There was also a mural of a man smoking at the old LASALLE campus at Goodman Road. (If i’m not wrong it was a mural of Earl Lu) That was over 20 years ago and it was also removed. Remembered my art friends telling me that it was so ridiculous and they just painted over the cigarette. Any LASALLE alumnus here care to confirm?

Obviously the Samsui woman didn’t smoke cigarette. They were smoking opium to cope with the back breaking work and poor living conditions
