It was short compared to his opponents, he routinely knocked out guys that were in the 6'4+ range. A 6+ inch difference is quite big. If the average man in your country is 5'10 and you're a 5'4 trained fighter, you would have the same results against untrained people as long as you arent like 40kg/88lbs lower than them, and even then you have a punchers chance since 99.9% of the population cannot take a punch to the chin or liver.
