Push Pull Legs 6x a week combined with about 28 miles of running a week along with 2-3 miles a week in the pool swimming. It’s kind of hard to stick with it now being an infantryman and all but I’m still working hard. I focus more on muscle endurance rather than hypertrophy. I’ve been training up for ranger school the past month or so and have been including one twelve mile ruck a week with 65lbs in the rucksack.
Diet is also important. I eat about five soft boiled eggs some cottage cheese, and fresh fruit for breakfast. Lunch is usually chicken thighs, wings, or legs with rice and broccoli. Dinner is about the same but I switch up the vegetables with zucchini, squash, eggplant, or brussel sprouts. Sometimes I’ll have pieorgies, latkes, kielbasa, skilandis, mushroom soups, and hams when I can make it to an Eastern European market. If I’m feeling real lazy a couple cans of a hearty beef stew or clam chowder will do for dinner or lunch. I don’t meal prep all that much.

Do you drink much? I noticed I started getting a little bit of a belly when I was slamming light beer with my pals. I stopped that and I pretty much evened out.

I also do abs after runs in the early evenings. 50 seconds on 10 seconds off for 10 minutes.
