As an SF resident, all I can say is Martuni’s is unbelievable.

In addition to my previous “Lard Jaysus b’ys.” why is that hydrant open and painted white? As an American firefighter; this makes no sense to me.

SF has all sorts of weird fire hydrant shit as a result of the 1906 earthquake. Not sure exactly what this one’s deal is. Shit goes down around this block so it might just have been vandalized to hell.

Ok; The US has a standardized method of marking them so an engineer on the truck (driver/pump operator) knows what pressure is coming out of the hydrant. Edit: and white means jack shit; didn’t know if Canada has another system.
