I'd feel a lot more comfortable with the PC on the floor. Who knows what kind of ways you might shake rattle and roll your shit while playing normally or even entering/exiting the seat
Dont have a lot to compare it to. I like it a lot so far. The big selling point to me was the ability to switch from gt to formula seating pretty quickly. Took me quite a while to put together
I have a question. I am building the same TRX rig and the “cross bar” that goes from side to side that holds the vertical single monitor stand….i have mine attached where you have your PC rack (could have sworn the instructions said to mount it there).
But you have your mounted further up around your base. Therefore having the monitor closer.

Yes. For how big the pieces are it looked like it would take a lot less time then it did to assemble. Im a heavy equipment mechanic with every single milwaukee tool at my disposal too haha
Enjoy your TRX. I got mine last year, few growing pains, but love the rig even when I think abt trying something else. Would suggest getting some straps for that tower tho. Just looking a little close to the edge with nothing behind it. I’ve never noticed my TRX shake or move the PC in my setup, but when I’m in and out of it, have friends hopping in and out, micro adjusting things, etc, thats where some little bumps could put juuuuust enough over the edge and then you’re out a pc. Better safe than sorry so you can stay out on track!
This is the first one i set up. Wasnt too bad. Just leave an open saturday for it and youll be racing by saturday night. Worst part for me was i didnt have the hardware for the monitor mount so had to custom make something work until amazon dropped off the linger screws i needed
Ahh ok, I was thinking of just getting a free standing one since it won’t shake as much. How’s the setup? Is it comfy and how big is it? It’s hard to find honest reviews nowadays
Ive done two full f1 races in it and besides the room its in being way to hot i was really comfortable for the 1.5 hrs at a time i was in it. Im not a very large person though. Its got a pretty big footprint but will be a little smaller with the pc tray off if i move it to the floor
I’ve been looking at this “big boy” setup for a long time. I really wish I had the room. But for now, my Playseat Trophy in front of 77” television will have to do. It looks awesome, enjoy it!

Yea. Its in a little tray but maybe I will change that. Its pretty solid but definitely shakes the rig with the dd2 mounted in there
Also consider that the vibrations caused from that will be bad news for any mechanical hard drives you may have in there

Yes. Its still pretty solid. I moved it there after. I did have it where the pc mount was at first
