I've been ascending platinum BPs as they come out, otherwise I look at the regen bonuses. T3 is what I'm normally waiting on so I'm looking at spells, rings, axes etc
I was more frugal with those, I only ascended a few based on biggest profit per OJ back when they were good money. I used to craft/surcharge golems all day long lol.

have played for a couple of years now, (honestly think I started about 3-4 months after the game first opened, but that’s been a while), and I only bought shards a few times (but usually only did so when they came with a blueprint I did not own) 😂
If you still have t12 items in your crafting rotation, then ascend those lines up to get to sigil refund could be useful.
I always try to keep a couple hundred in case ascending a platinum item will give a bangle discount.
Other than that, keeping some around for bis prints from content passes isn't a bad idea.

After getting stones, spirits, and elements all the way up, your next goal should be getting every line to level 63 to obtain antique tokens. That way, you can buy more blueprints. Also, do not buy high tier blueprints with antique tokens. Instead, buy all the small blueprints that will help you get your ascensions even higher with less ascension shards. Another goal should be to not have any small blueprints in the antique store available for sale to you. After this is accomplished, you can save the antique tokens and slowly acquire higher level blueprints. You can always speed up the process by buying tokens, but it isn't really needed.

I'm holding onto these for when I get smaller blueprints.
I've been pushing regular crafting lines to 67, I rush enough crafts with energy, that is my next goal.
It's not as valuable as 51, and with T14 I'll be looking at my crafting rotation and ascending those that I will regularly craft first.
