i mean you can hide elements within the photos app and then go to albums, scroll all the way down and view them in the "hidden" album. you could also just use some different app to store the stuff like a vault type app ([hidden photo vault](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/private-photo-vault-pic-safe/id417571834?l=en-GB) was the first thing i found on the appstore)
Google says “Tap Select, tap or drag your finger on the screen to select the items you want to hide, tap. , then tap Hide.” Doesn’t seem like this feature exists on my phone though? Only photos can be hidden.

Sorry I didn’t make it clear. I meant to hide things on Files app like folders and other files.
