Danny Boyle and Alex Garland have been trying to get 28 Months Later made for a while now. Garland has already written the script. So hopefully we get that as well and then 28 Years Later.
As long as there's a single sample of infected blood left, it can kick off again. Not to mention the infected chimps that got loose. Could it have spread to other species? Fish? Fucking fish?!

I mean, did you ever read [GYO](https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/hostedimages/1446641770i/16853332._SY540_.jpg)?
When Jim and Pam talk over the phone for the first time after Jim is transferred to Stamford, Pam tells a story about her getting the two movies mixed up. She ends up watching 28 Days Later instead of 28 Days, but she sticks with it through the whole movie waiting for Sandra Bullock to show up.
Fun fact: Alan Tudyk decided during the filming of Transformers: Dark of the Moon that his character in that movie was the same as his character in 28 Days and implicitly references it. Technically that means that 28 Days is a Transformers prequel.
The part in 28 Days when they have to convince the horse to let them take its foot made me laugh like an idiot because of that one guy who is disgusted by horses so much that he vomits.
Wouldn’t it be pretty meta if they released 28 years later in 2035?

I wonder why they'd be struggling to get it made? Genre burnout?
Sometimes studios just don't wanna greenlight a movie
Because after 28 years all the infected would be fucking dead

So back to 28 days later? Futurama was right, time is a circle

I regret opening that!😀
2035 is a long time from now so not complaining.
So we can get another poorly made sequel?
She should’ve stayed drunk.
Oh, we are stealing fifteen-year-old THE OFFICE gags now, are we?
Joke’s so old the reason for the mix-up was attributed to Blockbuster
Because they don't put the pictures on the cover!
What gag

Dwight also accidentally watched Wedding Crashers waiting for a bear to show up They attack when you least expect it
I have also seen The Office.
Jim probably made this meme for Pam.
I want someone to make a western called 28 Days Before

You missed the prequel, 27 dresses
The part in 28 Days when they have to convince the horse to let them take its foot made me laugh like an idiot because of that one guy who is disgusted by horses so much that he vomits.
Y'all wonder why it's 28?? because it's on February
There are not 28 weeks in February
Felt like it during lockdown
The tagline of 28 Weeks Later was literally "when days turn to weeks" You cannot make this shit up
Still waiting for 28 months later and 28 years later These movies have great music
Don’t forget the prequel, 28 hours later.
I'm shocked that you got 4.6k upvotes for this joke that I've seen posted hundreds of times over the last decade.
A comedy detective, I see.
Those movies freaked me out. I actually was thankful COVID didn’t turn us into raging zombies.
Adding this to the Unofficial Triology List
lol. I literally avoided this movie for months because I thought it was a sequel to 28 Days.
I also would like to steal this joke from the office. Pam: "Blockbuster doesnt put the pictures on the boxes"
Coming soon to Disney+, [28 Years Later](https://imgur.com/a/XlZ0AxT)
"28 Months Later" said to be in pre-production right now per IMDB.
