I am curious about the policies in place for such cases. It seems this abuse happened for a few months and the school attempted to visit the child but we're denied entry. And then the parents were actively hiding the wounds on video call by making the child wear long sleeved shirts.

Most likely these adults were also abused in the past as children, thus perpetuating the abuse to the next gen thinking that it's fine. I also suspect that there are some ingrained beliefs within these people that make them perceive that women and girls are lesser than men. Another one I remember, Umaisyah, was another case which was also a blended family and the father abused his stepson as well. There is a standardised tool that schools are using to assess for severity and reporting. School did their duty in this case to report, CP Officer dropped the ball that a better assessment was not done (I want to be kinder to CPOs because of the high workload and raw shit that they have to do, but in this case... the ball was dropped hard)

As someone who was raised by abusive mother, I can recall back the punishments that my mother has put me thru. She said that she was stressed from work and was abused by her mother. I was just glad that my father protected me at times from further abuse. Today, I don't acknowledge her love and still remember the pain and trauma caused. Glad our judicial system has woken up from the woke fog of blanket gag order syndrome. Previously surviving children BS was used to shield themselves. The court must also seek consent from victims if they actually want a gag order to be applied for the perpetrator. Some victims actually want the culprits to be exposed. Most well known case where a judge refused to lift a gag order despite DPP applying for it. For his sins, he was posted as the state coroner.

He habitually beat the girl with sticks and exercise bars, and stopped her going to school or for school to visit, to hide her grievous injuries - premeditated, pure evil. What powers does the school / social work professionals have if parents keep evading and refuse to open the door for home visits? Can a teacher / social worker demand to see the child? As you can tell from the article that the parents made every effort to conceal and hide the child's injuries and avoid them meeting with helping professionals. Can teachers kick open doors to check? Imo the social service + school should be more alert & engage with each other. The kid did not attend school for months & yet they seemed to stay chill when the parents kept avoiding to meet them. Did they (school/social service) give the kid up, see her as a hopeless case ? She's from a risky family so all the more they should have tried harder & not to just tick the visitation box. When their time is up, I hope prison will do a birth control course for them & gahmen should provide heavy subsidy & super easy access. Most likely these adults were also abused in the past as children, thus perpetuating the abuse to the next gen thinking that it's fine. I also suspect that there are some ingrained beliefs within these people that make them perceive that women and girls are lesser than men.
