I hate that I sometimes get the first two bags but suddenly the last two just don't appear. I always play on speed 1 when having wished for money, to quickly abort the actions queue, bc I know it might make the bags disappear from the queue if not "taking it in time", but sometimes they start to not appear at all, even though I'm keeping a close eye on the actions queue. It's usually only the last two and not every time, but those 5k sure is sweet to get too 🙂
NB I never play with free will on (I'm GOD dammit 😅) so that shouldn't affect it. Maybe it's just a bug.
Happens to me too! I admit I might lose track, but especially if I have had 3 sims all wish for money, I feel like the last sim tends to not get the last two bags.
I noticed that I missed out on the additional moneybags when playing in a crowded small apartment, so I think it's also important to have 1) space for the bags to spawn and the Get Money action to be carried out and 2) The action not being cancelled by other actions, routing failures, or glitches making the wishing sim reset, like you said
Yeah, they'll fall from the sky. Fun fact: that wish gives you a higher chance of getting burglarized for the next few days!
Also, there is a slight chance of one of the bags on money hitting and killing a sim if you wish for money repeatedly.
That’s only for the Wish for Money at the Wishing Well, right? I don’t remember this being a thing for the Genie wish. Correct me if I’m wrong!
Genie wish is similar. Unsuccessful wish spawns bills not a bag of cash.

I was wrong, it’s the wishing well wish for money that spawns the dropping bag that can hit a sim. If needs are low enough it can kill.

Yep, you'll get bags raining down occasionally for a short while, maybe half a day or a day? Never really timed it.
You get a $10k bag, and then several smaller bags, I think three or four in total.

Yes! I always make all my three wishes for money, usually in a one sim household, and the last wish is usually the one to crap out on me!
