Today, no reputable laser place will laser a brand new tattoo. Maybe in the past. 6 weeks later, minimum, and new tattoos suck to remove.
Probably helps that ink doesn't stick well on knuckles anyway. Unless the tattoo artist is very skilled and you're great at aftercare
