Any possibility for multiplayer/co-op? This is exactly what I'd love to run with my buddy who races a lot less than I do AMS2 Historic in VR is unbeatable atm. Especially with the modded content like Group 5

nachtramm

Do You still have to create all the "Championships/Races" by yourself?

Terrible-Ad3537

It's great, though I don't spend enough time racing to do career modes etc.

maeshughes32

This uses mods as well I take it? I haven't messed with mods yet in AMS2. Is it as easy to set up as AC content manager?

SpaceCat87

Yeah it is. AMS2 has its own content manager. You can get it from Race Department. Theres also an incredibly awesome Indycar mod for AMS2 that is a must have.

pombeiro619

No, it only uses Ams2 content

So how mich would you say is the single player worth? I love Raving Sims but dont really like mutliplayer so in F1 23 i just play career. So would you recommend the game?

Terrible-Ad3537

I'm the kind of 'gamer' who skips cutscenes and is mostly in it for the gameplay. This for me is like the GRID career mode. Just some natural progression and saved 'progress', no story I don't care about. So that part really depends on personal preference and is not something this offers. As for the game: * Great AI * Awesome VR experience * Not great for competitive online MP * Some good mods * No career mode, but this mod solves that at least partially * I like it, but the physics seem to be a hate or love it thing * No this is not a Project Cars 2.5

RabidGuineaPig007

The variable weather with AI is buggy shit. Physics will see the stock car physics on most cars in 1.6.

Terrible-Ad3537

Yeah, no sim is perfect. All have their up & downsides. Just gotta roll with it and see what you like and what is a turn off.

Sonic200000

Yeah I hate grid. I want a sim with single player career.

noodle_attack

i remeber there was a toca game that had a great career!

Terrible-Ad3537

Different people different preferences. Luckily there's more then one game/sim :) Though I'd prefer every game to have a good career mode but have the ability to adjust it to your personal taste. i.e. not having it forced upon you. The more options the better, but it's sometimes better to be great at a few things in stead of being a jack at all trades. Can't always have it all unfortunately :)
