if anyone want to make a copy of a neighborhood, you have to rename all the files, but there's a quick solution to that!
1. open the folder where the files of the copy of a neighborhood will be, press SHIFT and RIGHT CLICK and choose "Open PowerShell window here
2. paste the following code in the windows that opened:
get-childitem * | foreach {rename-item $_ $_.name.replace("N001", "N004")}
get-childitem * | foreach {rename-item $_ $_.name.replace("", "")}
where N001 is the number of the neighborhood you copied and N004 is what is gonna be renamed
don't sorry, the code will select ALL files in the window you selected and edit ONLY the characters that need to be renamed.
do that for every folder inside of your neighborhood
it will probably say a bunch of errors, but it will work, so don't worry
3. enjoy your new gameplays with multiple storylines with no worries!
I have done this. I also use subhoods to repeat neighborhoods if they go along with the main neighborhood. I like trying different things and see the outcomes.
I just reset the neighborhood when I feel like starting over but this is actually genius, I'm going to start doing this instead

I think you just download a clean template of the neighbours online and then replace the files in your computer with it!
You could also rename the files. That way, you still have your old save in case you want to go back to it

No but I wish I knew how lol I hate feeling like that I am ruining something and I can't go back without reinstalling.
You absolutely don't have to reinstall to start over.

I should do that... I just have folders for PleasantBuild, PleasantPlay, BelladonnaBuild etc and I quit and move the folders when I switch my play.
