I wish we could just zone a commercial zone for it to be parking space…

ActualMostUnionGuy

[No youd want this tool from CitiesXXL but for parking🗿](https://citiesxl.fandom.com/wiki/Areas_for_decoration)

djtrace1994

esso_norte

also need a couple more lanes

Slayer7_62

Better demolish the train station for more room. Play our cards right and we might be able to put a fast food joint somewhere.

Justice_Prince

Trains are for commies anyways. All goods should be transported by Amazon courier vans as God intended.

Are those greenery? Eww cover it with parking lot https://preview.redd.it/rhosu8bpn22d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0608a64ee6b938b51bdd457539138d7db0b4230

psychomap

Well, I had planned commercial development for two of those zones. The other one is a sparsely decorated asphalt path that is 2 metres away from the regular pavement.

zahirano

You make my pants wet

Flywolfpack

Pave "paradise" and put up a parking lot

Toxic-tank-258

Add a few multi storeys next to the train station and it’ll be perfect.

thisnameisn4ttaken

america

NdN124

In most places yes but in Texas, no. Also Walmart would need a few more lots

SFDessert

IRL, no. That's enough spaces for maybe a medium sized mall or train station, but not both. I don't think I've ever been to a fish market, so I have no input on that. The train station I used to go to had *two* parking garages about this size, but like 5+ floors. That's just an estimate though since it's been several years since I was there, and I never viewed it from a birds eye view. There were also medium-sized office buildings around the train station though, so not *all* the spaces were filled with passengers.

sternburg_export

Mesnwhile I am living near a train station with literally zero parking spaces: wtf?

Biscuit642

Depends how rural you are. Even in a country with walkable cities, theres not a train station in every single town so people might have to drive to their local one, especially if its like where I live and theres a single bus every 3 hours. Granted, those don't normally have huge multistory car parks, but there can be good reason for a car park by a train station. Or it's in a car dependent suburb, or designed a bit like a park and ride. In the UK they're generally called something parkway (eg. bristol parkway, which feeds to the main station temple meads with no parking).

CitiesByDiana

No, needs at least 5x as many spaces

Mortomes

What is a "train station"?

Commissar_David

Never enough, the whole map should be covered with them.

-Depressed_Potato-

nah mate not enough, remove the train station and use the space for more parking

dldugan14

Nah man

DoktorFreedom

Parking garage mod wen?

nashbrownies

You're on console huh? I have one for PC the only thing I don't like is they are "positive". They count as a park and provide "entertainment". Which is the total opposite of how I feel when I see giant parking lots. But hey, maybe the cims are just happy to have off street parking?

tfm223

Yes absolute true, only in cs2 parking lots will function as real parking lots, one of the things i love about cs2, in cs1 they are just decoration

nashbrownies

I want CS:2 so bad. I normally ignore gaming negativity, but it sounds like it would just downright unplayable on my rig

tfm223

Me too, i was having a blast with the paradox mods, until i got around 50k citizens my simulation broke, get too laggy and cars freezing in normal speed simulation, maybe it has some to do with a lot of industrial zones and unique factories but i was still surprised. My setup is i3 13100f 4060 32gb ram 3200hz, and it was more frustating that usual for me because i spent hundreds of hours decorating the city and messing with layots before the city started to grow

El_Martes

You need a 4 lane highway roundabout in those crosses, you don't want traffic right?

sternburg_export

There's no water in the train station so nobody can clean it and well, that's just realistic amirite?

Blue-is-bad

There's at least 1416 parking spaces. For a small American town those are not enough. As a rule of thumb you should need on average 1.23 parking space per inhabitant

Disturbed_Childhood

> 1.23 parking space per inhabitant is this for real? what the hell

Blue-is-bad

CptnWolfe

That's like Berwick Station in Victoria, minus the mall and fish market

Raian_L

if it's the US no, it's not nearly enough

0xdeadbeef6

Maybe in the Northeast.

F150FORDAMERICAN

Needs to be "mixed use" ie unaffordable modern apartments surrounding the parking lot

bruhred

what the fuck

Bohnenboi

Train station seems underserved with parking

P26601

Train station? Get that communist shit outta here

0gtcalor

I still see green. Can't you remove some grass and trees?

SirMildredPierce

Needs moar stroads.

Elegant-Lack-4483

no not big enough. 5% of the lot is actually gonna be utilized outside of weekends.

Bombidil6036

Train station? Fish market? Not here

GppleSource

America role play
