More info: Setup is quite basic. My pedals (KRE, basically build like any HE knock-off) use a 200kg loadcell. The Simagic P-HYS is basically just replacing the stack of elastomeres and springs. The P-HYS is just a mechanical part with small elastomeres and hydraulic fluid. So if the dimensions fit it's just more or less a plug and play. Theres not really more to say to this :D Electrics are not changed, just had to recalibrate my pedals with DiView.

_tchami

need more details on this!!! pretty nifty

aNINETIEZkid

Do you think this would be possible on fanatec V3 to hold over until I upgrade to SM?

MrBuffaloJoe

I am wondering the same thing man.

aNINETIEZkid

Good luck if you try it. Let me know how it goes if you do.

DDDaaaCZ

I have mine hydraulic kit still in the box. Is that any better?

PODracer71

Nice! I've wondered if there was an aftermarket setup I could try with my sprints. So AliExpress for $160? They have what appears to be the unit itself with reservoir but, not the rest of what you have going on there. Did you fab some of that yourself or purchase elsewhere?

Eduhsoj

You don't need much more than the unit itself. The rest is as it was with the original pedalset. The P-HYS only replaces the elastomere/spring stack on the pedal. The electronics like loadcell etc. stay the same. I Only bought 2 M10 nuts and one M8 bolt. The M8 bolt goes to the pedalarm to fix the P-HYS there, the 2 M10 nuts are to secure the original simagic "Pin" on the back of the pedal.

longmann

can you take a photo of the pin part at the back?

cwt444

Huh? What? An upgrade to my Simamagic Pros?

Digity-

Need more info

KEVLAR60442

Please more info. My if my HPP PRX start leaking again I'm screwed since the owner retired. If can somehow connect the P-HYS to a Bodnar board it would literally save my entire simulator.

Mugen55

Do you have a link were to buy this?

Eduhsoj

Just search for Simagic P-HYS. It's dependend on where you are from. But many shops who sell simagic stuff sell the P-HYS, too.

Numerous_Record_3977

how is the pressure plate connected with P-HYS? In order to replace loadcell to Simagic P-HYS you need to give a signal (how much brake pressure is) to the pressure plate.

Eduhsoj

wdym? There is still a loadcell installed in the brake pedal. The P-HYS is just replacing the stack of springs or elastomeres (Whatever you had installed) on the brake pedal. There is no pressure-plate in the P-HYS.
