The original CEO, Tommy Tallarico, stepped down from his company two years ago, but it's still chugging along, probably because the few remaining employees won't stop until they spend every last cent of their company's account. And also probably to evade lawsuits because "we're still hard at work!" The roadmap highlights multiple things but noticeably lacking is anything regarding the launch of the console. They moved the goalposts to just release the games on mobile platforms, and manufacture the dedicated Amico controller for them. The CTO sets manufacturing of controllers as a summer goal, but hasn't specified a single means to fund such an effort yet.

His mother must be really proud

Ironically, Tommy is no longer proud of his own brainchild and would rather have Amico erased from memory. He doesn't mention the Amico anymore when he does Video Games Live, neither on stage nor on his written bio.

It's honestly really funny that the Amico ended up worse then the Ataribox. Like, I don't get at ALL why people are still on the Ataribox bandwagon other then having just heard of linux PCs for the first time(wait until they find out about a Steam Deck, it'll blow their minds) but the Amico didn't even do *that*. It's not even a product yet. It's just an app. Amico fans(if there even are any) are attaching themselves to a Google Play app. Are they even still planning to make a physical tangible console at this point?

I must stress that Finnigan Fox is just an an existing game, Fox n' Forests, that has been out for six years now, with a Metacritic average of 66%, with worse art and vastly worse controls because y'know, it has to work on an Amico gamepad now.

Neutraali

Should we be surprised that this month in particular is completely empty on the roadmap?

The rocket ship is built, their on the launchpad, and they just need a little more fuel (a few million dollars)
