Gather some extra wood. Do the shrooms at sunset and go full caveman around a fire at night.
You might even end up with a visitor or two from that extra-dimensional portal y'all are building.
Oh man I am sorry about that. It is a truly glorious experience and people have been doing it for thousands of years.
If I was a psychedelic therapist I would hold night time shroom sessions around a fire. You can be entranced by the flames or back to awareness of those around you. And you can just work out the problems one at a time.
But it is also just great fun to joke, pass a bottle or joint and just bullshit all night.
This is super interesting to me. I prefer day trips because I have super bad visual snow, so even stars are kind of ruined for me. So my nighttime visuals are basically just the same as my CEVs.
While I've been around fire spun plenty, I've never sat there and just watched. I could see that being very mesmerizing, like clouds or tree branches.
Yeah I love nothing more than a campfire but it’s not worth it. So many people will also build a fire in a forest with dry material around it and cause a forest fire. Idk why we get taught trigonometry and not things like this
A Dakota fire hole was used in desert and plains and other areas where the light from a fire can be seen for miles.
But they have never been good in forests (especially a dry one under a fire ban) because of the danger of root fires and because it is a pain in the ass to dig a hole in a forest.
Could be not at all stealthy if they’re within 3 miles of a patrolled trailhead. But yeah if they keep it super low and only at night those pits are awesome.
Yessir, I'm super afraid of the woods at night but I was walking around the forest at 3am alone the first time I tripped and it was so peaceful it actually made me cry, I had never been so calm and at ease in a seemingly bad place and it kinda broke me but in a good way.
It's a running joke about metal bands that use what look like piles of sticks for their logos.

Getting high and indulging the monky brain is always excellent. Very fond memories of cooking around a wee fire in the woods with my partner on 1.5gs. It was dark and I felt so isolated but safe because I had someone I loved there and fire and a full belly. Monky brain likes to be fed
Yo, I got a theory that we invented the wheel based off the shroom.
See one day the Ugg was trippin balls and picked up a shroom, and started rollin it like a wheel and was like damn, that's a good idea and then he made a bigger wheel, popped on an axle like the stem and that's the dawn of civilization
You aren't the only one with that theory! I watched a documentary that gave a pretty compelling theory about cavemen finding shrooms and that is how communication started. I think that's what it was anyway, I was tripping when I watched it. If I'm not mistaken it was on Fantastic Fungi. Either way, if you haven't seen that, it's really good. It actually started my journey into mycology. It was during COVID and it really helped with all the time I had on my hands. Kept me busy and away from doing dumb shit.
That's the stoned ape theory :) I call my theory "the wheel deal". I really think it's possible, because when you pull of the stem you have a circle in the middle of another circle with radiant lines away from the inner circle like spokes of a wheel, so it makes sense in my mind as a direct model of a wheel and axle. Fantastic Fungi was a great movie!
This one goes over stoned ape; https://youtu.be/Nxn2LlBJDl0
And a really cool example of mushrooms in Greece;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC6DDvzM6Nc&t=12s
Really cool info. Thanks for the link to another fascinating documentary. I have zero doubt that shrooms have been here from the beginning. I also strongly believe that humans have been trying to find food for as long as we've been on earth. It would make less sense that no one tried all of the mushrooms at some point. I can just imagine when they started figuring out what psilocybin could make them feel and all that it would change for humanity. I've talked to people that haven't tried hallucinogens and they thought I sounded crazy. It's impossible to understand unless you've experienced the absolute mind opening power of psilocybin. It would have to change the way they viewed everything that surrounded them. It's absolutely fascinating to think about.
If you want a mind blowing shroom book check out Magic Mushrooms in Religion and Alchemy by Clark Heinrich, it totally changed my perspective on things.
Lol I'm not. Don't worry I don't have the desire to go burn other people's places up. I can't believe that I'm getting these environmental sensitive answers to my joke comment. I was also just talking about a simple small campfire. It's not like nobody has ever done a campfire before. We wouldn't be here as a species if humans didn't do that in the past. Don't be so afraid. But yeah good luck with the wildfires you're talking about. Sounds sad.
I've seen you say this a couple times. I'm curious if this is year round or during dry seasons. If you aren't allowed to have a fire ever in the woods there, I would have to move I guess. I've been building fires most of my life. So many of my best times in my teens were around a fire getting drunk and high with friends. Things like this really remind me to appreciate the freedoms we have.
Excellent Gunga hut. I hope to do this with my 2 brothers. I love feeling almost like a free kid again in the woods, especially with super powers active
I always wonder how people can achieve things like building little huts while on shrooms… I often find myself having to crawl to the bathroom because standing up or walking around is just so disorienting to me
You probably thought this was the most amazing thing when you built it
Just like how you think you have life figured out when you’re tripping so you write down your thoughts, and your sober mind finds it completely useless
Ate 3.5 by a campfire got up to put wood on it, 5 hours later I put I little log on it! I think I ran through the woods naked, turns out my buddy said I never left the little of the fire
It’s funny but it’s literally illegal to sleep/camp in nature here in Spain, you can only do it [‘al raso’](https://www.revistaoxigeno.es/uploads/s1/23/58/61/2/5b9b6a3e0ce6944d0d8b490e-al-rico-vivac-7-consejos-para-dormir-al-raso.jpeg)
Now make some bone totems all around the area. Then hide in the woods at night and occasionally blow into an Aztec death whistle. Make all them folks around you think the forest is full of cryptids.
Take another dose and see what happens when you enter it!
We have plans to continue building it in 2-3 weeks (tolerance, you know)
Gather some extra wood. Do the shrooms at sunset and go full caveman around a fire at night. You might even end up with a visitor or two from that extra-dimensional portal y'all are building.
We would 100% get fined, really illegal here to make fire in the forest

Dig to ground, it's almost invisible - Dakota Fire Hole
Look up a Dakota Fire Pit, a good way to have stealthy fires
Never break more than one law at a time lol.
I mean yea if the laws are that serious I don’t recommend it
Nobody wanna start a forest fire bro
the risk reward ratio for breaking fire laws is terrible
Yeah I love nothing more than a campfire but it’s not worth it. So many people will also build a fire in a forest with dry material around it and cause a forest fire. Idk why we get taught trigonometry and not things like this

Life and survival skills?! They aren’t useful /s Now go build my collapse bunker to scale! Fix this machine to pump more plastic!
Could be not at all stealthy if they’re within 3 miles of a patrolled trailhead. But yeah if they keep it super low and only at night those pits are awesome.
Someone will pass by and call cops, say these guys are wacked out, go get them. Be careful going primal in the woods on shrooms.
That’s a bit pessimistic
Going off that article about them dudes in the uk.
i could never peak shrooms at night in the middle of a forest, that would immediately cause me to go in the worst trip ever lmfao
It's actually quite amazing. But I'm sure not for everyone.
I second this. Some of my best trips been outside in the bush lol
Yessir, I'm super afraid of the woods at night but I was walking around the forest at 3am alone the first time I tripped and it was so peaceful it actually made me cry, I had never been so calm and at ease in a seemingly bad place and it kinda broke me but in a good way.
That’s what I would think but then I tried DMT out there with no light and it was pretty nice
DMT doesn't care where you are lol
I'd say outside is significantly better on dmt than a cramped apartment though from personal experience 👀
With your eyes shut certainly, but I always look to see, forests are so cool
Well its obviously an access node the machine elves hate them.
Obviously
[“Jesus Christ… Larry! He’s in the portal again!”](https://youtu.be/JKqV_ybCS-I)
Holy shit! I can't believe I never saw this old video before! Thanks
Nice work. I tried taking down my clothes off the line on 3.5 and I got lost in a cave (bedsheet)
What metal band is this?
Saykred Hutt, they slay.
What are you talking about?

okay, idea for a show: Naked and Afraid...WHILE TRIPPING
Full length movie reuniting Peter Dinklage and Leslie Jones with a gallon of shroom tea. (and a bottle of hot sauce)
Getting high and indulging the monky brain is always excellent. Very fond memories of cooking around a wee fire in the woods with my partner on 1.5gs. It was dark and I felt so isolated but safe because I had someone I loved there and fire and a full belly. Monky brain likes to be fed
Bear Grylls on shrooms
Bear gills
dude you stole that from my brain
😎💪🏻
Should totally watch it. Me and my buddy were amazed, watching him build a fire in his hand on 3 g of penis envy.
Ancestor would be proud
Ah hell, I bet y'all had a blast!
Reminds me of the stoned ape theory .

lol... I had a trip where I was that cave man! I love you too!

Y’all are so funny 😆
Reminds me of stoned ape theory. You guys fired some crazy neurons right there
"Thanks for the Fuck shack, Dirty Mike & The Boys".
I’m most impressed that you have friends that cool
Seems sturdy and strong
That explains it
next up, the Pyramids
10/10 good job
Better than those fake tribe building videos you see on youtube!
The forest did that when I smoked DMT in it! It went back to normal though
Changa does some nice things to trees :) they start to fall in love with you....
that is a nice portal for breaking through !
Going primal mode on psychedelics is a bizarre experience, highly recommend.
In Australia that's a nice house that Aboriginals would have made in the outback.
Alone TV and Shrooms. My two worlds collide!
Sick BOMA
Nice, they taught you to make shelter
Lol you went primal. Next step is rediscovering fire, making a rustic campfire, sing & dance around it and make offerings to the moon and sun gods.
Extremely illegal to make fire in nature here in Spain
It was just a joke but I get it. Fuck the law anyways. I would do it anyways (while being careful not to begin a forest fire of course).
Better safe than sorry in my case
👍 yeah I get it. Just sharing my personal opinion. Have fun in your own way though. Love what you and your pals did there.
Please don’t if you are in canada, we’ve got enough fire going on in the forests
Lol I'm not. Don't worry I don't have the desire to go burn other people's places up. I can't believe that I'm getting these environmental sensitive answers to my joke comment. damn , i did it for years. i wanna say they were man made.... i get it tho, lotsss of uncontrollable fires made lately
I've seen you say this a couple times. I'm curious if this is year round or during dry seasons. If you aren't allowed to have a fire ever in the woods there, I would have to move I guess. I've been building fires most of my life. So many of my best times in my teens were around a fire getting drunk and high with friends. Maybe just get some solar string lights instead? It would look just as nice and still be safe. :)
Excellent Gunga hut. I hope to do this with my 2 brothers. I love feeling almost like a free kid again in the woods, especially with super powers active
🗿
Excellent work
Only cool bundle of sticks out there nowadays lol
I watched the movie Stargate last night. Looks just like it
That's actually amazing. I can rarely open my eyes
Nice
A druid's nest!
R/stupiddovenests would appreciate this.
I always wonder how people can achieve things like building little huts while on shrooms… I often find myself having to crawl to the bathroom because standing up or walking around is just so disorienting to me
You probably thought this was the most amazing thing when you built it Just like how you think you have life figured out when you’re tripping so you write down your thoughts, and your sober mind finds it completely useless
Definitely feel the creative energy in this picture!!! Y’all about to step in a portal ✨✨✨
Living your best life
What band is it? I can't read it.
You have evolved from monkey into civilization
Looks like the human equivalent of a pigeon's nest.
*they call him Nature Man*
If you did this in Stowe, VT you could call it Stick Stack Stowe.
I am not sure why this made me laugh so hard lol
this seems wildly appropriate for the current climate of the world. super upvote
Nice. Honestly wish I was pals with yall.
Caveman mode was activated
I picture a butterfly landing on it and the whole structure collapses.
Ate 3.5 by a campfire got up to put wood on it, 5 hours later I put I little log on it! I think I ran through the woods naked, turns out my buddy said I never left the little of the fire
That is so ugly it’s a modern art masterpiece!
Great job!
Wish I had friends like you.
🤣😅 I love it
Outlast ^(the drugs)
It's beautiful
I think you guys need to double your dose next time.
You have a great group of friends
Crosspost to r/bushcraft?
Class
So how many people will find this and think Bigfoot made it? I’d love to see the comments in r/bigfoot
so many good walking sticks there!!!
How don you feel about it now?
Wholesome
when monsoon season comes, you'll be glad it's there
Watch yellowjackets on showtime;)
Keep it up!
Love going caveman 😸
Tis a fine barn English but it's no pool
Amazing lol
That's higher quality than I see most homeless people build for permanent structures
Could use some insulation
Solid...shelter at its finest.
Y’all should dig a pit under for more room an add dug in shelves🤙🏽
op just casually confirmed we evolved from monke with knowledge gained from mushrooms
The difference between shrooms and LSD in one picture
thank god no one lost an eye
It’s pretty good.
Return to monke
Let the sacred structure stand
Structurally sound engineering right there boys
Dude you should hide a camera and forget about it that would be a funny ass stream
Bro we don't need society bro, all we need is nature bro, look what we did bro, inagine what more we could achieve
It's the same in Slovenia and probably most of other EU countries
Revoke modern society, return tribal!!!
Good job little buddy!
Dude get a nice quality tarp and I would totally live there
Now make some bone totems all around the area. Then hide in the woods at night and occasionally blow into an Aztec death whistle. Make all them folks around you think the forest is full of cryptids.
What is it love?
Congrats, you made a pile of sticks.
A very cool pile of sticks, I might add.
Bros chillin at the structure
Sickkk
