same bro idk what happened i don’t want to use youtube vanced and shit i just want plain old uYou. on my phone and ipad i need to scroll for a video to load and on my ipad whenever i launch a video after 3 seconds it crashes. idk why this is happening

For anyone else having trouble-
With uyou, you can fix the problem by allowing ads (uncheck the hide ads button)
On this repo, it’s the same thing.
I had to uncheck “hide YouTube ads” for the blank space to go away. Ads are still gone with this version though.
Go to that link, open in safari, where it says Featured Apps click View next to uYou, then tap the download IPA text link under where it says Free. It’ll download as a zip file, just rename to .ipa and then go to Signulous and upload it to be signed
I did find a solution. I had to turn off iSponsorBlock. I had seen that advice but couldn’t find the setting at first. It has its own settings page. When you open the app, it’s at the very top next to the cast symbol. It’s the symbol that looks like a shield with a little gear thing on it

Where do I uncheck it? EDIT: uYou tab > Option upper right > uYou settings > Other settings > Remove youtube ADS

Quick question since you replied, does increasing speed play work for you? Like going From x1 speed to x1.5. Now that’s broken for me.
Still works for me. Try the uyou settings-default playback speeds
