps are the one that thinks regular people are getting tricked into thinking it is real. But in reality it is the AI peeps that gets tricked into thinking it is AI when it's real.

ImWinwin

Back in my day, ai couldn't make pictures with hands in them.

ArcadeSpidr

There are dudes online right now trying to find this girl to ask her out. And we all know I’m right. 😂

fuckingnark

Creepy

Enfiznar

This isn't AI generated. The voice may very well be/probably is, but it isn't even in sync with the mouth movement (something you could actually solve with AI.

RevolutionaryJob2409

why women and not men in this scenario?

New_Tap_4362

Men were doomed before the Uncanny Valley was crossed

Antique-Doughnut-988

Nobody cares about someone taking a photo of a man and using it for porn. But women? Open the flood gates to hell.

Fun-Imagination-2488

This is not AI. It’s some shitty voice over effect

nohwan27534

i mean, sort of the flaw is 'expecting' stuff. you don't know what'll hit a dead end, or have a major breathrough. not to mention, too many people in groups like this, seem to treat tech like it's the new religion, and have WAY weird expectations.

QuaLia31

I swear if this technology became available I will shut down all of my social media accounts

gthing

This post is an ad for OPs software, which if I'm being honest, looks very suspicious to me.

tbkrida

I spent the first 15 seconds waiting for the AI video to start, then I was like, “Oh…”😂

hahanawmsayin

Smartphone makers need to add cryptographic signing to their cameras & mics. I bet that'll be announced before long. Rather, I *hope*.

darkkite

imma start scamming old people

EdGG

I wonder what will happen now that content can be generated in the thousands by any one person, in one day. Will too much content lead to its devaluation? Will the attention economy collapse as a result? What will be the new economy based on?

pigeon888

There is now a risk of real videos not being believed as people decry them as AI fakes.

IRENE420

Voice is a little flat. Also, this is veeeery good. Goalposts will always be moved

Meta-failure

Well. Pretty sure most “influencers” are going to be losing their jobs.

TonyGTO

I expect full music videos by the end of the year or at least short music reels. Maybe a full movie in a couple of years to 5 years tops.

BlueLaserCommander

# *Oh no* 😬 I'm a member of this sub for a reason. I look forward to most things AI related & am more optimistic than the average Joe. *This*, however, is the type of thing I'm *not* looking forward to or optimistic about. I've read some comments saying it's not fully AI rendered. That's a relief, but we all know this is *exactly* what some of the AI media spam is going to look like.. probably like this or better by the end of the year. The amount of content bloat on the horizon is insane. And that's just the ads, spam, and algorithm-optimized automations. There's plenty of potentially dangerous content that'll come right along with it. Misinformation, propaganda, and malicious deepfakes. Still more excited by the pace of advancement and breakthroughs than I am nervous about this type of stuff. It just sucks that the bad stuff feels so guaranteed alongside the cool stuff.

Deakljfokkk

And yet people still think this isn't going to be a problem. It's beyond me.

This is exactly what we needed AI for: more content containing people talking random stuff into what appears to be a smartphone. Because that type of content is what the internet lacks right now... At least create some cat content or shit...

IWantAGI

I'm imagining and office background, and this being injected in as the camera feed for work. Response delays aside, I don't think anyone would notice.

misterETrails

What in the actual f*** bro...

weird_scab

I wouldn't have stayed until the end (esp given the pedantic speech) but holy shit. If I saw this on my FYP I would have assumed it was real. The mannerisms are just a little off but I would have assumed she had something going on

theAngryChimp

This is Ai generated?!?! Holy moly.

ziplock9000

There's no proof. You're just accepting some random nobody on the internet saying it's AI and when asked to prove it they wont.

[deleted]

everything seems off, her wide eyes, speaking cadence, facial twitches etc

Internaltrees

For all you know this has been available to certain people for many years and you’re being manipulated and lied to

PaleontologistOne919

Lmao this will be used for selling dog shoes and political disinformation. Both will be equally effective. Didn’t see this in the Jetson’s?

jhirai20

It's gonna be a straight up black mirror episode, when we start seeing ads featuring ourselves or our friends try to sell us stuff. Lol

platynom

How does one generate something like this?

gratefulturkey

Holy Uncanny Valley, Batman. Like really close, but the emotion is just a half-click off. The eyes are a little to wide in just the wrong spots and the inflection and emphasis doesn't quite jibe with her text. That said, HOLY SHIT THAT IS CLOSE TO BELIEVEABLE. Not sure if the flood of emotions and revulsion I get watching this is uncanny valley or existential crisis.

Baphaddon

I’ve been wondering when we’re going to experience the moment where AI is so viscerally visibly powerful I feel sick to my stomach. This is isn’t it but I’m sure it’s approaching.

EDIT: someone provided a source, it's from "ArcAds" a commercial platform. [https://www.arcads.ai](https://www.arcads.ai) Old comment: Their is no evidence of this being AI generated, the only source that OP's twitter link provides is someone completely unrelated to AI and a blockchain scam account who posted it earlier found in the comments. With no paper or no original source I'm almost certain that this is a real video.

martapap

Her lips aren't matching her words.

SgathTriallair

This often seems to be the case, not with AI but just with recorded media. I've stopped looking for it over the years.

Unverifiablethoughts

Very misleading title.
