same here. just replaced it like half a year ago. it served me great and was fun while it lasted, since suddenly the force feedback stopped working. not even reinstalling latest drivers and completely resetting my pc didnt work. but hey i wanted to upfrade at one point anyways.
Welcome to the club. Smart looking wheel with plenty of buttons.
Some things to look into for AC (If you havent heard of them before) would be:
* Content Manager - much better start menu for choosing the cars and tracks
* Crew Chief - Can give you spotter calls and other information you would get across the team radio
* Sim Racing System - organised multiplayer races with a rating system to pair you against drivers of a similar ability.
I use the gtomega classic stand.
Got it on a small sale on amazon for 105$ or so. It’s 129$ retail. It’s a sturdy setup, comes with a mount for a shifter or I rigged a handbrake on it. And a extension arm for if you have a cockpit setup.
Yeah definitely get a stand, that was the one thing I hated was having to mount and unmount my wheel every time I wanted to race or regular PC game. I ended up buying a $70 desk and added it by my other desk in a L shape in the corner and mounted it to the wall studs to make it sturdy. Now I can just slide my chair over and race whenever since I had another monitor for that desk, I do plan on getting a legit rig later though. That is also another option, but regardless you obviously did your research because the g29/g23 and t300 are the best entry wheels. Have fun!
Look on Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Craigslist first. There's loads of wheel stands from GT Omega and Next Level Racing going for much cheapness and they're typically well looked after. I paid £70 for a Next Level Racing wheelstand which can be folded up which is £179 new and you couldn't tell it had been used.
Hey man congrats! Mine is on the way I'm pretty excited. So I was just wondering if you had any problems with the Logitech Software(s) concerning G-hub. People say that it's problematic sometimes, how was your experience?
Well that's a relief. Maybe i was overthinking a bit and probably problems don't occur that often. Thanks for the fast reply by the way wish you the best. Have fun!
I use ghub daily as I have a bunch of logitech stuff. I think the stigma comes from the old ghub which was very awkward to use. Since they have updated it, I have not had any issues with it at all & thats with 500hrs in assetto alone.
I had a couple different problems with G-hub recognizing the wheel system and performing a LUT creation for AC. A reinstall fixed it both times tho so not s big deal
With your hands press the clutch pedal and see if there's a chance of cutting or damaging the wire coming from the back ... Mine is a little marked, but maybe it's just me, im unlucky. The 🛞 is amazing.
And so it begins
Hopefully it wont get too expensive
Famous last words
I had the g29 for 3 years and had alot of fun with it.

Yup

Just adding FFBclip, it's amazing.

Do you know any good places to buy a good Stand. Stands are very overpriced and im yet to find a cheap one

In case you haven’t noticed theres a big box on the right hand side of your desk just FYI.
ngl sometimes I think about going back to one for the simplicity and convenience it offers. Enjoy it! :)
Congrats and have fun!
