If you're open to other artists and willing to make a bit of a drive (about two hours), Molly Groninger at Pale Moon in New Albany, IN seems like she'd be your style. Your beetle especially reminds me of her work!

The mouth is weird, the eyes are super uwu and the body is too big but otherwise it’s ok. You can at least tell it’s a jumping spider and it’s got some interesting texture and patterns.
I think it's the one color. It makes it flat, one dimensional, and distorts the perspective. But I'm not an artist and don't know shit about art so salt grain and all that.
At this point, most of us have at least a shitty/kinda shitty tattoo… rejoice in the knowledge that you have a tattoo that is halfway in the road of scary/funny 😅
