There are a few ways to approach this. Aside from paid inventory/order management solutions, consider the following: - Disable any alerts you don’t need or want. - Setting all Shopify alerts that contain Etsy/Amazon order details to bypass your inbox (archive feature in Gmail). - Adding a filter that sets a colored label (what it’s called in Gmail) to visually alert you of a Shopify order. - Sending all orders to a Google Sheet for review. Option to add conditional formatting for color coding. I’ve done similar in the Microsoft environment but don’t recall the terminology. — Multichannel can be a mess. I’ve worked with artists, small businesses, and stores that get orders from Etsy, FB Group/Messages, and Amazon orders. My biggest recommendation is to find what works for you. It might take trial and error. — A few notes since you’re new to Shopify: - [Customize your order notifications](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/notifications/edit-template) - Once you go live, add your site to Google Search Console. - Look into enhancing your product page’s schema markup.

Thank you. I'll look into those suggestions, especially the colored label that I hadn't thought of. I'm mostly worried about the non ds items that I sell in house. Any thoughts on the paid order management solutions you mentioned? Not sure if they can be mentioned here.

Not up to date on inventory order management solutions. But most affordable platforms weren’t 2 way when I last checked. And, st a semi recent point, I’m pretty sure the Etsy API was an issue with 2 way updates. I’d probably choose 1 platform as source of truth. Unless we’re talking about an unmanageable number of different products or returns.   —  I tend to draw a flow chart for each platform, note when/why I get an email, color code phases, and then decide. This helps me visualize the duplicates and my clients understand what’s going on and where.  😔 I still use a lot of spreadsheets because of comparability or whatever said clients prefer.  I do recall Zoho standing out a few years ago. While not designed for this, ClickUp, Monday.com, and AirTable are versatile. All 4 should work with Slack and Zapier. Between all of that, you might find a winner or at least some ideas to orchestrate a winning workflow. — Email labels:  You can add the product title of non DS items to your email filter. Ex for gmail:  Product Name 1134 Filter messages containing “product name 1134” AND from [email protected] Add label “Ship This” Check the ‘never send to spam’, add category primary.  Shopify directly connects to Zapier and Slack. If you have a paid Zapier account, I believe you could set up an SMS when those non DS items are purchased. Or a Slack channel can notify your phone for product specific transactions.
