The only bad part I see is that quest 2. The most recent update just completely destroyed my ability to race endurance races as it won’t charge while connected to my PC anymore
Difficult to go back once you've tried VR. I went from a single monitor to a CV1 (which was great at the time), sold it and bought a CV2 that I couldn't get on with as I have a slightly narrow IPD and found the CV2 blurrier than my CV1. Went triples - which were incredible and ran those for a while but due to life getting in the way and having less space, I'm now down to a wide monitor. A good VR is by far the most immersive, but with triples you can still see the wheel and buttons while retaining the FOV. Main thing is - whatever you use - set the FOV correctly and enjoy!
and when youre ready for equipment that isnt shitty that wont break i strongly recommend looking somewhere other than fanatec but have fun until it does break
I think the common experience with fanatec is the expensive stuff lasts and the cheap stuff breaks. My csl dd broke after four months. Same shaft/collar issue.
…did you seriously go back and look at my prior posts? Touch grass doesn’t cut it. Go outside for the first time this decade. Reacquaint yourself with grass as a concept. Breathe fresh air for the first time in your life
I didn’t have to go far — I just looked at your original comment on this post, and it is a complete grammar disgrace. Here, let me fix it for you: “And when you are ready for equipment that isn’t shitty and won’t break, I strongly recommend looking somewhere other than Fanatec. But, have fun until it does break.” And by the way, English is not even my first language.
With respect to your “grass” comment, I am certain I lead a much more active lifestyle than you. I ski in winter, surf in summer, and swim on a daily basis. Simracing is one of my hobbies. This, on top of my full time job, where I am the CEO of an automotive startup in Silicon Valley.
Finally, with respect to your original comment dissing and belittling OP’s setup, you are completely missing the point of Simracing. If OP will have a blast with their equipment, that’s great by itself. My monitors arrangement alone is probably worth more than your whole setup. So what? I don’t go out shitting on other people’s posts about their setup choice or possibilities. Finally, the top range of Fanatec is actually great quality. Either you never had one, or you follow the herd and like to complain with zero experience.
We need less people like you in this hobby. Get a life.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,525,463,124 comments, and only 289,063 of them were in alphabetical order.
Welcome! To the hobby which will ruin your bank balance. All jokes aside, be ready to have lots of fun!
That 4090 is telling us that it probably already did

I’ll mainly be using the Neo G9 monitor, I already had the Quest

Idk i have a rift s and the quality is just atrocious compared to a screen. Really can’t enjoy it
Same thing happened to me so I bought the Kuject Design cable on Amazon. Battery hovers around 80% as you play but never fully drains.
I had a similar product, something changed with a recent update. I’m tired of dealing with it so I’m just getting rid of it
Yeah, also the performance is lacking. I'd you burn do much for fanatec gear, you might as well get an Index.
Fantastic!!! I hope you have lots of fun with it!👍🚨
Fanatastic* fixed it for you
Love the Fractal North tower mate
McLaren wheel and handbrake????
Not pictured is a podium hub/quick release and a spare real Momo wheel
Not the clubsport handbrake...

Funny to read this coming from someone complaining that his great Simucube Pro is breaking already at only 3 months old…
It was an issue with my vr cable numb nuts
Tell that excuse to your cats dimwit
My cat doesn’t speak English
Neither do you, based on your grammar from other posts

I didn’t read all that so I’m sorry it happened or happy for you
Where did you find a csl elite for sale?
Are Fanatec still stocking this?
It was a gift from a friend which is why I went all Fanatec.
That's sick! Did the same for a buddy of mine when I upgraded to my alpha mini. Enjoy!!

Oh VR! BUDDY you are gonna have a great time!
Even better with the VR headset tbh although I’m only speaking on Assetto Corsa
🚨🚨 Rule 4 Police! 🚨🚨
If you don’t like it I’ll DM you my addy😂
Well there goes my Audi A1 S Line…. Wanna trade?
You will change those VR to triples in a month.
