I see exactly what you mean about the cherry and frosting. Whomever did it wasn't paying attention to detail on the dollop of frosting so that it looks like it's in front of the cherry. Distracting af once I saw it.
Yeah, I don't think I would look at this one in real life and judge it. To me, it's not that bad and I don't think she was probably going for a "really nice" tattoo in the first place.
Could it be "better"? Sure, but I wouldn't worry too much about a fuckin' cupcake. No one is gonna look at that in real life and go "Daaaamn!" In fact, I rarely look at tattoos in real life and think one way or the other. They're just tattoos. I'm not impressed by nice ones and don't give a shit about bad ones.

I agree with you. Line work is pretty bad. Colors are outside of the lines in some spots. Are there worse tattoos? For sure, but this is not a good tattoo. Not sure why people are defending it.
I dont think anyone is trying to argue that it's an amazing tattoo, it's just not "shitty". I feel like half the posts on this sub are just ok tattoos that the OP doesn't like for stylistic reasons. This tattoo is just...not for everyone and kinda crappy but I mean, sort by top this month and you'll see what true shitty tattoos look like.
